Ok, so i am surprised why this place has gotten such LESS reviews. It is SUCH a hidden gem. We woke up unusually early and decided to take a drive before sunrise and stumbled into this gem.. Guys, for coffee lovers this is something else!! I mean we reached there at 6:07am and it opens at 6:00am. Firstly its cute, not the girlishly cute kinda set up, its just adorable. Minimalist, but that comfort of you know you're going to get coffee kind of vibe. I have visited so many coffee shops and this one just tops it up. Nothing fancy, just focused on good freaking crafted coffee!! The type you need starting of the week, middle of the week and end of the week!! Our server was also very nice. He recommended good options for coffees. We didn't try any specials, just the regulars. Latte and nitro brew.. but they were so dang good! I would def recommend this place, for people who are visiting and for locals! read more

Comfortable coffee shop located in Gilbert, Arizona. The shop is cute and has tables inside and outside. There is a comfortable couch and some books available to read, and there are some fun Arizona themed stickers for sale. The service was great, the barista was extremely friendly and patient while I decided what I wanted to order. She also was really quick with making my coffee, and made a really cute design. There is a limited selection of syrups for flavoring, so if you are really into flavored coffee just be aware of that. I ordered a hot vanilla latte with oatmilk. The coffee was rich and the vanilla complemented it really well. I deeply enjoyed my drink. read more

What a lovely little coffee shop! It's tucked in a plaza and conveniently located right off Warner Rd, down the street from my job. The barista (i can't remember her name) was very sweet and made me one of the best peppermint mochas I've had in a while. The price was also unbelievable!! $7 for a large hot coffee! Yes I'm in! This place is now my go to coffee shop when going to work in Chandler. read more

Came here to catch up on some work. Really enjoyed the coffee. Plenty of tables inside to choose your preferred sitting spot. I don't know exactly what type of business the guy sitting nearby was running, but based on his level of excitement during his client call they are in for an amazing year. Small interesting coffee shop off Warner in Gilbert. Almost impossible to see from road. Turn on S Islands drive and it's right there. Indoor seating and a couple outdoor tables in the shade. In my humble opinion, their Americano is best I've had in Phoenix. Never bitter, robust and slightly sweet. Different baristas so it must be the beans and how the shots are pulled. There is usually only 1 person working here and the take great care in making the drinks, so you might have a little wait if there are a couple people ahead of you, but worth it. read more

Cute small coffee shop! Popped in on a Sunday and there were a few people working, definitely a quiet good place to work or study. The mushroom latte was delicious and the sugar free vanilla is one of my favorites I've had! They were out of all the pastries when we arrived at around 10:45, but I would definitely come back for the coffee! Service was also fast and friendly! read more

I started visiting GrindTime a few months ago and every single time I have had a wonderful experience. Olivia and Mark are fantastic and honestly everyone that works is. It's a small coffee shop but the coffee is incredible. They also have some yummy muffins (I'm currently obsessed with their banana bread muffin). They also sell some cool stickers, post cards, and other items. They use the space wisely (good seating but not overcrowded). Just note that outlets are a bit scarce so make sure you come fully charged. They have a car meet once a month - I haven't personally been but I'm interested in checking out soon. Definitely a gem read more

YOU GUYS!!!! This is the coffee place I've been looking for, and it's been 5 minutes down the road all along. It's hidden, but in a shopping center, so don't let it deter you. This coffee is perfect. Decent coffee spot in Gilbert! Friendly staff, super clean space, great prices. The flavor of the coffee was a little lacking in both of our drinks but we enjoyed them for the most part. The most important shoutout is the pricing of the coffee. Extremely affordable compared to other craft coffee spots and even places like Starbucks. I was in the area and love looking for local coffee shops (not the chain places), and this popped up as the best coffee in Gilbert, so I had to stop by. I don't do coffee, but I was grateful they had at least a chai latte on the menu so I could try something. The shop is quaint and quiet with a few tables and a little couch area with some books. Great place to sit and read or work while sipping your hot beverage. The tea came out quickly and looked and tastes great. The two workers in the shop were extremely friendly and welcoming. Great coffee! I've visited GrindTime Coffee twice now and the latte has been consistently delicious. I always order a honey cinnamon oat milk latte and it's always done right. I also like that they offer a unique plant-based milk option, Mylk, which I have never seen anywhere else. It tasted amazing. Although the space is small, there is ample indoor seating. It's also a good place for working as they have strong wifi. The staff is helpful and friendly. Convenient coffee spot located at a shopping plaza with plenty of parking. There's tons of seating inside the coffee shop itself and it seems as though they really take their coffee game seriously. I ordered myself their Chagaccino my first visit here and I'd say it was not only delicious but also very strong, flavorful coffee. Tasted like Vietnamese coffee to be honest. There's a lot of nice local artwork sold inside the shop as well. read more

