Laid back (With my mind on chicken and chicken on my mind)... 5/5 Great customer service from Cindy as soon as I walked up she was waving and smiling. That just warmed my heart after working. 5/5 Arnold Palmer ($4) was great tasting! It really was a delightful blend of the Citrusade and Hojicha. It was very refreshing and went along great with the Yokohama Chicken Sandwich. 5/5 Chicken Sandwich ($17) delicious! Hints of wasabi in the mayo, garlic and ginger flavors on the chicken and sesame slaw gives it an abundance of flavors. 5/5 Parking no issues here lots of parking. I'd be rolling down the street if I'm nearby to grab another bite from Cindy and this spot! God bless

Omg finally!! I've been driving past this sandwich truck in Brisbane for years always saying I'd try it one day--and I finally did. Totally worth the wait! I ordered their signature sandwich and it was absolutely delicious--fresh, flavorful, and super satisfying. The pricing was totally reasonable, and I loved that there's plenty of parking and outdoor seating too. The whole vibe was super relaxed and family- and dog-friendly, which made the experience even better. Safe to say I'll definitely be back (and kicking myself for not trying it sooner)!

While looking for lunch in the area, I found this food truck in Brisbane right outside of San Francisco and near the 101 freeway. There are a couple parking spots available and they have picnic tables set up for you to enjoy your meal. The menu includes burgers, sandwiches, and bento boxes. American food with Japanese influences. I decided to try the Yokohama Chicken Bites Bento. The chicken comes with rice and side dishes of veggies. The chicken was juicy and crispy with delicious flavor. The portions were solid and it was an overall enjoyable meal for lunch!

Came around 1:00PM on a Saturday and there were plenty of open seating available. Convenient parking spots right outside. Quaint spot when it's a sunny day out, otherwise the wind will probably blow your food away. They frowned at us because we brought in outside drinks. They said they'll let it slide this time. West Coast Fish Sandwich ($17) - Flaky but overpowered by the slaw. The fish was barely visible compared to the massive, dry bread. Homemade chips were good but extra oily. It came with a cute little cookie. Yokohama Chicken Bites Bento Box ($16.50) - Chicken was so juicy and moist. The batter was crisp and the veggies tied everything together nicely.

At the corner of bayshore and tunnel ave. This is where you can find the best Yokohama fried chicken sandwich $17. Included homemade umami chips. Citrusade drink ~ mix of lemon, lime and orange juice $4. Refreshing taste. Fried chicken is lightly battered, moist thigh piece , ginger & garlic marinated with sesame slaws. Umami chips~crispy and perfectly season. Staffs is super friendly and quick service. Staff checks in on you with out being a nuisance. They acknowledge me as I leave. Open their order window to say goodbye and thank me. It's the small gesture that makes my day. Thank you for such a sweet and attentive service. Great 80's music playing. Clean and nice picnic tables area in front of Caltrain tracks. Portable handwashing station. Open tues-sat 11-4pm.

Do you ever think to stop by an area by the highway and grab the most unique BLTs you have ever had? No, but now you will. BLTs are some of the most generic sandwiches you can find, but the Brisbane Lunch Truck has such a unique take on it with such fresh ingredients, that you'll never get a BLT elsewhere again. Bacon that's crispy and not overly salty, super fresh chips, amazing jam sauce, and refillable homemade drinks? Sign me up! Also - did I mention the amazing service and level of care the staff has? They greeted my whole group farewell by calling everyone's name at the end!

Fried chicken sandwich with house chips and a bonus unexpected delicious shortbread (?) cookie

Wow is all I can articulate for the Yokohama chicken sandwich. 100% going back for that again another day. Enjoyed the banh mi burger, the house chips and the Arnold Palmer as well but the Yokohama chicken sandwich was my absolute favorite. The unexpected sweet treat (not sure if it was a shortbread cookie) was perfectly bite sized to round off the meal and leave feeling satisfied. Service was great, we had called ahead to ask for hours and although it was a hot day the open air seating and picnic tables with the light breeze made for a pleasant afternoon.

Pass by everyday while dropping off my daughter to work. Decided to try their sandwiches and support the local business. Sandwiches were stuffed and tasty. They came with potato chips and a piece of cookies. The chips today were little bit over cooked and had a burnt taste.

Brisbane Lunch Truck makes a tasty chicken sandwich $17. It arrived straight from the fryer. It was juicy with the right amount of moisture. The batter was crunchy and the coleslaw was falling out as I ate it. While indulging on this, I noticed a slight hint of wasabi. It was very good and decently sized. The house made chips were OK. Something to change up the pallet. Service was excellent and it took about 20 minutes for the food to come out. The seating area was full at noon on a Saturday.

