Understanding the inconsistency of the dental industry is crucial, and it's a perspective that I believe needs to be shared. I acknowledge the knowledge of this dental team and the cleanliness of the office with its modern equipment. However, it's important to also consider the patient's perspective in order to bring about the necessary changes. My concern is the "cost to do business, authenticity and transparency." Here, you cannot get your teeth cleaned without a full consult from the dentist first, multiple costly photos (from all angles!) and xrays, and this consult isn't just a "let's check to see the general health of your teeth," which is what I would expect and nothing more unless I ASKED for it. I do not care if I have a narrow jaw at 54 years of age...I am not a child that needs, wants or asked for reparative measures. I take extreme care of my teeth, and it shows (photo attached). I do not need SPECULATORY advice on why my 2nd last two molars failed me - I explained that I know exactly why...one reason was I was severely lacking nutrients after the birth of my child and simultaneously had 3 front teeth crumble...yet this was ignored in order to have me explore myofascial correction options because it was maybe due to my narrow jaw. The other molar issue I had was because another dentist removed all the enamel from my molar and crowned it unnecessarily (made a great amount of $$$ off this!); pain and sensitivity got so intense I developed a condition called condensing osteitis and told NEXT I needed a root canal...I went to my dental surgeon and had the entire tooth extracted. Trust was lost. The dental industry needs correction and transparency--it's a big problem. No one should leave a dentist's office paying $654 out of pocket when their intent was to get their teeth cleaned, and they get them cleaned regularly every 8 months, yet be told there were issues and a multitude of costly photos and x-rays taken without so much as a discussion on the cost of these. I had just undergone dental surgery 10 days ago and explained the sensitivity of my mouth (an old root canal extraction done by my excellent dental surgeon, not this dentist). This fact was ignored, and I sat in a dental chair for 3 1/4 hours to get a talking to about my narrow jaw and cleaning that was so severe that I felt empathy was not a part of this dental practice. I am still sore all over my body from the tension and pain I experienced from the cleaning. So, to those reading this, I wrote this so you know exactly what you're getting into beforehand and to help with transparency & consistency within an industry that needs more of it. The dental industry needs a huge revamp.

But Dr. Lang here definitely deserves credit. He is good at what he does, and this means a lot. He seems to always have the best technology, and he ensures that his patients are comfortable. The service here is always friendly. I don't know how the prices compare. But if he charges more here than other places, I think it is fair. But best of all is the gentle and precise dentistry I have ever experienced from a dentist. I dread when dentist perform freezing, the needle always hurts and continues long after I have left the clinic. When Dr. Mandeep Sandhu does the freezing I don't feel or realize when the freezing is administered, she is so gentle. In my opinion Dr. Sandhu is very thorough, she explains exactly what and why a procedure needs to be done when you are experiencing a problem. Every interaction was professional, caring and kind. We had put off some major dental work, that we should not have, and the staff gently corrected our behavior and set us on the right path without judgement, without a heavy bill, and with compassion and connectedness. Over the years, we have developed some hesitation about going to the dentist because of previous bad experiences. I can truly say those fears are resolved because everyone that we interacted with was phenomenal and caring. And it starts right at the front desk with Neli, the manager, and Arthel, administrator. They really take the time to demonstrate authentic friendliness, not to mention, they also know their dentistry! It is a joy to speak with them on the phone and to see them when we come in. Dr Khalid, our dentist, is just one of the best at what he does and really takes the time to help you understand his thought process and treatment plan. He is very honest and highly skilled. And if you should ever need a tooth extracted, there is nobody quite as quick, effective, and skilled as Dr. Deen. Even if its something dreadful that we have to face, there is no better place to go to when you have a toothache or dental trauma. Regal Heights is simply the best. The receptionist Gale is very organized and sweet - she'll definitely help you get the appointment time you need (e.g. will call you up when a slot opens up). I get a call from her every 6 months to book my next cleaning which I appreciate - it's one less thing I have to keep track of myself. My dentist Dr Rajput and the hygienist are very friendly as well and remember me each time. I generally go in for cleanings and fillings only though so can't comment on more extensive procedures.
