In particular, I wanted to mention a low-price item, a leather wrist band with blue wrapping. I have now had it for over 4 years, and it still looks great, even though I never take it off and wear it while swimming. Earlier when I had called them to see if that was OK, they weren't sure, so I thought I would put that straight. Water won't hurt it, which is good because otherwise it is a bit of a challenge to take off.

I Googled them to find it's an actual clothing line. I may have been the most uncool person that's ever come through their doors on Fairfax but I'll have you know I'm a super cool Mom who just got carded for a video game (for him of course) at Best Buy last night so I made my way here this afternoon since they are in close proximity to my office and picked up somethin' for my little human. I called last night to ask if they had items from their new holiday collection and described what I was looking for before taking the time to stop in versus ordering online and waiting for shipping to a zip code a couple cities away. Their customer service is great. I even spotted a billboard on Sunset on my drive over. Metered street parking out front and if you're a fan of Canter's they're right across the street! If Supreme and Diamond mean anything to you, they are around too. I thought I'd be super cool Mom if I had waited in the long line across the street and come home with Supreme goods but what the heck do I know about this stuff, other than my little human likes it. I'll leave it to my imagination to figure out if they intentionally leased this address...

They accept credit cards and the accounting woman Sara is also so sweet. I love working with companies that are locally owned, do all of the work in house, and do a great job for a great price.

My multiple orders should be enough to let you know that I really like GL face masks. Of the half dozen vendors I've tried, GL sends masks that are exceptionally well made to be effective at filtering, breathable during a long day at work, and with enough color variation that you feel you can have a selection of masks that will somewhat complement the day's clothing ensemble. I believe cotton is the best seller, but I've always purchased linen, imagining it will be more durable in long haul. The only downside to a GL purchase is that the most basic shipping takes longer than you may imagine, given current conditions with USPS. One of my four packages arrived damaged and empty (replaced for free by customer service with an additional shipment). So my advice is to select an upgraded UPS shipping option, and, even then, be prepared to wait a while. Thanks GL for making breathing during a pandemic a little safer and easier for me to handle.

Graf lantz masks come in regular, kids and petite sizes. The petite fit me perfectly and would also likely be great for teens. I ordered the Zenbu which comes with a nose wire - perfect for a tight fit that eliminates fogging of your glasses or sunglasses. The ear loop elastic is adjustable and the cotton twill is very tightly woven with a soft inner layer next to your face. Unlike lower quality masks, when you hold the mask up to a bright light, no light comes through. There is also a pocket to insert an extra filter. The stitching is very high quality as you can see from the photo of the inner side of the mask. In this photo I have inserted an optional filter. I'm about to order 2 more and try out some of their other vibrant colors. They have beautiful wool felt bags, coasters, and home accessories as well and everything is made locally in Los Angeles and they even donate to a local food bank for every purchase.