Pretty good latte. They won't grind beans for espresso, though, stating that the beans oxidize too fast. I explained that I understood that and that I do this regularly at my normal shop and store my ground beans in a way that prevents them from oxidizing before I use them. Still wouldn't do it. I was only in there instead of my regular shop because I had run out of ground beans and it was the weekend and my normal shop is only open on weekdays. Fairly limited beans for purchase as well. So, solid shop to grab a coffee, but not a good spot for beans for my needs. read more

Was on a walk with my friend and we caught this place out of the corner of our eyes and had to stop in! Tucked away in the corner of the plaza, this cute & coffee shop is the perfect place to meet up with a friend or hang out. This is a nice lil cafe along Warner and S Mcqueen if you're looking to find another spot in the East Valley for good coffee. Parking is easy to find, and I love how there's plenty of seating indoors. Guest wifi is available for customers, and the environment of the shop is quiet, which makes it a perfect spot for studying or working! I like how they have a selection of regular and seasonal syrups, and you can also get pastries/sweet treats with your drink. I got the latte with oat milk and blood orange mocha syrup, which came out very quickly. I liked the flavor of the syrup, though I might ask for a little less next time around since I like my drinks less sweet. Overall, it's a nice place to just sit and work on your laptop. I love swinging by every now and then when I'm in Gilbert! read more

I really like this place and it has been my go to since moving to Gilbert a month ago. However, on weekends it consistently takes 10 mins or more to get one shot of espresso even though I am the only customer. 10 mins every time. I may have to find a new spot when I don't have all day to wait for one shot of espresso. But, the place is really nice and has a great vibe read more

A well deserved 5 ! I am VERY picky. This is the best coffee shop in the valley, in my opinion. I also like that the Baristas are patient and attentive, as well as skilled. Love this place! I have been here twice now and both times the experience has been great. The inside is super quaint and cozy, I really love the décor. There is plenty of seating inside and some outside, for when the weather is nice. They roast their own beans in house, which is why I wanted to try them to begin with. I got a bag of Ethiopian to take home and it was so good that I had to come back and get more! The drinks are very good as well. I got a simple hot vanilla latte, which was smooth and not too sweet. My husband got a flavored lemonade, which was delicious. We also tried a vegan donut, which was good, but not something I'd get regularly. Cheers to adding another coffee spot to our favorites! I've been wanting to try this gem for awhile, we just never got around to it. So glad we finally made the trip. My wife ended up trying their dirty chai and I chose the blood orange mocha; we both opted for the myracle mylk since we usually enjoy oat milk in our coffees. Oooo the chai was so tasty, perfect amount of flavor from the spices and not overwhelming as sometimes the clove taste can be a bit extreme. The orange mocha was delicious, for the first time I could really enjoy the orange flavor. I haven't had success from other places, orange options tend to be more bland. The myracle milk was balanced and creamy. Made for a very smooth cup of coffee. Staff was great, everyone was super friendly. Looking forward to coming back! read more

The coffee was okay, latte was served cold (much cooler than a traditional cappuccino is served at), the barista wasn't all too pleasant and someone who worked there was pacing back and forth between two staff areas, his vehicle and kept staring when he'd pass by so altogether just felt uncomfortable. Prices were on par with similar quality places but they upcharge for 1/2 & 1/2 in things that are advertised as "milk of choice" so it feels just kinda off. Was excited to try it but I'll go to places that are more comfortable and the coffee is served at more standard quality levels that most other place get right at the same cost. Coffee art was nice tho. read more

One of my favorite coffee shops ever! If you are a fan of places like Peixoto in Downtown Chandler.. you will LOVE this place. Whenever I'm craving a quality latte, I come here. Wow, visited this hidden gem this week on a rainy day. I ordered a hot latte with vanilla and oat milk. I am not a fan if you can't taste the coffee in the latte, this drink was one of the best I have had. Delicious. I loved it so much I went back again today for another. The coffee is a five star, customer service 5 star but it's a little pricy. 7 dollars before tip. So I will return when I want to splurge. read more

Established in 2017.

Mark was in the automotive repair industry for nearly 20 years. During that time he started making espresso drinks and his own flavored syrups at home. He has been perfecting his recipes for the past few years before opening the shop.

They give you a buzzer that will activate once your drink(s) are ready and mine were ready fairly quickly. My friend had the mango matcha and this is actually her first time trying a matcha drink. She really enjoyed it. I really liked the blueberry matcha. It had the perfect balance of tea, milk and blueberry. The sweetness was just right for me. The interior is a relaxing place to sip and sit. A lot of people thought the same thing as it was pretty busy when I was here ordering.

