We all love the staff and the food and all that Livia has offered Mom over these last 2 stays. Today we had her welcome meal coming into the AL side and let me tell you I felt like we were on an episode of Below Deck East Hanover addition. The chef brought one dish at a time and presented it to us with what he was serving and the food was amazing. The food always is absolutely amazing. Mom says she is eating so well that she has no room For food in between each meal. The whole building is so clean. Very happy with Livia.

My father was left in wet diapers all day wetting through clothes before he was change. He developed sores from sitting in wet diapers, had a changing schedule added to his medical chart and still wasn't change during the day. When my dad buzzed and aid to be changed they told him they were busy with something else and could not change him. I complained multiple times and nothing changed. Additionally my dad was left in bed until 9:30-10am most days...with his breakfast sitting and getting cold when they finally came in to get him up. How they can justify leaving a 90 year old that was there for a UTI in wet diapers all day is just insane.

And they do not take care of their staff or treat them with respect which is Unfortunate! It's a lovely place that doesn't feel like an assisted living facility (it feels more like an upscale hotel or a country club but does feel homey) and is well-maintained and clean. Like many elderly folks I suspect, my dad didn't want to leave his home. He decided to give your Community a try because the isolation, boredom and loneliness brought on by Covid was very hard for him. He was beginning to decline and get depressed. Three days after dad moved into The Cliffs though, he began telling jokes again. His usual happy demeanor returned. He was participating and enjoying all of the activities, but mostly he began to fall in love with a place filled with warm and welcoming people. Within two weeks he asked me to sell the house he had lived in for 50 plus years. He didn't even feel the need to return to it. He said he "was happier than he ever imagined he could be, with his new home and family." I will never find the words to adequately express what that meant to me as a daughter... My dad passed away peacefully last month. He had lost his ability to speak. He slept almost all of the time. And yet, whenever someone entered the room he opened his eyes and greeted them with a huge joy filled smile. He did that until the very end. You all gave him that. The unbelievably dedicated Caregivers kept him comfortable and happy during his time with you... The amazing residents laughed with him when he told his jokes and said hello to him as they passed him in the halls. Others prayed with him. Some of you didn't even speak, but patted him on the arm knowingly while he slept in the Great Room. I don't think I will ever stop missing the man that I loved so deeply all of my life. A man whose happiness I wanted to assure until he took his very last breath. With that, I will always be thankful for the small part I played in finding your "Village"... This very special place, for him to spend the end of his life's journey feeling loved. With that, I will always be grateful to God, and I will always be grateful to you. Thank you for Blessing my beloved father, and Thank you for Blessing me.

My mother was a resident until she passed away at 89. The administration, staff, nurses, and aides…read moreare wonderful. It is a lovely facility; the grounds are spacious with walking paths, two gazebos, a patio, and a courtyard. The main floor has small cozy seating areas off the great room (which is lovely for visiting), a library, activities room, and a media room with the TV (most facilities we visited had a TV on all day on the first floor.) Their "beverage and snacks area" is actually a small dining area and kitchen, which was also terrific when we visited. Activities my mother enjoyed: performers who came a few times a week (especially singalongs); Ted Talk and discussion groups; arts & crafts; and physical therapy (because it was in a very nice room with floor to ceiling windows with a nice outside view). And we all loved the holiday "events", especially at Christmas. I highly recommend The Cliffs at Eagle Rock.

The building and surroundings are absolutely stunning. Not at all like the cold hospital atmosphere of most other assisted living facilities we visited. It is more like a grand, ornate mansion for the wealth. My mom like being there so much that she said she should have moved there a long time ago. It was like always being on vacation. She absolutely loved the place. The staff made extra effort to make sure she was well cared for. She loved all of them and you could tell they loved her too. When she first moved in she had to be hospitalized for pneumonia and Nicole became her advocate using her contacts to make sure she was getting proper care. My mom thought the food was terrific. I know it's very subjective but she did gain about 25 pounds while she was there. If she didn't like what was on the menu they would make here something she liked. She was especially fond of the deserts. There was always something going on. She loved bingo, exercise with Norma , chair yoga, art, and dancing at cocktail hour. I told Nicol to save a room for me when its my time.

I want to extend my sincere gratitude for the exemplary care which you provided to my dad during…read morehis recent 40 day rehabilitation stay at Regency Grande in Dover. Though it is not a new building it is very well maintained and spotlessly clean. Most importantly the clinical team is well staffed and every member provided enthusiastic, supportive and compassionate care. The food is plentiful, varied and tasty - none of that bland hospital food here. As an example of the level of compassionate care, at each mealtime during which mom was visiting dad, a meal was provided for her too! Dad had a 90 minute physical therapy and a 90 minute occupational therapy session 5 days per week. The therapists were cheerful and professional. Credit to the team for helping dad to go from being unable to stand on his own at admission to being able to ambulate to the car on his own as he went home. Special thanks to the team of health aides who helped dad with the day to day. Unfailingly cheerful and attentive, this team enabled dad to recover to the best shape he's been in over a year. Lastly, thanks to the social worker and case management team for setting up discharge and home services. They were very accessible to us and patiently explained the plans and the process (more than once), leaving no stone unturned to ensure a smooth transition home. I was apprehensive about bringing dad to any rehab center, concerned about the quality of the facility and care. I am pleased to say that Regency Grande exceeded my expectations in every way and provided outstanding care. Thank you!

Wound care is absolutely horrible, almost criminal. Because of the lack of proper care my Dad…read morewound up needing a Colostomy because they left him for hours in a dirty diaper with an open wound on his lower back. There were employees secretly advising us to get him out of there which we did but the damage had been done. He suffered for months after before my sisters and I were able to get his wound just about healed. DO NOT go there if you or loved one has a wound or bed sore.
