I noticed my monthly fee still was being charged then I was charged a yearly fee -I know nothing about !! When I called to cancel again I was told I had to go in in person which I did !!! They still did not cancel!! So I had called - written and visited personally but still they refused to cancel !! I spoke to a manager who agreed to cancel and refund my monthly charge but not my yearly because he said when I was fit enough I could come back - that's my decision not his !! When I insisted on my money back he claimed he had no notice of me canceling which is a blatant lie - he was fully aware of my situation I took a sick note - a doctors note and a copy of my cancellation letter !! They are happy to take your money but if you try and cancel good luck !! They make it virtually impossible!! Bad customer service

Drove in to the gym (Planet Fitness) Tuesday Jan 7th 4:30 AM in Crossville TN along with 30 other…read moregym members (I witnessed coming and going as I waited for the gym to reopen for 2 hours) to be welcomed to see a sign on the door that read we are closed do to road conditions (30 gym members drove in with no issues at all from all parts of the county) the sign reading "Pay Attention to text blast for reopening". I never received a TXT blast that they were closed, (their site reading they are open). If you were an owner or responsible manager of a business that relies on a daily income to support your overhead you would personally be there to open and support your patrons. Yes, you shouldn't require your employees to accept risk, that's why you have a commitment as a owner or manager and placed in a position of responsibility to support your patrons. Your patrons that have driven in to complete their daily therapy are upset and deserve a formal apology, and a solution as to how this will not continue to happen in the future. As a recently retired RN, I decided it was time to invest in taking better care of myself and the payoff has been extraordinary. Cat set me up w/ a wellness tracking log that included step counts, journaling/mediation, 30 min cardio, sleep quality, fiber/protein etc. Since I live in California, we met regularly via Zoom for check in sessions, assistance w/ strength training, and motivational counseling. I am proud to say, I feel stronger and healthier than I have in 10 years, lost 20 plus pounds over the last 6 months...AND...have continued the path towards wellness by now having her techniques seamlessly incorporate into my everyday routine. Those who pay to take classes take precedence apparently. Don't pay $50 a month to go here. There are much nicer gyms in the area for the same price that don't have huge guided work out classes taking up half of the gym and equipment. Literally had an instructor steal the bench I was using and say she'd give it back in 30 minutes. All of that BS on top of the horrible parking situation where you'll pay $50 a month to get parking tickets, disgusting locker rooms, constant early closures and broken equipment. The only nice thing about this gym is the friends I've made.