The shop is open from Sunday to Wednesday but closes Thursday to Saturday due to church events. It's also a popular venue for weddings and large gatherings. I emailed him that same day, and after I followed up on 5/27 he wrote back, copied the store manager, and asked me to send my phone number and a good time so we could talk it through directly. I did exactly that, same day. That was 5/27. It is now 6/9 and I have not heard a word back. No email, no call, no text. The original incident was 5/10, so we are at 30 days now. This wasn't a stray hair - that's relatively benign and sometimes happens in food prep, not great but harmless. This was a different category of foreign body in food: fragments that looked like they came off equipment, which means whatever produced them is presumably still in use, still capable of doing it again to the next person. This is what made the unresponsiveness frustrating. It's not about my daughter's one açaí bowl, it's about whether the thing that caused it ever got looked at. A simple "we looked at it, can't determine yet what happened, but we'll update you" would have been fine, but I got boilerplate "you deserve better" corporate slop. I didn't want my ego stroked, I wanted them to look into something serious. They are great at moving fast in public: their Yelp! reply was up within a day, right under my review, where everyone can see it. But the private follow-up, the part nobody else is watching, has now gone three weeks radio silent, after they were the ones who asked for my number, but never used it. Fast when it's visible, and crickets when it's not, tells you where the attention really goes. If you're reading this and trying to decide, take a little time with the reviews here, the detailed ones and the thin ones, the recent and the older, and decide for yourselves if there is a pattern or not. I'm done with them, they lost my trust. For the record, their açaí bowls when they don't contain bits of industrial machinery are pretty good, but we'll go to Swami's when we are in Oceanside and will try to find something else in the valley.

The space is cute and whimsical, though if felt a bit too cluttered for my taste. I couldn't quite grasp the overall theme aside from the clocks. Nonetheless, the staff was very friendly and helpful. I couldn't decide on coffee or matcha, so I got both. I ordered a strawberry matcha and leche flan latte. The drinks were delightful, but the flavors were subtle. I appreciate that they offer fun flavors, craft their own syrups, and don't charge extra for milk substitutes!

I love not just local coffee shops, but ones that serve actual breakfast items versus prepackaged items. I loved that you can order avocado toast, and I was excited to try recently when stopping in. The avocado toast consists of: hand smashed avocado, lemon, Himalayan sea salt and olive oil. Overall, I found it a bit underwhelming as it needed red chili flakes, fresh cracked pepper, everything bagel seasoning, or even a drizzle of balsamic glaze to elevate the flavor. Though, I appreciated the freshness of the avocado and lemon. It just needed that little bit to go from a decent avocado toast to an exceptional avocado toast! Next visit, I'd look over the menu to see if there was a toast with more flavor. Previously before this last visit, I had stopped in here once not realizing it was a mostly vegan shop and purchased a take home Hatch Mac n Cheese. I didn't realize at the time of purchasing it contained tree nut, so I gifted to my cousin who said it was delicious. A mistake on my part to read the label more carefully (laid out differently than a typical label at a store). I tend to avoid Vegan restaurants as tree nuts are heavily used, but this location has been a great compromise of offering both vegan and dairy products (serving whole milk versus cream). Lastly, this place has cozy seating and a good atmosphere. Definitely a place I can leisurely sip a drink or enjoy some avocado toast. Once I finally stopped in, I was glad I did. It's a cute little spot that's perfect when you want to quickly grab some Java and a pastry. I had the apple croissant, and it was warmed up perfectly and filled with a nice amount of apples. The prices seemed pretty average, and the staff were friendly and welcoming. Parking was also convenient, with several parking ramps across the street and additional parking around the area. One interesting thing I noticed is that there's another restaurant/business located inside, but you wouldn't really know it from the outside since the coffee shop is what's prominently advertised. I'm still not sure what type of restaurant it is or what the name is, so that was a little mysterious Overall, Aristocrat Roasters is a convenient little stop for a cup of coffee and a pastry. If you've driven past it without realizing what it was, like I did, it's worth stopping in and checking it out!

We were able to meet Paul as well, and he made us feel very welcome and you could see how invested he still is in his business, even after 10 years. So cool. I am so happy that I pulled over and visited the shop. The Baristas are super friendly and open to answering any questions you have. The service is extremely quick. The shop is unique and comfortable. It has multiple different types of chairs setups and has a lot of tables. Additionally the shop has conference rooms that you can utilize. Something fun about this shop is that they have a book library (take one, leave one). I ordered a hot la Guera Dirty Chai with oatmilk, and the only regret I have is that I didn't get a large! This chai is perfectly spiced and the espresso mixed perfectly balanced with the chai. I definitely recommend this drink, it is a gift wrapped on a bow (literally)!
