For a wine bar, I expected a slightly more elevated experience…read more I like that there was outdoor seating (It was a beautiful day when we visited), however there was no one to tell us whether to seat ourselves or wait to be seated. I was waiting for my friend to arrive and countless times the staff walked past me without a word or a glance: no greeting, no invitation to see myself, not even asking if I needed help...nothing. Just incredibly unwelcoming. If I hadn't made such a significant time investment trying to secure a parking space, I would have left immediately. After my friend arrived, we flagged down one of the servers who told us that we could seat ourselves outside. We did so and ordered a round of cocktails: an Aperol Spritz for me and Air Mail for my friend, along with a charcuterie board. The seating outside was picnic benches with chipped paint. Our charcuterie board arrived long before our drinks did. We were half done with the board by the time the drinks arrived. The charcuterie board was delivered with no plates and only one napkin for two people. Additionally, because there were no plates, a significant amount of our charcuterie board ended up on the picnic table. The board had lots of items on it and it was very difficult to remove an item or slice some cheese without something else sliding off. The cocktails were decent. Not the best we've had, but also not the worst. They were inconsistent though. The first two I had were much better than the last one, which tasted distinctly different. When we decided to get food, I ordered the chicken schnitzel sandwich while my friend got the Cubano sandwich. In most places, when you order a sandwich, fries are included. Not here. But at least my sandwich was served on an aluminum tray. My friend received her sandwich wrapped in paper. No plate; Just wrapped up like it was to-go. Since no fries were included with her sandwich she ordered a side of the chili cheese fries instead. She ate a few of them but I could tell by her face (and the fact that the bowl remained largely untouched after those few initial fries) that they were not good. My sandwich was okay. Just ok. It arrived warm, not hot, so I'm not sure if it was freshly made. Flavor-wise it was a little bland. I think it probably would have been better served just as schnitzel and not as a sandwich. For dessert, I ordered one of their oversized chocolate chip cookies. Again, it was just not good. Chocolate chip cookies are fairly hard to mess up but this one was just... Bad. It had more of a cake-like consistency... And not even very good cake. I took one bite and that was one too many. Between the difficulty finding parking, the general aloofness of the staff, and the terrible food... I'd recommend passing on this place.

Cool place; chill vibes, great food; excellent service…read more Burger is great. Be sure to get the double patties for the full effect. Kale salad is good but a little over dressed and salty, in my opinion. Be mindful there's not a lot of parking spaces. You'll find free street parking if you just drive around a bit, but it does require a brief walk in a hilly neighborhood. Nom nom nom!

