One of our favorite spots for our entire family (and pets)! With indoor and outdoor seating, and a hidden seating area featuring beautiful birds in the back. This place is an oasis. Not to mention the wonderful coffee and food! My favorite is the build your own breakfast sandwich: croissant, scrambled egg, turkey and feta + side salad. Looking for a sweet treat? Butterscotch scones are our family's favorite and always 10/0

The Coffee Shop is unassuming at first approach. One you have a taste of the food and libations, you'll nod in agreement. The Coffee Shop is good. Located in a small shopping destination, you'll enter through doors on either side and find the counter to grab a menu and place your order. A number will be handed to you and you'll find a variety of seating options. Do you like patio seating? They've got it Table for Two? Sure Larger group, maybe studying or business meeting? They can accommodate. Whatever your seating needs, I'd say they've got it. What did I order? - Cookie Butter Latte 4/5 - The Boss Panini on Sourdough 5/5 I had just finished a business meeting with a neighboring business and a hankering for a good latte and a bite. My client said, "I've got just the spot, order The Boss, and no matter which latte you have, you won't be disappointed" Break it down: - Cookie Butter Latte is something I've not yet seen on any other cafe menu and so I had to try it. The coffee shop baristas prepared it very well. Balanced and flavorful on all notes. - The Boss. A simple sandwich of the most elementary of ingredients. Turkey, Bacon, Avocado, sourdough etc etc... all the more reason to give The Coffee Shop the highest praise. When you have something so straight forward, it's the assembly and the quality of the ingredients, also the balance. The bread was so nice, toasted just right, with each bite, holding together all the layers. No chance for a mess, and no chance for any bite to miss any opportunity for full flavor. Proportionately distributed turkey to bacon to cheddar and mayo. Either it was a luck of the draw or the kitchen is just that damn good . Possibly, the most impeccably prepared sandwich I've had all year. Why only 4 stars? Well, the wait time was a little long. Talk about nearly 20 minutes from sitting down with my latte till the sandwich came out. Would I come back? Absolutely. I highly recommend to anyone in Gilbert. In my book, when you talk about a coffee shop, The Coffee Shop is the best game in town.

The Coffee Shop is just that, a cute little coffee shop located in Agritopia offering speciality beverages, classic cafe offerings, pastries including gluten free and an ample line up of various flavors of Whoopie pies and quite a few brunch offerings. I've been a handful of times, as I love the entire community of shops, but only for coffee so I cannot speak for their other offerings at this time. They were bumpin this fine Sunday morning, with a majority of their tables filled with families and groups, they offer a fair amount of indoor and outdoor seating. We weren't hanging out, but definitely be prepared for a potential wait, as it's a hot spot. My mom got one of their seasonal specials, a peaches and cream latte. My husband and I shared their other special, an iced pistachio latte ( with half syrup) Both were good, sweet as to be expected, neither I would rush back to order. They use Monin syrup, but I would love to see some homemade syrups, at least for their seasonal or special beverages. Even with a line and constant guests, they got the drinks out quickly and were staffed well! I definitely would like to try some of their pastries or brunch next time I'm in the area! Parking can be hit or miss with the area, so definitely something else to keep in mind.

I stopped in last week with my girlfriends. It was a bigger place than i was expecting. The line was long but moved fairly quickly. I got a cookie butter iced latte with an extra shot and it was just okay. I didn't really like i could taste the cookie butter that much? but maybe my drink was just took strong. The vibes were okay, but some of the workers seemed miserable to be there and that always is a kind a knock down for me. They have a pretty decent menu. I would probably try something to eat next time. maybe not from the pastry case as there were flies hanging out in there (which I can understand happens, but seeing it was not appealing)

We had a group bike ride in the area and stopped for brunch. I enjoyed the breakfast burrito but could only eat half. It was just as good the next day at home. We also had the yogurt with granola and fruit. Everything was good and the service was great.

Causal coffee, breakfast, and lunch spot! This place gets very busy so go early! Must get the scones! They are so moist and one of the best scones! I heard the cupcakes are really good too so will get that next time! I got the indio panini and it was delicious! The simple garlic vinaigrette on the salad was a perfect complement to the sandwich. My husband got the supreme burrito. It was good, but nothing extraordinary. There's indoor and outdoor seating areas! Great place for family and friends meetup!

The place is called "the Coffee Shop" and they screwed up my coffee order! ‍ I ordered a "small cappuccino with 2% milk" and ended up with a cup with one shot of espresso in it. I let the barista know when I picked up my order and she graciously made me a cappuccino instead. Unfortunately, the cappuccino was pretty underwhelming. I also ordered a Harvest Bowl, which is a breakfast bowl with kale and quinoa. It was under seasoned (there really was no seasoning at all). Though this place seemed pretty busy, I was able to grab a table outside and enjoy the ambiance. I sat out back on the patio and the weather was lovely.

I enjoyed the coffee shop! I was disappointed that the salted maple was sold out because I was so excited for it. I ordered a gingerbread latte instead, which was good. It's a great environment to study, hang out with friends, or just to grab and go! The service was pretty quick and the place was clean. I'd come back again, hoping to try another flavor of latte and maybe get some food!

This is a great family-friendly and pet-friendly breakfast place. You can sit inside or outside or any place in Agritopia. The service was friendly and expedient for a cafeteria style cafe. We ordered coffee and breakfast burritos. The homemade salsa was SO fresh and highly recommend. I had the Spanish coffee, it was refreshing. Highly recommend you try this café.

