Prices are decent here and we love bowling however I just docked down some stars due to the fact the staff isn't very friendly, can't even smile or say hello to anyone there without getting a look of death and ignored... bring up customer service and friendliness and we will be back read more

Should be zero stars. I have been there 3 times. Each time, the old man at the counter acted constipated and was totally rude. He seems to hate people. I won't be going back. Sniff those shoes and smile once in a while, old man! Honestly it won't hurt you or your business. read more

Less than 1 star for my granddaughter's 8th birthday party experience. Beginning with a rude "welcome" to absolutely no help with the party from staff. She had been a guest prior at a child's birthday party which was very well organized & planned, which is why we chose this particular venue. It was a total series of blunders, one after the other. My daughter & other parents had to manage the whole thing, even the clean-up. It took an hour after the party was over to even find a manager. One staff member tried to call a manager to no avail. We talked with several staff members & only one, Alyssa, was very understanding of our treatment, and the lack of staff present for the party. At one point, when asked for a staff member to help with the party, Gina (who was working at the desk, periodically, replied, "What kind of help do you want? You're getting what we provide." We were appalled. We could have just gone there & bowled without having to pay a room rental fee & been treated better. After waiting an hour to see a manager, guess who shows up and presents herself as general manager? -- Gina! She said, "I've been an event planner & know how to do parties." She was extremely defensive. Very bad experience. Didn't give us her boss's name. Alyssa, not a manager, was helpful & very apologetic. She took a notepad & wrote our complaints & contact info, gave us the name of Gina's boss whom we have yet to hear from. read more

Terrible customer service - went to open bowl Friday at 5pm since website showed open bowl hours of 9am-1:30am all day, but upon getting there, we were told by the male employee behind the counter that we had to be out by 6:45pm since a league was coming in. Of course, he let us pay for 6-games since it's all about the money (not recommending that maybe we just start with 4-games due to time) and after having to take longer to bowl to practice bowling etiquette for the pair next to us, we only finished our 2nd game at approximately 6:30pm. I went to the front desk and asked if he wanted to move us to one end of the house so the league could use the lanes (we're on leagues and know how they work). He says it would not matter since the league is a full house and he didn't take this opportunity to tell u that we still had time to finish our last game since the league didn't actually start practice until 7:15pm. After only 3 rushed frames into our 3rd paid game, league players show up and in our space, complaining about us being on their lane and not being able to set-up until we were done, hovering and rushing us. So, I started packing up and suddenly, the employee runs down to tell me that we still have 40-minutes to finish our game and the league bowlers were telling us to finish our game since we had plenty of time and it was their last night so their scores didn't count anyway - of course, this was only after I was clearly irritated and had started packing up. Forget it. I don't mind losing my $12 when I can find another house to go bowl at, but don't advertise open bowling when it is not available, disclose the facts before setting up our games and taking my money for all 3 games when you know that we probably don't have enough time to finish all our games, and then miss multiple opportunities to let us know what is going on and having an attitude and then trying to back-paddle after the fact. We are signed up for a Thursday night league, but now considering dropping out since we don't support any business with this kind of poor customer customer. It's not the money, it's the principal. The only positive about this place is Mark and his Pro Shop - he is honest and patient with a wealth of knowledge. read more

first off they re painted it so it now looks like an adult book store it's dark purple. its nice its pay by the game not the hour. they have a decent ball selection. they have a bar section with a few pool tables a jukebox a few video games 2 dartboards so if your in Brighton and want some to do something fun i would try this place , read more

I used to bowl at the Brighton bowl. Now I know why I stopped. We went there for a friend's birthday on a Saturday. It was a very snowy night and we were most of the business after 9:00 pm. We paid for 3 games of glow bowl. Well before we were finished playing the second game, they tried to erase our scores before we were done. Then they asked could they split us up to speed us out of there. We agreed to do that, then when we were in the beginning of our third game, they turned all the lights on(remember it was glow bowling) . Then we tried ordering another pitcher of beer and was told that we couldn't buy anymore draft beer. I asked for just a glass and was denied. It was o.k. to order two bottles of beer for nearly the same price as their over priced pitchers. The waitress did a fine job, I have nothing bad to say about her. However, I will think long and hard before going there again. Now I remember why I stopped in the first place. read more

This place refused service to my 13 year old son with autism...on his birthday!!!! No management skills. Terrible customer service. They refused service to us because we didn't have a reservation. It was my son's birthday party, and he has autism. Even though we were the ONLY people in the dining area we still did not get service after sitting there for 30 minutes. But when I brought the cake in, the so called manager/bartender darn near ran to the table to tell us we can't bring in cake for a birthday, and walked away not even offering drinks. We asked for the manager, and she said it was her, which really made us laugh. My son had his heart set on this place, and we had to force him to go somewhere else for dinner. I have been bowling at this place for many many years. I use to love it but its changed. There is a women behind the main bar pretty much every night i think i have heard people call her willa. I have witnessed her treat employees like total trash over a simple thing. She speaks to the customers like the are a hassle to her. And worst of all i have actually seen her make her waitresses wait in the customer line to get drink orders filled. How can a waitress possibly do her job if every time she needs drinks from the bar she has to wait 20 min in a line. I wish they would fix these problems. This willa lady really ruins the place. Until i hear she has been managed or changes her way i will not be back. I brought my elderly parents here and my mom asked us to leave because of her. I will be spreading the word. read more