He was awesome all around, please give this man a big fat raise. The place was super loud but if you II sit away from the bar (ex. Inside/outside) you can still have a great time. Went on a Thursday with a 9:45 reservation and did not get seated until 10. Do with that what you wish. Regardless the hostess was very nice! Food was amazing and very quick service with both drinks and tapas. Next time I go I will be trying some more tapas because everything u had was amazing. Perfect place for a social scene, I would not say first date vibes only cause it's blaring loud. But blaring loud with chatter because the place host the best vibes and environment. Will be back. Barcelona was okay but has room for improvement…read more I checked out the menu and other Yelp reviews before visiting. Many of the reviews mentioned the loud music, tightly packed tables, and lukewarm food, which is exactly what I experienced. I don't want to feel like I'm in a club, watch servers barely squeak by my table, or eat room temp food. We visited on Sunday night for a 6 PM reservation. The place was busy but not full, and got a little busier by the time we left around 7:15 PM. There was a small line at the host stand, but people were quickly seated. The host initially took us to a two-top next to a four-top that had a baby in a high chair and some kids books/toys nudging into our table space. We politely asked for a different table, which the host accommodated, but we shouldn't have to ask; they should give guests more space proactively. Our waiter was not particularly friendly or helpful. He asked us about allergies, but did not offer to explain the menu, make recommendations, or anything else. I overheard the waiter at the table next to us telling his table all about the menu and warning them to order any large dishes early, because they can take up to 45 minutes to prepare. We got no such advice; thankfully, we didn't plan to get any large dishes. I do appreciate that the food pacing was pretty good, all the dishes came out quickly and were cleared quickly, and our waiter offered us another piece of bread later (for a dish that only came with one piece and should have come with two...). We got a pitcher of red sangria ($38) which was 4 glasses worth. The sangria tasted fine but was very generic; nothing special, not much fruit, lots of ice. The server who poured it for us did it in a very noisy, distracting way -- shaking it a lot to get the ice to settle, struggling to balance the amount of ice in each glass, spilling some ice on the floor. It was unpleasant and almost comical. We tried eight different tapas dishes: Eggplant Caponata ($7.5), Rainbow Carrots ($8.5), Whipped Sheep's Cheese ($8.5), Cauliflower ($9.5), Grilled Chicken Thigh ($10.5), Bacon-Wrapped Dates ($8.5), Jamon and Manchego Croquetas ($7.5, four pieces), and Lamb Merguez ($10.5). Everything was pretty good. The best dishes were the Sheep's Cheese and Chicken Thigh. The cheese was a nice portion and worked well with the honey. It only came with one piece of bread and should have come with two. Also, although the bread had grill marks on it, it was not warm at all, barely room temperature. The chicken was excellent all around -- tender, salty, spicy, with a very nice green sauce. All the other dishes were ok but had room to improve. The croquetas -- which I love in any form -- had a nice, crunchy exterior and a soft interior that reminded me of mashed potatoes. I wouldn't say they tasted particularly like jamon and manchego, though. The bacon-wrapped dates -- also a favorite dish -- were fine if a bit sweet; the blue cheese on the plate cut this a bit, but I wanted more flavor from the bacon, which was lost against the sweetness of the date. The carrots looked pretty but had different levels of doneness -- some softer or harder than others -- and I wanted more flavor from the sauce. The lamb merguez came with fava hummus and both tasted bland. The eggplant did not have a uniform heat level -- some pieces hot, some room temp -- and I disliked the sauce, which reminded me of sweet BBQ sauce in a negative way. The cauliflower was underwhelming; the sauce needed to be punchier and the dish needed another ingredient, like a few crunchy nuts. I would like to see the restaurant turn down the music, give diners more space, and tweak many of the dishes. It was an okay meal but I wouldn't return.

Little Blackbird is phenomenal!…read more I've been here a few times and have never been disappointed. Great service from super friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable staff. A large wine list that they know back to front and can recommend wines from based on your food choices and personal tastes. An elegant but not ostentatious interior. But first and foremost, incredible food. There have been a few items I was unsure of when reading the descriptions, but I have always been blown away by the thoughtfulness and balance that comes with each or their dishes. Of note, their seared scallops that came with a savory and sweet white chocolate sauce were one of my favorite dishes of 2025. Not to mention, the prices here are reasonable and not unnecessarily inflated like other places that market themselves as wine bars. I hope the success here signals a shift in the wine bar model toward unpretentious but thoughtfully designed dishes for a reasonable price. Overall, Little Blackbird is an incredible restaurant that I think deserves more recognition. I will certainly be back soon.

The pork chop was surprisingly so good with its caramelisation, side fruit and veggies, and sauce. I loved the gingerbread martini with the cookie and whipped cream drink itself. Baklava was apparently alcoholic and tasted good. The vibes here were pretty chill but also somewhat nice - they had some winter decor up too when I went. I'd definitely come again to try some of their other stuff and maybe their fun wine pairings!

M-F until 7, you can get incredible deals. You can get chicken or BLT sliders for $3.50 apiece, and reduced priced stuffed mushrooms, too. The $5 whipped feta comes with a big side of potato chips. These are small bites, but for very small prices. Food specials on a happy hour menu always get me excited. The chicken sliders were the consensus fave and will definitely be our go to. The drink deals are even better, though. I had a delicious old fashioned for just $7, and for round 2, the preparadas up is amazing. It is a bright red draft milk punch that is a little sweet, a little tart, with gin, lime, a touch of spice, and a sour candy garnish. Very fun, but very delicious, too. And it packs a punch. Plenty of other options are discounted, too. If you are reading this during the government shutdown, they have additional shutdown deals (available for everyone, all day), so it's almost like all day happy hour. Don't miss it!