I have fallen in love with this spot! Great selection of coffee drinks hot/cold! Staff is always friendly and helpful. Great place to have a quick coffee meeting or relax and have a work day. Great atmosphere to sit outside and read a book. They also have a good sandwich and pastry menu. Plenty of parking. Seating inside can fill up quickly but it's planting of outside seating which is great this time of year but during the summer may not be so good. It's also next door to a breakfast spot that I hear is very good but I haven't tried yet. Overall I highly recommend if your a person that like to have coffee meetings and working outside the office you should try this place! Parking 5/5 Location 5/5 Coffee 5/5 Atmosphere 5/5 Service 5/5 Return Factor 5/5

    Spanish latte and Banana latte
    Camilla M.

It was not super busy, but semi busy, it is a Saturday morning! There was not a terrible line or wait. There was no available seating inside, and it is very hot today so that was not the best thing. We got the banana latte and a Spanish latte. They were not bad! The banana latte is on their summer menu, there is an option to make it a banana split and add whip cream and chocolate drizzle. The Spanish latte doesn't have much flavor if it was supposed to. The coffee taste is great though!

Do they accept cash? Or have they gone to only digital transactions like Joe's Farm Grill?

Last time I went (2 weeks ago) they accepted cash!

    Is this place still open?

    Yes

It's happened a couple times now where it will not accept online orders and the voice message says to order online. Suggestions?

I d try and call to speak to someone directly. They may just be experiencing phone issues, but I was there yesterday and they were very busy.

    Is this business dog friendly?

The coffee shop is very dog friendly! There are many tables in the back and front outside. I saw 4 dogs there the day I went. I'm going to bring my Aussie next time I go!

Are there enough plugs for laptops?

Yes, when I was there there was quite a few people using plug ins for laptops

Do they have organic milk options?

    Yes

Do they have good WiFi here? I'm wanting to check out all the local coffee spots to sit and get some work done :)

    Yes, very good wifi

Everyone was friendly, attentive, and made us feel welcome throughout our visit. My only real criticism is that the menu felt a bit limited, especially for vegetarians. There weren't many vegetarian options available, which could make it difficult for some people to find something that appeals to them. My son had ordered food from here as takeout last year. The food taste was interesting, though, I really like the cheese dip for the pretzel bites. The bites were pretty big. Lots of tables at this location, a bit warm. But our party of 14 was easily accommodated. Our daughter chose this place and it was quite loud. My husband and I are quiet people, so if we were to choose again, probably not here because of the loudness and all the TVs all over the place. But for those who like it loud, TVs and do not mind the prices on the menu, have at it. I don't remember our server's name. If she told us, I couldn't hear what she said. She was alright. Honestly, I had a hard time hearing even my son who sat next to me, and hearing my sister who sat one seat over in front of me, I couldn't hear what she was saying. Loudness is an issue for me and I do not have hearing issues. Our bill with tip came to over $700+. That was the most expensive lunch we've ever spent for our party of 14. Typically we're in the $400-500 range. But it was a special occasion. My husband and son got the 36 hr ribs. My husband really loved them. My son said it was okay. I didn't ask my brother and BIL who also got the same dish. I know my BIL was unhappy that he didn't get the side he requested and when they gave it to him (asparagus, I think), it was cold and he wasn't pleased about this. I got the hub burger and it was okay. There was a lot on the burger, but the patty itself, didn't have that much flavor. Some of the "Starters" or appetizers things were salted too much, but the burger did not taste like it had any salt. I had eaten too many starters so when my food came, I wasn't very hungry and took most of it home and ate for dinner another night. My husband and son do not like coleslaw and I ate theirs. THIS I really liked and tasted much better than KFC. I loved the sweetness and that the cabbage was shredded bigger than KFC. The pretzel bites were good. We got wings, and they were so-so. The roasted brussel sprouts were too salty. The deviled eggs were okay, but pricey for 2.5 eggs, which I do pay at Trader Joe's for organic free range pasturized eggs I could've gotten over 2 dozens. But, yes, I pay for the service and ambiance. I really thought there would be more than 5 halves for the deviled eggs. We got the nachos and they were okay. The melted cheese sauce was the best part. My mom got the fish and chips and she seemed to pick at it. She didn't want to take home, so it must not have been that good because she almost always takes a doggy bag home. My sister had the salmon and it was in a huge bowl and didn't look to be that much food. It was pricey. One of my SILs got something I didn't recognize and she said it was okay. No one I could tell was over the moon with the taste of the food and I heard the word "interesting" quite a bit. It's not that it tasted bad, but it didn't really taste good good. You know what I mean? I did bring a special order cake I got at Nothing Bundt Cakes in Gilbert. I asked Culinary Dropout if we could borrow a cake cutter. They didn't have one. Weird. This was a Red Velvet cake and this was absolutely divine. It was moist. The frosting was some sort of yummy cream cheese frosting. The cake was perfectly sized for our party of 14. The cake was the best part of our meal and it didn't come from Culinary Dropout. I would pay this much for a meal at Roy's for lunch for this sized party, but alas, all the Roy's in the valley are closed down. So sad. I'm not saying this place is bad or the food tastes bad. It's okay and pricey. If the food was great or amazing, we don't mind pricey. We have paid over $1K for meals for our big party, and happily do so when the food is equivalent to the price.

My friend and I both ordered mediums with 75% sweetness, and it was the perfect drink for a hot, humid summer morning. Sweet enough to feel like a treat without being over the top. I could probably put that on just about anything. The vibes are wonderful too. It's cozy, welcoming, and the kind of coffee shop where you want to linger with a friend for a while. My only critique is the layout of the front room. There always seems to be a line, but there's not really a good place for it to go besides in front of the entrance and the water station. It turns into a lot of "excuse me" and people weaving around each other. It's definitely a good problem to have because they're clearly popular, but I hope as they continue to flourish, they're able to expand into a larger space or rethink the flow a bit. Either way, I'll absolutely be back. Just save me another coconut brown sugar latte.
