She washed her hair and began brushing out the knots and tangles. And there were lots of those!! Then the blow drying began. Some of the other stylists grabbed another dryer and started on the other side when they had a few minutes. Then came out the flat iron. And Susie really helped too. I saw $55 on the website for a cut, so I figured that's what I'd pay, but I ended up having to pay $85. I was immediately shocked by an unexpected $30 charge. I should have asked about the price upfront, that's on me. But as a brand new client, it was a surprise to learn that my first cut is considered a more expensive 'styled cut' at $85, and only trims after this will be $55. My biggest suggestion is for them to make that difference super clear for new people so it's not a shock when you go to pay.

During quarantine I box dyed my hair black, then used sun-in to lighten it, attempted to give myself a short haircut with layers, and tried to trim my bangs... she was able to undo all that and make my hair look exactly how I wanted it to in the first place!
