Just make sure to get there early, because they do sell out of the popular flavors. It's the perfect little outing too grab a cupcake and take a stroll through the beautiful Agritopia gardens. The food is legitimately really good, always piping hot, delicious, and their coffee is excellent. But man... it is getting harder and harder to ignore the fact that this place desperately wants to be Scottsdale without actually being in Scottsdale. There is a level of pretentiousness walking through here that deserves its own parking space. People are not just coming in for breakfast they are coming in to be perceived. I am half expecting someone to walk in and announce, "Sorry I am late, my personal brand meeting ran long." And the gym clothes... THE GYM CLOTHES. I work out too. I just do not feel the need to wear my workout clothes everywhere like I am on my way to the Olympics. Meanwhile, people are walking around here dressed like they just completed a 90-minute HIIT class, despite the fact that their biggest athletic accomplishment today was finding a parking spot. And listen, I am all for confidence. Wear what you want. But some things should remain between you, your mirror, and your close friends. Not all body part's you own need to make a public appearance. At this point, their burritos are more covered up than some of the customers. Their dress code is now: Athleisure + confidence + absolutely no fear of exposing an entire area of their body. Anyway... back to why we are actually here: THE FOOD. It's fantastic. Always hot, always delicious, and the coffee never disappoints. That is what keeps bringing us back. But if they start reserving more of the already-limited seating for the Scottsdale Influencer Association, I may have to draw the line and take my business elsewhere. I came for a burrito--not a live-action audition for Real Housewives of Gilbert. Great food. Great coffee. Just please keep the Scottsdale cosplay, reserved-table nonsense, and unsolicited anatomy exhibits to a minimum.

I've gone for just coffee and I've gone to actually work and drink coffee, and their split level plan gives customers a fair amount of options for seating, not to mention they also have outdoor seat in available (no thanks in the Summer)! While I've of course had some coffees here that I like better than others I've ordered, I've never had a single coffee here that wasn't truly enjoyable. On my recent visit I decided to order a normal latte, but to switch it up with macadamia milk instead of whole milk, which was suggested by the barista. This was a great recommendation that added a unique flavor to the drink and I honestly think I liked it even better than the normal latte I get! You have to stop in if you've never been. You can also visit their original location in Chandler if that's closer by!

The service is wonderful. Employees are very nice and take time to answer questions no matter how long the line is. When it comes to coffee I'm pretty simple. I like cold brew with cold foam. Their cold brew is extremely bitter and their cold foam is very limited and appears to rotate on the season. They didn't have just a plain vanilla cold foam so I asked how salty the salted vanilla was and was told not salty at all. That couldn't have been further from the truth. It was so unbelievably salty that it made the drink almost undrinkable.

Good Mythical Morning! Let's talk about that…read more I always think of Good Mythical Morning when seeing Mythical Coffee. That said, I don't think Rhett McLaughlin and Link Neal are involved with this adorable coffee shop. I digress! I recently ordered the Bourbon Peach Latte with oat milk ($6.50 + $0.75 for oat milk), Blueberry Pie Latte ($6.50), and a Breakfast Sammy with ham ($8). The Bourbon Peach Latte is a seasonal summer drink. It features caramelized sugar, simmered bourbon and heavy cream, real peaches, vanilla bean paste, and a touch of salt. You also get a cute peach gummy ring on the side. The Blueberry Pie Latte is another seasonal summer drink. It includes espresso, blueberry pie syrup, and milk, topped with cream cheese cold foam and a cinnamon graham cracker crumble. Honestly one of the best variations of a blueberry drink I've had at a coffee shop. My favorite blueberry-anything at any coffee shop actually. As for their Breakfast Sammy, it had garlic aioli, egg, ham, avocado, cheddar cheese, and Everything Bagel seasoning. You can definitely taste the garlic in this sandwich. It was a great way to start my Saturday after spin class. I totally ate back my calories but no regrets. If I were Benson Boone, I'd say that Mythical Coffee was mystical, magical. The barista was patient as I took forever deciding between all the fun drink options! The decoration was super cute: very light/airy and wood accents, just like you'd imagine in a casita! I'm a big Cortado guy and they have one prominently on the menu. We've been here a few times and each time my wife's flavored latte is quite lovely, but would it be if it wasn't iced? The service is pleasant, the cafe itself is clean and cute, they have a restroom for patrons. But when it comes to pouring a Cortado, they don't know how to do it. It's just some steamed milk dumped on espresso in a paper cup. Any time a barista puts a cap on your cup (paper cups are generally a bad sign, but some are very good, but still not as good as glass cup poured versions) it's clear they intend to hide the lack of microfoam head, the art itself is how you build this drink. The pastries are great. I've wanted to like this place really because of the story, but if you're really into espresso there are so many better options than Cosita.
