My friend and I decided to get spa pedicures together five days ago. She was not given the same treatment as I was. The leg massage for her was the front shins only, and they didn't use any moisturizer on her feet! We had a scheduled appointment, and her tech was late arriving to work and she sat trying to regulate the water temp herself as it started off much to hot and the correction was too cold... So she had to do the adjustments herself until the tech arrived over five minutes later. My experience was much more what you would expect from a spa pedicure, but now, five days later, two nails on one foot are peeling off from my GEL pedicure which was an extra $15! We will not be returning. Very disappointed. To top it off, this was the second most expensive pedicure I've ever had. read more

I came here for the first time today for a mani/pedi and felt compelled to write this review when I took a shower and felt how truly smooth and soft my feet feel. This was one of the most thorough pedicures I've ever had and I don't think my feet have ever felt this smooth. Cindy really took her time with both the cutting/filing/scrubbing parts and also the more relaxing/massage parts. She also did a wonderful job shaping my finger nails. I was able to get in last minute on a Saturday before a wedding and got a full gel set. One woman started the process and then another took over. As she was putting the acrylic on I got concerned because she was very sloppy. I had to ask her to reshape a few into true coffin because she had overfilled the shape the previous woman had cut out of the fake nail that was applied. I asked for silver glitter ombré and the other woman had to teach her how to do it. It's now Thursday, day 6 of me having them done, and 6 of the nails edges are already lifting and the acrylic broke off of one of them already. The lady who did my nails was very sloppy, and even filed my nails AFTER she put the last layers of polish on my nails. Less than 4 hours later, my nail that she filed peeled after washings my hands. Recommend making appointments either in person or on the phone for times when limited in ability to wait - because they do take care to honor appointments taken in their book when one walks in and asks for service. Kudos for that! (I don't like when other salons say they're free, sit you in a chair, and leave you there soaking forever while they take on other customers that appeared out of thin air.) They're right next to PureBread, and there's a pizza place a few doors down. Can plan on nails and lunch in any order, stopping first at nails to check on wait time. I came here for a mani/pedi one nice Saturday afternoon. When I walked in, the place was dead, although they told me it was packed earlier that day. They do have a large collection of nail polish; however, I still had trouble finding the colors I wanted. The decor is quite nice, and they had really nice pedicure chairs- and even ones for children! However, the manicure tables were a bit awkward and not wide enough, and the drying table was also a little awkward. The one woman who did my nails wasn't particularly friendly, although she did attempt to make conversation a few times. The other employees sat around eating or texting, and some of their children were at work hanging around and playing. It was a little awkward, but perhaps it's because it was just a slow time. My pedicure went well- I liked the color and the process. It felt like she was a little sloppy on my manicure, and it started chipping after about 2 days, so I had to take it off pretty quickly. However, the pedicure is lasting for a long time. Overall, the mani/pedi was moderately priced, and this place is in a convenient location. However, I'm not specifically planning to come back again. read more

