We have been using BrightStar for a few weeks now for my family member's amputated toe. We have to call 3-4 times a day to see when they MIGHT be coming out, IF they send a nurse at all. Only ONE of the nurses sent had handled the medical equipment needed for my family member and the rest have stayed for hours troubleshooting the equipment and had me put gloves on and help finish the job correctly. I called twice and asked to speak to a manager about getting better service and no one ever called me back. It's like they don't have a calendar to list their clients, their needs, and which nurses would be the most equipped to handle the specific care we need. It's been an unequivocal nightmare when this process has been hard enough. Don't use this in-home care service. read more

I have been a client.for 19 years.and I have to have special medication. I have to have this or Ill be in pain a lot of pain. All I can say they have dropped the ball somewhere in the management Department.there are only two people that are helpful.one of them is a nurse.and the other works in the office.since 2025.I have had eight different nurse in this year. I think they should get their act together. Because clients will drop like flies. There are other companies out there that will care about the patient first and their medication. Clients need their medication. Clients need their medication. If they don't get their medication on time clients will have problems that can damage their lives. Back to the two people. That i spoke of you are the only ones that hold that company together. You should feel good about that. So no one takes your credit. Initials for the first one is p. And the next initials b. You should be thankful to have them. They hold everything together the chaos. So you are fortunate to have Them. i would have given a half a star. They need to make some adjustments. Soon. read more

Contrary to the older / dated reviews, my experience with BrightStar has been exceptionally good. Was able to get on their schedule for my first home infusion rapidly and have been successful with ease in maintaining the schedule for my monthly maintenance infusions. Most importantly, the capability and compassion of the in-home nurses has been incredible! Nurse Joann is a particular standout. Thanks BrightStar team! read more

Poor or non existent communication with customers. Poor management of nurses & customer scheduling. They need a manager there who is not a nurse! read more

Turnover by staff is absolutely terrible. My grandmother went through so many caregivers I lost track of how many she had. Worse than that though was the fact that items in the house started to go missing. She has never had anything stolen before and the only change was the bright star employees being in the house. Items that went missing: a $1300 neckless, $300 cash, phone chargers, williams sonoma kitchen towels that were a gift from me, her steak knives, and a few other household items. Ownership did not care and defended the workers saying it couldn't be proven and they made no effort to reimburse for the losses even though they are insured against this happening. I wouldn't refer them to my worst enemy. read more
