If I could give this business zero stars, I would. I strongly advise against purchasing a vehicle from this dealership. BUYER BEWARE. For those seeking an explanation, here is what happened. I visited the dealership intending to trade in my vehicle, which I still owed money on, to see if they would cover the remaining loan balance. My car had a small dent on the hood, roughly the size of a golf ball. While I was test-driving a vehicle, the staff inspected mine. When I returned, they asked if I would file an insurance claim for the dent, claiming it would cost them $1,200 to repair. They specifically instructed me to say it occurred in a parking lot so it wouldn't cost me anything. This was dishonest and unethical. I refused to make a false insurance claim and told them I would take my business elsewhere. Only then did their tone change, and they suddenly agreed to pay off my vehicle in full. Second, I was made to wait for hours. By the time we began the paperwork, I was mentally drained and just wanted to leave. They rushed me through the process and buried additional warranties in the fine print without clearly explaining them. One such warranty added $5,000 to the total cost. They repeatedly claimed I was getting a "deal," but said the only way to offer it was by increasing my monthly payment. Third, after the sale, they completely ignored my attempts to follow up. I called over 30 times across three days. When someone finally answered, I was told I'd receive a call back but that never happened. I followed up again, got the same promise, and still heard nothing. I have screenshots from a salesperson assuring me someone would be in touch "ASAP." That never happened either. Fourth, make sure the dealership requests a 10-day payoff amount for your trade-in while you're present. Do not let them delay. It took them over three days to contact my bank. When I reached out to the bank myself, they were confused and told me no request had been made. Meanwhile, interest continued to accrue, which meant the actual payoff amount increased, potentially leaving me responsible for the difference. To anyone considering doing business with this dealership. Record everything. Document everything. Thankfully, I kept all my paperwork and screenshots. I don't know if they saw from my license plate that I'm a veteran and assumed I'd be an easy target but I will not be taken advantage of. This business has a pattern of misrepresentation, which can constitute a breach of contract. Don't let them deceive you, you have consumer rights. I will be posting this experience on every platform available: Google Reviews, Yelp, BBB, Facebook, and relevant veteran community pages. I also intend to contact others who have had similar experiences to determine if they've filed complaints with LARA (Licensing and Regulatory Affairs). I will be filing a formal complaint with LARA and strongly encourage others who have had negative or unethical dealings to do the same. The dealership already has four complaints on record. I bought my BMW 328i from Brighton Motors back in February and thought it was gonna be a smooth process. Instead, it turned into a full-blown headache I'm still dealing with. First off, they ran six hard credit pulls on me without clearly explaining anything, and then acted like I couldn't qualify for anything better. Spoiler: I went to a credit union the same day and got approved at a 6.4% rate. They just wanted me stuck in their financing. Then they sold me a "3-year" warranty for $3,500, but the paperwork only said 2 years. I left a review about it, and they reached out saying they'd "fix it" if I took the review down. That alone was a red flag. After all that, I started hearing the contract might've been voided, so I went back in person and they told me it wasn't--just "the old version." That didn't sit right with me, so I called the warranty company myself... And sure enough, they confirmed: Brighton Motors voided the warranty themselves. No coverage. No refund. No help. I went back again to ask for a refund and now the story is, "Oh we just submitted payment." Like... MONTHS later? I have receipts for everything--texts, voicemails, paperwork, even a recording with the warranty company confirming the whole thing. If they don't make this right soon, I'll be pursuing legal action. Alright so we bought A 2021 Ford Explorer of these people. And everything was good and cool for about 3 days. But then the check engine light came on. No cool no cool. So I get my scanner out and see its some evap codes. Nothing major but not cool. This is A 3 year old car with not many miles for A decent chunk of change. I continue my search and find the codes were last cleared right before the pictures for the vehicle were taken. So we call to confront them and they say they did work to warrant clearing the codes. But did or could not provide A work order to prove as such. They did say they would take the car back once the title (IT won't) came in. So already 2 lies. Now some time passes and were waiting. Still haven't even gotten the plate. Anyhow I go in to confront them in person. And the guy I talk to says they never did any work. And that the people that owned it before them must have cleared the codes. Well that just means they didn't properly check the car before selling it. Still A very bad look. Also we were promised A second key. And got one that didn't work. So we have one key!!!! And the backup camera is blurry. These people are liars. Do NOT EVER buy A car from them. read more