On International Women's Day, I knew I had to make a stop at one of the hidden gems, the Brisbane Lunch Truck. The chicken is made to order so it does like 10-15 minutes to make, so if you are in a rush, it's best to call ahead and place your order. It was a sunny day out in Brisbane so I didn't mind the wait. I initially go it to-go but ended up just eating it in my car because anything fried is best eaten right away. Love that they use thigh meat for their chicken sandwich. The chicken was juicy and flavorful, with their slaw adding a nice acidity to it. I do wish the bun was slightly more toasted, and if I did it bring it home, I would've added a little bit of mayo (i'm addicted to kewpie mayo at the moment, I put it on everything lol) I saw that the recently had to increase prices, but honestly, for what meals cost nowadays, it's still a very affordable and flavorful meal. With rising labor and product costs, it's inevitable that businesses have to do this, and I'm glad at Brisbane Lunch Truck the increase was reasonable and fair. The chicken sandwich was $16.50 and it comes with their delicious umami chips. It was enough food for a single meal and I was pretty full. They have plenty of parking spots. And if you are driving up, drive slow or you might miss the first lot entrance. They have a designated seating area with picnic tables, so you are able to eat there, especially if it's a pretty day out. If you haven't visited, this is definitely one of those spots that you have to know it's there but it's worth checking out IMO.

Thoughtfully crafted food, using high quality ingredients and served with a smile. Service was friendly and patient with our questions, evidencing the pride they took in their food. We ordered a mango smoothie, vegan burger, chicken sandwich and cheesesteak sandwiches. All sandwiches were served on 5 star buns and accompanied by ridiculously delicious house made potato chips and the cutest cookie. I could write a whole review just on the potato chips..the best I have ever eaten. I was impressed with the care that went into creating the vegan patty. For those who miss the texture of meat, you will be beyond pleased with this tasty soy based patty. My husband also loved his chicken sandwich that was taken over the top with the wasabi mayo and well executed chicken that was mouth watering juicy. My two teens were less than satisfied with their cheesesteaks. Both said that the sauce missed the mark on seasoning giving it a slightly bland taste; steak was perfectly tender. The mango smoothie was very refreshing and I could tell that the mangoes were picked with care. Easy parking with plenty of sunny, clean outdoor seating, hand washing station and a clean restroom.

Based on the many reviews (both google and Yelp), we decided to try this restaurant. It is aptly named as there was no signs outside the area but we found it! It is a bar with great food! Service was friendly and relatively fast. We were handed menus and told to come back to the bar to place our order. Our group ordered chicken tenders and fries (not on the menu but we asked the bartender); Classic burgers, Gem Hot sandwich (like a Philly Cheesesteak sandwich), onion rings and sweet potato fries. You had a choice of buns (Sweet French Roll, Dutch Crunch, Sourdough and Gluten Free bread: surcharge) The onion rings had a nice crispy coating. The sweet potato fries came out hot and crispy. Both the onion rings and sweet potato fries were well cooked - not greasy and tasted delicious. The tenders and fries were delicious too. Portions are generous. The burgers I'm told were great and my Gem sandwich was just spot on - delicious, welll balanced meat with cheese , sauteed mushrooms and grilled onions. Seasoned well and juicy. This is definitely a hidden spot (Gem) and would definitely be back to try other items on the menu.

The atmosphere is what stands out right away. It has that authentic sports bar vibe without trying too hard. TVs going, people locked into games, and just an overall relaxed energy. It feels like a place you can come to regularly, not just once. It didn't feel like a tourist spot at all, more like somewhere locals actually hang out. Food-wise, it's solid bar food done right. Wings, burgers, and the kind of stuff you actually want when you're watching a game or just kicking back. Nothing fancy, but it hits and fits the environment. The drinks were on point too. Good beer selection, solid cocktails, and plenty of options if you're just trying to chill for a while. The setup with TVs and bar games makes it easy to stay longer than you planned. The staff and the crowd both added to the experience. It felt welcoming, people were comfortable, and you don't get that awkward feeling walking into a new place. We went on a Friday night, where they had a very loud band playing in the middle of the restaurant. It seemed the only people enjoying the music were the band members themselves. I mean that with no disrespect, there were the people located next to the band that were covering their ears, outwardly! There were people sitting outside, and as they came inside to leave, I jokingly said they must be from up north, as the outside temperature was 55 degrees with a light drizzle. They stated the only reason they ate outside was because they couldn't hear anything due to the band. It's an extremely loud band and a closed space so the music really echo. Unfortunately there is minimal weight staff. I believe that they spent the money on more servers rather than a band, it would be the best business move. Our server came to get our drink and food order, and then didn't come back until it was time to drop off the check. We had a runner come deliver our food, and they forgot the side salad. But by the time our waitress came, we were ready to leave, so we just asked them to take it off the bill. My mom's patty melt was OK, the meat was very thin compared to the slice of bread. My Long Island with also not great. It tasted like a well drink. I would've given 5 stars if the waitress was able to check in on us after we got our food, if the patty melt had better proportions, and my cocktail tasted a little more flavorful.,
