I gave them the code and they quoted me $15,000 to do what I wanted -- half upfront and half at the end. I paid, they started. The basic, easy things were done quickly and well. But they did not take the time to understand my project, and so they consistently were unable to complete the project. The 2 month project has now stretched more than a year, and even though they continue to assure me that they would never let me down, they are clearly no longer working on it. If your project is very simple, they might be ok. But if there is any complexity at all, forget it. They will try but if it's too hard they will abandon the project. Their billing team made an error TWO years ago, caught the issue a year ago (one month support not paid due to us switching bank accounts at one of our locations and Aldelo not picking up on the new account fast enough), forced us to WIRE!! under $100 dollars (as opposed to just taking a cc payment over the phone or any other convenient method of payment) only to suspend functionality of the software AGAIN exactly a year later for the same tiny amount that was settled 366 days ago. Calls for resolution have resulted in apologies followed by that even in "escalated mode" resolution of the issue might take several business days. So let me get this straight: Aldelo makes a mistake, we correct it over a year ago, now we're "punished" for their mistake AGAIN, and are told it will take several days for a resolution?? Simply unacceptable. Never mind the poor tech support, long hold times, dismal software integrity, and frequently needed reboots. Look elsewhere for restaurant/food service software! Caveat emptor.