Just moved to the area and came here for a gel manicure & pedicure. Everyone on staff was very friendly upon my arrival and were patient as I tend to agonize over my polish colors (seriously, it's not that big of a decision but it takes me forever). I didn't feel rushed, as I often do at other places. Nuon (forgive me for the spelling if it's incorrect!) was my nail technician and she was wonderful all around. She offered me a glass of wine or mimosa (UM, YES PLEASE!) which I enjoyed while relaxing in the pedicure chair. She also gave me the most amazing calf massage ever during my pedi! She was very neat and careful with the polish as well - was very pleased with how they turned out! My nails still look great 2 weeks later and I plan to return again this week only because they've grown out - otherwise they are still perfect. Highly recommend!!! Came in around 2:30 Sunday for a full set. Got sat immediately and received one of the best acrylic jobs EVER! She worked meticulously filing the nail shape. She took her time with the brush to lay the acrylic perfectly and they are so even and sleek. I came to her with an idea for the design and she even drew it out for me on paper to clarify what I wanted. They aren't bulbous at all and I've gotten so many complements! Best part: $40. One nail looks ridiculous and she says oh I will make sure next time I make it wider !! So I guess she couldn't fix it this time ????? Also didn't cut my cuticles and when I asked her why she said I would have to ask for that . I have been getting my nails done for 30 years and I have never had someone tell me that . First thought was ok this is a nice, clean place and the people were friendly. I actually thought I may have found the perfect nail salon, but after getting my nails done I had a change of thought. I got a gray color gel polish and after 1 day it started peeling off a couple of nails, so I went back. When I went back they gave me no trouble, they just fixed them with no problems. The lady told me it depends on the Polish and that sometimes it peels off. I'm not sure how true that is, but ok. So I leave a somewhat happy customer until 2 days later they start to pill again. This time I didn't bother going back I just went somewhere else. My whole gripe is about the fact that gel polish there is $30 and for it to not last even a week is crazy. I was also upset that the lady doing my nails asks another lady do I charge her for her nails when I returning for a problem that wasn't even my fault, so of course you not suppose to charge me and I gave her a tip twice. I was greeted by Nang, who was both pleasant and friendly. She got me set up in a massage chair with a glass of wine and began the most wonderful pedicure that included a calf massage. When finished we went to her nail station. I have never had a SNS manicure before so I decided to try it. My nails have never looked as good as they do now!!! This is one of the worst experienced I have ever had getting nails done. You would think, going into a very clean salon, in a nice shopping center you would only get the best. Well that couldn't be more wrong. I went in for a refill and gel polish and a toe polish color change. There was no wait and I was taken immediately. They charged me $15 for a toe polish change where they promised that the color gel I picked was the same color as the gel polish for my nails. It doesn't match. NOT THAT IT MATTERS NOW!!! after 55 mins in the chair for a refill and polish, and 4 coats, not even 24 hours later I have no polish on two nails. I have an interview at 10 am and now I am going with polish on 2 nails. This is ridiculous. I will be getting my money back! There is a reason I don't change salons. I've been driving 30 minutes to go this place as it's the only nail salon in my area that does SNS nails. It's quite frustrating because the drive is so long, the place is quite pricey, and the nail techs don't seem to pay attention to detail...they can also be quite rough on your nails.... Seems to me that they care mostly about finishing your nails than about the care of your nails. I of course will keep going until I can find another place in my area that can get my SNS done. Good things are that the place is quite clean! They offer mimosas and wine if you ask. They're open on Sunday and they have plenty of SNS colors. I'm just going to try a different nail tech next time until I land on the right one or find a different place. read more

I got my nails done at Brinton lake yesterday before I was going into work, I work at a full service salon where they do nails. I don't usually write reviews but this I could not just let go. I waited for 20 minutes and when I was finally seen the girl rushes through my nails so fast, she was not thorough at all, she did not listen to the shape or length of my nail either. The nail polish looked curdled, no chunky but wrinkly. It was not smoothing out, so I nicely asked her if that normal. She assured me it was and proceeded to paint, it was super thick and stuck to my skin around and under my nail. I was so unhappy, it's not cheap either! I had to get them taken off as soon as I got to work. I won't be going back to get my nails done there. I'm sorry I paid. read more

I have been to Brinton Lake Nails about 10 or so times now and I would say that 5 of the times were a great experience but the other 5 not so much. A few of those times, I brought my daughter, which is great because they have the children's pedicure chairs and even iPads for the kids to play on! I always get a gel manicure and sometimes a pedicure too. The pedicure is fine, but nothing special compared to other salons. The manicures however are really hit or miss. I'm not sure if it just depends on which person you get or what. I will say that 2 of the worst times I went, it was the same tech. She was extremely young and seemed to just hurry the job. Normally a gel manicure lasts me a solid 2 weeks but both times she did it, they only lasted 2 DAYS. The place is extremely clean and they are always very friendly, however I don't think I will be spending anymore money there. It is just not worth it to have gels peel and chip within 2 days. read more

This is my first ever review. I am a mom of two young kids so this is the first time I've gotten my nails done in over a year. The gentleman who did my mani/pedi seemed very inexperienced, I had to ask for typical things that normally occur such as buffing away dead skin on feet etc. Fine, he may be new. However, when I was drying my nails with their "fan table" I lifted my hands out and burned my hand badly by the exposed UV lightbulbs. (I mean blisters on my fingers type burn) . I told the female manager and her response was, "yes they're really hot when it's turned on." I checked and they automatically turn on when the fan is on. Meaning, unless I walk out of there without drying my nails, I can be badly burned by simply using their nail drying fan. No thanks. Not going back. I never feel rushed, even though I take "forever" choosing my color ~ I have never seen so many choices! They always offer something to drink, even mimosas and they have chargers available if you so choose to charge your phone. I make my appointment for my pedi and gel manicure with Sam (Love her!), but would feel comfortable with any of the woman there if Sam was off or on vacation.
