I asked an employee if there were any in the back. He said "Yeah but because of inventory we can't get them. I can't go in the back cause it'll be in a box somewhere. Come back next week." I was a bit perplexed - so you refuse to sell me curtains because of inventory? I've done inventory with stores before and I've never heard of this. Such a wasted trip. So I call the store a week and a half later to ask - the employee goes to the curtain dept to look for them. I try to give her the UPC# but she doesn't want it, she's looking via the description. She says "They're probably in the back and I'm not going back there. It's in a box somewhere. They're unloading a truck now so it'll be out soon." I ask why it says there are 5 in stock online? She says "Well it's probably 5 cause there's 5 in the truck coming to the store right now." Even though it has said there's 5 in stock for the past 2 weeks. So my question would be - how unorganized is it in the backroom that no employee wants to go back there to check merchandise?? Is it just me or is that crazy?

I was shopping at BJ's Wholesale Club and suddenly the fire alarm went off, so I walked to Hobby Lobby to check it out and stay warm. The store was huge and when you walk in, there are aisles of holiday items from gift tags, wrapping paper, gift boxes, stockings, wreaths, and other decor items. Throughout the other aisles are fabric, wall decor, books, party items, frames, paper crafts, and so much more. All aisles were labelled and fully stocked. I purchased car coasters as a gift. There were multiple registers open and the cashier was friendly. Service was quick. I will definitely come back to Hobby Lobby when I need supplies for a DIY project or a party.

Fabric takes up approximately one third of the space in this small location. I have generally been able to find what I need when I'm here but its not the products that detract from the experience. Their customer service could use an upgrade. When you are at the cutting counter there is a lot of sighing and negative facial expressions. Even when the store seems empty there's a line of people waiting and waiting. The speed with which things are conducted here does not improve when trying to check out. Often, there are not enough staff on the registers. On my most recent visit, there was one person working the register with 6 or so people in front of me. I waited a very long time to make my purchase... so long that I almost considered leaving my items behind. Whats worse is there were two other employees hanging out by the cutting counter, chatting. I had seen one of them at the registers when I first walked in so that would not have prevented them from coming to help out. Frustrating, as this is something that happens consistently. Fortunately, I do not have to rely on this location as there are other craft stores closer to me. When I need to stop here though, I wish things were improved a bit.

The place is small, but it is pretty packed with a variety of decorating and crafting supplies and the selection changes throughout the year. The largest section of the store is the fabric section. Because the store is small, if you go there for something in particular the selection may seem limited (depending on what you're seeking). That said, It is pretty rare that they don't have something I'm looking for. There are some advantages to the smaller space. It is easy to find what you need, without having to ask for help (like I find I have to do at larger craft supply stores). When you do need help, the staff are knowledgeable and eager to assist.

It took two weeks for my product to arrive which they told me might happen and was fine with. I picked up the product on Monday March 3rd. My installer was not able to do the job until April 21st. The installer liked the product and it looks great! I called Lumber Liquidators to return 5 unopened boxes (it was recommended by their staff to get extra for the job ). I don't have a problem with the recommendation because it makes sense and is pretty standard in the industry. This is why they only get 2 stars. They would not allow the return because it was over 30 days. The salesperson said that it appears on the receipt. The first issue is why have such a stringent policy on a product that is so dependent on the contractor. Things happen and in my case the contractor had to get to an emergency job first. I looked on the receipt that I have but it doesn't say it. Maybe I am overlooking the fine print but at least they should have stated it to me. So if I knew which I didn't would I have to bring all 40 boxes back to return them in the 30 day window and repurchase. It doesn't make sense. If they carry the floor on a regular basis what harm does it do to take the return and resell. If nothing else then a store credit should be issued for non damaged boxes. No they never tried to help solve the issue just kept saying sorry and the salesperson agreed not a great policy.

I just had my master bedroom and walk-in closet done with the same flooring on September 19th. Floor looks amazing. The contractors came in on time got right to work and by noon were completed. Hats off to my sales reps who were on hand for any issues I may have had.
