What a wonderful find! In an area that seems like a food desert, this is an oasis in Brisbane. I hopped over here for lunch during a workday and my coworker and I ate a fish sandwich and I had the BLT BLT. Service is friendly and we got our food while relaxing in the sun on one of the tables. My BLT was so well put together and neat. The bacon was a good portion and I loved the tomato jam that was the icing on this cake. I took a bite of the fish sandwich and it was delicious as well. Omg finally!! I've been driving past this sandwich truck in Brisbane for years always saying I'd try it one day--and I finally did. Totally worth the wait! I ordered their signature sandwich and it was absolutely delicious--fresh, flavorful, and super satisfying. The chicken is made to order so it does like 10-15 minutes to make, so if you are in a rush, it's best to call ahead and place your order. It was a sunny day out in Brisbane so I didn't mind the wait. I initially go it to-go but ended up just eating it in my car because anything fried is best eaten right away. Love that they use thigh meat for their chicken sandwich. The chicken was juicy and flavorful, with their slaw adding a nice acidity to it. I do wish the bun was slightly more toasted, and if I did it bring it home, I would've added a little bit of mayo (i'm addicted to kewpie mayo at the moment, I put it on everything lol) I saw that the recently had to increase prices, but honestly, for what meals cost nowadays, it's still a very affordable and flavorful meal. With rising labor and product costs, it's inevitable that businesses have to do this, and I'm glad at Brisbane Lunch Truck the increase was reasonable and fair. The chicken sandwich was $16.50 and it comes with their delicious umami chips. It was enough food for a single meal and I was pretty full. They have plenty of parking spots. And if you are driving up, drive slow or you might miss the first lot entrance. They have a designated seating area with picnic tables, so you are able to eat there, especially if it's a pretty day out. If you haven't visited, this is definitely one of those spots that you have to know it's there but it's worth checking out IMO. read more

Fully equipped with picnic tables and a private parking lot, you can either enjoy your food there or take it to-go. A friend of mine picked me up from the airport around lunch time and we grabbed lunch here on the way home. We'll talk about motivational in the new year, apparently one of my family members got hold of my draft review and posted it for me including their gibberish since they haven't learned to type yet... Here is the review I planned to post: I've heard about the Brisbane Lunch Truck a while ago, but hadn't gotten around to trying it. I generally don't eat fried food so the main dish I was interested in, teriyaki chicken, was only available as part of a bento set on weekends. It was the perfect blend of ingredients for me. A nice savory entree in the chicken teriyaki paired with yam, pickled vegetables, and tamago. It made me an instant fan of their truck and a return customer in the making. There was also another item, the west coast pollack, which I was intrigued by too, but since I'm 50/50 on fish wouldn't have ordered without my spouse's urging. It was so flavorful and tender, to the point that I even said I'd return on a weekday when the bento box is not an option just for this item. Everything tasted homemade too so you could feel the love that went into making each bite. This small truck is small but mighty and a nice addition to the area's food scene. Their deep fryer broke RIGHT before we ordered so we weren't able to try the chicken sandwich. I have a sneaking suspicion this would've been a 5-star if we had been able to order that along with the fish sandwich as the latter was delicious. I have been let down so many times by overpriced food trucks that lacked flavor but this one is different. You can taste the quality and love they put in the food. I forgot the exact name of the sandwich but it's the only one on the menu I believe. It was packed with flavor and the bun was warm and soft but firm enough for the sandwich. It was delectable. This is a true hidden gem! I stumbled upon this cute red truck after walking my dog on a nearby trail, looked it up, saw the great reviews and now I'm a regular.
