Yes, you can encounter some sketchy looking homeless people but just make sure to be aware of your surroundings and you'll be fine! Regal is just across the street and there's lots of restaurants nearby so catching a movie and grabbing some dinner then taking a walk here would make a great date night! I think the city has done a good job of trying to bring downtown Stockton back to life and this place is a good example of that.

My waste tank needed pumped out the next morning and two of his dock hands met me and took care of it . It was a super busy weekend and they still provided above excellent service . The entire team at this facility was excellent I wish I could remember the names of the individuals that were so helpful it was all the dock hands and security personnel. Great Experience.

Email responses were often delayed or never received. On multiple occasions, I left messages and was told calls would be returned, but they were not. It was also difficult to address administrative questions during operating hours, as Eli, instructor/manager, was typically running classes and unavailable to discuss billing or membership matters. In April 2025, I emailed requesting a temporary freeze of our membership. After following up and not receiving a written response, we had a verbal conversation and stopped attending in May. In June, the instructor emailed asking if the children were returning, confirming they were on a break. Despite this, recurring charges resumed in July and continued for months while our children did not attend. Multiple written follow-ups and an in-person request for a response have gone unanswered. Additionally, the studio often felt very crowded, and during warmer months the space was quite hot with limited effective air circulation. We would have appreciated clearer communication, more consistent administrative follow-through, and stronger responsiveness to member concerns.

Classes often start late without any notice, and when this is brought up, responsibility is deflected rather than acknowledged. Communication and consideration for students' time are ongoing issues. I have personally witnessed the owner tell children that school is not important and insert his opinions about how parents should raise their kids, despite not having children himself. I have also witnessed a child being yelled at in the parking lot, which was very uncomfortable and disturbing to see. Because of this behavior, many instructors and long-term students have left and ended their programs early. A common reason shared was feeling uncomfortable with the owner's presence and attitude. It became clear over time that long-term students were not valued, and the focus felt more centered on the business rather than student well-being and development. There are many martial arts gyms in the area that are far more respectful, organized, and supportive. I strongly encourage parents and prospective students to explore other options before committing here.

The management is absurdly bueurocratic and strict, with limited access hours and an inscrutable…read moreschedule. Pool closes during the middle of the day for "maintenance," while all guests are told to leave the premises. Kids are only allowed during lifeguard hours, which can be unpredictable. Lifeguards call Adult Only swim every 45 minutes, even when there are only parents with kids present. I've seen them kick out families with crying toddlers who just want to swim on a hot summer day. They also monitor the pool 24 hours with video and audio surveillance, to enforce guest conduct. Creepy! If you live in the neighborhood, opt out of the HOA and join LARPD pools instead.

They have some benches parents can sit on inside the pool fence. However, you may bring lawn chairs too. You can set them up inside near the pool, or outside the fence in the grassy area. There is also a set of large bleachers outside the swim fence where you can watch. The bathrooms at this pool are decent but could use an upgrade. While it was clean, I noticed the soap dispensers were not filled and someone brought some hand soap (which was awesome!), however the next day it was practically out (fart squirts...you know the one) and then the next day water was added. So I guess it's byo soap. The playground is amazing and there are a few different ones for different age groups like toddlers, little kids, big kids. The bathrooms outside the pool, near the playground are usable but not good. No soap and only one toilet for guys and one for girls. Long lines when it's the end of the day and they have football and cheerleading practice at the park. Parking lot is a small lot right before the pool. Very easy to miss! It is a very small narrow entrance and lot. It's like a long ruler. Spots are narrow but it does open up in the back a bit, but those spots are far away and also a bit too hidden if you catch my drift.
