We moved to this area close to 2 years ago and joined WOAT. It feels safe and comfortable with a variety of equipment. I find there is enough equipment to accomplished my goals with limited wait time. I signed up for a personal trainer and haven't looked back. Amber P. Is such an asset to the club! She not only is full of energy she has a grasp of what each individual requires to meet their fitness goals. She pushing me beyond what I thought I could accomplished day in and day out. She's personable and makes sure to say hello when we aren't scheduled. I have a 'fun' time each workout and feel I've truly worked out when she trains me. Since Crossville is such a small community- I can't even explain my experience without getting some backlash from the "manager". The employees were all very helpful & friendly - but the lady with brown hair & glasses, who I assume is the manager, is absolutely the rudest person I've come across for a while. This review is NOT a reflection of the employees nor their fault. I went in to contract with Workout anytime many years ago and got the premium membership so I could use Tanning beds and Hydro massage, but Owners decided to change the working hours so there's no one there to operate the tanning beds. I'm there every morning at 7:30 am and would use the tanning bed around 8:30 after working out but now I can't. Not my doing, but Owners doing. If that's the case, I'm I going to get a refund ???? And to drop my membership I to the regular I would have to pay $45 for a new contract. I didn't change anything, Workout anytime did, so why should I have to pay !! Also, the equipment is old and in need of repairs, Tricep rope is in so bad shape that is Dangerous at this point to use. So is a lot of the other equipment. Dropping the membership after 5 1/2 years. This GYM has become the GHETTO GYM in Crossville. Don't waist your time or money at this place, they will do NOTHING to make it better or fix the problems they already have. Better and lower priced options are available around town. You will NOT have a problem finding something better because at this point , everything else is !!!! Was a member when the gym first opened in 2017. Had good management and Ej and Jerry came around more then. It was nice and clean with good employees. Fast forward to 2022, the owners never are in town. Not very good management and it isn't clean like it used to be. Staff are usually sitting at the front desk on their phone or socializing with other coworkers. 9-26-22 there was a protein shake spill on the incline bench press area. As of 10-3-22 it's still there. If you don't want to work out in a dirty gym, go somewhere else. read more

I worked out at this gym since it first opened until March of this year. Due to not feeling safe, I canceled my membership.

Service was mediocre, I originally joined this gym to work with a nutritionist/personal trainer the gym in crossville would not work with my schedule as I am a pediatric scrub nurse after many missed appointments scheduled only during my working hours I finally called cookeville location and they were able to get me in same day and work around my schedule to have a personal trainer to meet me. Use the cookeville location if you have a tight schedule they are the absolute best in customer service and getting you taken care of read more

This facility is perfect. I am visiting from out of town and called this gym on a snowy Saturday to see if they take drop ins. Daniel answered the phone and hooked me up with a week pass. The next day (Sunday) Luke the gym manager was very happy to welcome me in to lift. Gym is very clean with a variety of equipment to use. Dumbbells go up to 100ibs, one squat rack, one smith machine. **BEWARE** may be a long read but if it saves 1 person it's worth the read. I was one of the founding members of WOAT Crossville. I had an account in good standing for nearly 6 years. I had access to everything, the gym itself, tanning, group activities, etc. In May of 2023 I updated my card on file for billing. I went up there in person, handed my card to the, at the time, main gym manager. She physically scanned my card in and the charge subsequently went through. No issues. I had been having issues with an injury so I hadn't attended the gym in months. I had minor surgery in November of 2023 and after my surgery I was well prepared to hit it hard and go back. Before I could do that I got a notification from my credit file, I had a collection account from WOAT for upwards of $300. Needless to say I was livid. I had received 0 communication from them, no phone call, piece of mail, anything. I reached out to management AND ownership and they still refuse to return my calls or messages. The reasoning for it is unclear to me, as my card on file was correct and active. The only conclusion I can come to is that someone had nefarious intentions. read more

I did'nt appreciacite the front desk person, don't know his name, he is thin, straight across bangs for his haircut and was very rude to me. In the first tanning room I have been in there had the timer set for 5 min. and it cuts off after 3 min. and then darkens and blows air the rest of the time. It could be a short in the system. When I told him what had happening he started asking him questions as if I did'nt know how to use it, and It was in a belittling manner and when I continued he got ruder saying, "That is not what you said!" The young lady apologed for him and told I'm the only one experiencing this in the tanning room. No big deal, I can do in twice. In the four years I've going there this the first time anyone from the staff was rude to me. Maybe he does'nt like women?? Then picked the guy I was talking to to start a conversation with, on the bikes. Ignoring me. I don't think he knows he is rude. But, he is dealing with the public and needs to be pleasant. The general atmosphere is very pleasant. The members appear to be of diverse ages and levels of fitness, which shows there is something for everyone at this location. My wife enjoys the cardio machines, my teenage son enjoys the free weights, and I have found a range of machines that work well for me.The equipment is always clean and in good working order. The staff is always helpful and pleasant. If you're serious about your physical health, you will also enjoy the benefits of what is offered 24 hours 7 days a week. read more

It's always overcrowded. It's a small facility with limited equipment. The staff is nice . You can't really get a decent workout in because there's no space and there's always two or three people on the machines you need to use. No variety in machines either. It's really basic.