if I could negative stars I would. I purchased a 2018 Audi from this dealership Aug 1, 2025 and have been trying to get them to fix my vehicle and honor my warranty for the last 7 months. My salesman Will was nothing but a young conman who lies and treats you like garbage once he gets his money! Even after calling him out on several lies he still proceeded to lie to me. The vehicle was sold "as is" but we were told it had a clean title and no issues besides a sensor light on. Well low and behold we took it to the Audi dealership a day after purchasing due to oil leaking and found out the car has over $10000 in repairs needed!! one of them being major structural damage and the other missing airbags. We had a horrible experience at this sleazy dealership. They kept our vehicle for an extra 3 weeks without doing the agreed upon work, then dumped it off to our neighbor without giving us notice that it was being delivered. Sounds crazy, but it's true. They literally allowed our new vehicle to be stolen if it hadn't been for our neighbor's ironic timing. After many ignored calls, we sat with an over-priced lawn ornament until they realized that we weren't doormats and then they partially did the agreed upon work. Brighton Motors is a terrible used car lot, which I found out when I accompanied my niece to purchase a vehicle from them. The sales rep (Shane) kept misrepresenting the numbers to make it seem like they were reducing the price of the vehicle, whey they were simply shifting costs/fees around. After waiting a half hour for an interest rate quote, Shane cited an outlandishly-high figure. When we said "no" and began leaving, he immediately and miraculously offered a rate that was about half of what he had just quoted 5 seconds prior. Trying to gouge a 20-something-year-old single mother by unnecessarily doubling the interest rate is reprehensible and morally atrocious. He had the real rate the whole time, but tried to get over on a young woman. When the sales manager was tagged in to solidify the sales price, he kept talking fast and not answering the questions. He consistently kept trying to take us down a different discussion path than what we were asking. When I started computing the price, he literally took MY calculator away from me in the middle of my computation and tried to show me his own calculation in an attempt to steer me away from doing the actual comparison that I was computing. When I immediately took my calculator back (i.e., took my power back), he got an attitude because I wouldn't let him control things. When it came time to sign paperwork (because my niece did ultimately purchase the vehicle, even though I wouldn't have) the finance manager couldn't answer any of the questions. The only question he did provide a definitive response to was a total lie, which I caught him in with my follow-up question. Read everything before you sign it, because they play around with numbers and try to hide fees. After you pay, they will forget all about you and will not honor their commitments. They promised my niece that they would order a new battery for her. After she left, they said the price was too high and that they would only pay half for it. Ultimately, it didn't need a battery at all (which any competent mechanic could test for); it needed spark plugs and coils - which she was on the hook for replacing herself. They also promised her to program her replacement key. She had to drive up there 3 times before that was finally done. I'm only giving 1 star because I can't select 0 or negative. My son agreed to buy a truck once he had a dealership inspect it. These guys took 2,500 from him, had him sign all the paperwork and he drove the truck to a dealership for inspection. When the truck failed inspection and he told them he did not want it, they told him he already bought it because he signed the papers! The best part is they kept his $2,500 AND the truck. They refuse to discuss this or negotiate at all. I can't believe they can steal $2,500 from someone, keep the vehicle and just think they can do this shit. Next step is court, it will be for more than $2,500. read more

Beware of this place! Bought a truck from this place. Drove it home and the brakes were grinding. Pulled the tires off when we got home and the back brakes were shot. I had to put new brakes on it before I could drive it again. It was also extremely muddy underneath like it was taken out mud bogging. They charged $899 for dealer prep. I'm wondering what they actually did to prep the truck. What a bunch of scammers! read more
