While their James took my idea and turned it into something I could have never thought of, he worked through the piece and didn't waste time, gave breaks when needed. Definitely best bang for your Buck. I was so happy with the entire experience I decided to put another deposit down and book a follow up to continue working on my sleeve. As long as James is in Montana, I will continue to go back. I am so happy to have found my new tattoo artist. Also the shop owner was super cool, caring and very welcoming. We wanted to get tattoos on the day of the Pearl Jam show - something to commemorate our trip, friendship, the spirit of the land and life in general. After a ton of research, and both of us having an affection for bird symbolism, we chose a version of the Thunder Bird. Knowing that the day of the show would probably be crazy, I called 3 weeks ahead to schedule a time. The artist I wanted (and hoped she would oblige and was available, fingers crossed!) was Hanna (Baptiste) Mooreman. We totally hit it off on the phone and we were set. Side note: For me, it's important to have a vibe/or connection with the tattoo artist and shop - we totally did! I sent a collage of Thunder Bird inspiration and wanted her to draw something from that. I wanted her style to come through in the drawing. Our sessions went perfect. While Hanna finished up the art, we went through the formalities of getting the paperwork complete. I went first and then my buddy. And with that, we were off to the sweet buzz of her tattoo gun. Hanna's line and dot work is awesome! We are super happy with the way it turned out. For color, I went with turquoise and my buddy went with red. See photos! She got us out in under 2.5 hours. After an awesome weekend with best friends and having that new tattoo for the Pearl Jam show, was one of the best. Thanks to Hanna and BBG for helping make that happen! If you look closely, she also damaged her cuticles! My daughter kept asking for her to shape the nails and cut them to an active length, but she kept refusing saying she could not. When she walked in, she asked for them to be French tip with one accent nail for a wedding she will be attending! After the third hour, she told my daughter she was unable to put French tips on her nails. At the very end, of course wanted a tip on a $65 job! She took total advantage of a teenage girl! Now we need to pay to get them off and re-done! What a mess! I have truly seen nothing like it. Please do not go there!

A couple of years ago my sister visited, and she had beautiful eyebrows...not too thick and not too dark. They were very natural looking. Since I was planning a trip to Montana, I asked my sister if she could make an appointment with Dixie for me. I figured it would be ok since I was going to be in the area for about two weeks. Dixie was able to get me in on the day I arrived into town. She was so friendly and welcoming. My sister came along for moral support and could fit in the room with me. Dixie listened to what I wanted, and took her time with mapping out my eyebrows. She offered good suggestions on what might look good, but the decision was mine. She had several choices of colors to choose from. Again, I went with her opinion since she is the expert. took about an hour to complete my eyebrows. It hurt a bit, and made me want to sneeze at times! Dixie was good about not working too long in one area, she also used some numbing gel as well, so the pain was not bad. She gave me some ointment to apply a couple times a day to help with the healing. I went back right before I was leaving for home for a final touch up. Overall, I am SO happy with this decision, and to go with Dixie! She was very professional, and comfortable to be around. I would highly recommend checking her out if you are thinking about getting tattooed eyebrows!

From my previous experience of having my lashes done for two years at another place: burning is NOT normal!! I had to take a break from getting my lashes done because of inflammation of my eyes when I've gotten them done here. I convinced myself this was "due to something else" and gave Mix Salon the BENEFIT of the doubt. Months later I come back and it burns again; with yet another visit to the doctors office. Be careful. Parking sucks- horribly; though that's not something the place controls. It's not their fault they're located at a place that'll nearly guarantee you're late if you drive. So leave like, an hour early from your appointment. Pricing is very shady: the appointment app they use will hook you with "special offer deal", and randomly change your appointment time. By the time it's too late to cancel the promotion suddenly disappears and your card is charged the normal price! Difference of nearly $100 counting the tip they automatically charge. The owner Jen has been doing lashes for years: but she moved away and left the place to her associate. She "manages" from afar; while still being able to text you in a manner that's unprofessional. But that's just me. In summary: 1. Every single time it burns!! 2. Appointment booking is really shady. 3. Prices are "cheap" but end up sky high with automatic charging and automatic tip regardless of whether you think it's botched or not. 4. Owner moved away leaving the place to a girl with less experience. 5. Parking sucks. Leave an hour in advance. Or uber/public trans it. That's if you're willing to take the risk with the burning, eye inflammation, and wallet assault. We can all do better.

She has such a skill for making my lashes and spray tan look natural. Its perfect for my job as a personal trainer and a full-time nurse. People always compliment me on my lashes and say that I am glowing - its nice with my busy schedule to wake up in the morning and just feel beautiful without having to put any effort in. I usually tell people who compliment me that my tan and eyelashes are actually fake and they are shocked - they usually end up getting Jenny's contact information because she is just the best. The only thing to learn about fake eye lashes if it is your first time is to read about eyelash cycles. Be sure to take care of them - no oils on your face and you will be fine. Its the a way better investment than mascara. My last comment is on the ionic foot bath - i did it for the first time and didn't feel any different immediately after but the next day i slept 14 hours. no joke! if you know me you know that I never sleep - i am one of those 5 hours only OCD have to be doing something at all times type of people. the ionic foot bath left me feeling so rejuvenated the next day. so be sure that you are able to get some good rest the next day if you try it. cant wait to try it again and see if I see different results. xo
