Freddy, the dental assistant, is also great to work with. He's very communicative and always makes sure we know what's going on. The office has a few puzzles and activities in the waiting area to keep kids busy, and the treatment rooms have TVs with children's shows to help distract them during exams. It's also very easy to call and cancel or reschedule appointments. They're understanding and not overly strict, which makes things much less stressful. The only downside is that the front desk staff could be a bit more personable, but overall we've had a great experience here. The best part is at the end -- the kids get a coin to use in the bubblegum machine to pick out a little toy. My kids look forward to this every visit!

She came across as extremely rude and dismissive, which made an already stressful situation even worse. Instead of taking the time to listen to my concerns, she rushed through the appointment and seemed uninterested in providing proper care. What's even more frustrating is that the treatment plan she recommended did not work at all, leaving me feeling like my time and money were completely wasted. There was no clear explanation, no follow-up, and no accountability for the results. Overall, this was an awful experience, and I would not recommend this dentist to anyone. There are far better professionals out there who actually care about their patients.

From the paperwork all the way to the night guard at the end. They replaced both of my front teeth with crowns and used some new fangled high tech scanner computer to take 3-D scans of my teeth for the process. But it's not just this procedure that stands out. I mean, they came out better than I expected by far. But. I have been seeing Dr. Toyer and Dr. Toyer and their team for five years now. I can't remember a single doctors office ever that I've felt more at home. Everyone knows you by name. The pride Dr. Toyer takes in his work is evident from the start to the finish. I said okay well the second one is in network so I wanted to proceed with setting up an appointment as we are just looking for preventive care but she acted like she couldn't schedule it. I never heard of this before but she said it's office policy. Even if the first insurance isn't in network, isn't it called coordination of benefits? So my second one would then be billed and then it would be covered as I am just looking for cleanings for a 4 and 2 year old. I'm legit in HR and still couldn't believe or understand how she was being so resistant to a potential new patient. I guess they don't want new patients. Be sure then to update your website and specify exactly that Aetna is only covered if you had Connection Dental or whatever she said on the card. I will go to find another practice because it just felt like if they are doing this already, they most likely will suck when it comes to billing. Wasn't like I didn't have insurance at all; and also why couldn't I even get scheduled like I couldn't pay out of pocket. They definitely need customer service training!

My initial appointment was for a cleaning, which I never received. Over the course of a year, I repeatedly asked for routine cleanings & was never scheduled for one. My final appointment in May 2025 was supposed to address what I understood to be a filling. When I arrived, I was informed I would be receiving a root canal. This was the first time a root canal had ever been discussed with me. There was no prior explanation or consultation about why such an extensive procedure was necessary. I felt unprepared but agreed. During the procedure, there were complications & I ultimately lost the tooth, which had not been causing me pain or any noticeable issues prior to. Afterward, I researched beyond Google & found other patient reviews on different platforms describing experiences similar to mine. This was my personal experience, & I strongly encourage prospective patients to research via a variety of review platforms.

08/08/2025 Office experience was terrible. I have a bit of dental anxiety and let's face it, the…read moredentist can be a bit scary. I was referred to an oral surgeon after several dentists explained that in order to remove my 2 bottom impacted wisdom teeth it would have to be done under anesthesia due to the location and how one is completely impacted horizontally into the gums and will require the removal of a bit of jaw bone/cartilage. I went in for my consultation and Dr Nguyen was super nice and I explained that I have anxiety about this procedure but she assured me it would be fine & I was scheduled to come in the following week to have the surgery done. I arrived a half an hour early just to iron out any issues or in case I had last minute questions. My fiancé had told me to make sure they were planning to give me anesthesia for the surgery. I asked the person at the front desk and they said that they were actually only going to use "local anesthetic" aka Novocain shots & that I didn't need anything more than that. I started to panic because I was expecting to be at the very least given sedation (laughing gas) The employee (Angela) started to talk down to me saying in an extremely snarky tone of voice "if you're already having THIS much anxiety before the procedure then maybe you're just not ready for it" and I replied that I'm having anxiety about undergoing a major oral surgery without any anesthesia or sedation. So she told me to sit and wait while she went to talk to the oral surgeon (Dr Phuong N Nguyen) when she came back from speaking to the Dr she informed me that they would give me the nitrous oxide/laughing gas but that now they would only be able to take out 1 wisdom tooth & not the other more severely impacted tooth, for that one I would have to schedule a separate appointment and go through another surgery and a second time being put under anesthesia/sedation. I explained that I wouldn't be able to take off work a second time because I have a small home daycare & I asked her to explain to me why they were willing to remove BOTH wisdom teeth without any anesthesia or sedation but now that I was asking for the bare minimum sedation (laughing gas) they could only do 1 at a time now. She got very upset and told me that since I don't trust them that I should just go somewhere else to get it done. I went on to write an honest review of the office and in doing so the employee (Angela) then took it upon herself to use my private medical information to locate my small home daycare online and in retaliation for my review she gave my business (which she's had zero interactions) a 1 star review. This is against their own policy listed on their website which states that they will not retaliate in any way if you make a complaint to them or to the Department of Health. This is extremely unethical if not illegal.

I decided to establish care with a new dentist, and I was very disappointed to find out that I had cavities developing in areas that are difficult to reach with regular brushing, including around old fillings. What was most frustrating was that during my visits here, I was always told, "Great job brushing," and I was never informed of any concerns or areas that needed closer attention. It also felt like the office was more focused on scheduling my 6-month follow-up appointments than on thoroughly addressing my dental health and providing clear communication about my care. I had referred family and friends to this office, and unfortunately, they experienced similar issues. Communication and follow-up are very important when it comes to dental care, and I feel this was lacking. The office staff also did not provide a welcoming experience, and there seemed to be constant staff changes during the time I was a patient. I initially overlooked that, but combined with my overall experience, it contributed to my disappointment. Overall, I am very unhappy with my experience and would not recommend this office based on my concerns with communication, consistency, and the level of care I received.
