Spacious warehouse venue with a varied selection of draft beers and at a great price! I couldn't decide which beer to go for and the guy behind the counter started pouring me samples. Ultimately, I ended up getting with Uncontrolled Progress and the Siklon Coffee Stout. It's rare that I get two beers in one sitting but a couple of beers caught my eye (No, it wasn't because of the ABV content). The descriptions legitimately sounded interesting and unique to me and service was generous and friendly. No food served here but there's a legit pizza place right next door. Pizza and beer - what a comfort combination.

Picked up food from Smelleys Creole, around the corner, and found Brix. It was perfect being able to sit outside, dog friendly. Good beer selection. Super friendly staff. Their hazies were really good. They even had a couple of sour beers.

I really wanted to like this spot more because the staff was so great, but I will have to try some other libations next time. The POG seltzer was a miss for me, though wifey enjoyed her flight. Great vibe, and there was a mix of families and couples/small groups of friends. They offer seating indoor or outdoors which was nice and they are dog friendly.

Good beer. Cool relaxed vibe. Friendly folks. You can't bring your pizza from June's Pizza next door.

Came here before an Oakland Ballers game. Enjoyed some beers and the hard seltzer. Plenty of seating inside and out and 10 minute walk to ballpark. I'm not a beer drinker so enjoyed the POG hard seltzer. We came back after the game and enjoyed June's pizza is next door. Service is friendly and kind. Nice spot.

Brix Factory Brewing opened recently in a prvacated warehouse space. The murals outside as well as signage "Made in West Oakland" were here before the opening. Offerings: 12 made in site draft beers of various styles with low abv's. Bbq vendor outside. Great for slow sipping with friends and/or watching a game. Quick courteous service. Got samples. Prefer the porter over the hazy style Sips: "Rock Fall" (6) 16oz. 3.8% abv. -has the characteristics of a porter without the high abv's. Smooth Pour showcases brewing skills. Bites: all beef dog (Nathan's 7) with name brands of brown mustard, relish, sauerkraut). Vender knows his Q. Perfecto but for the burnt bun... 4ish stars...small parking lot. A ramp is available for those who need it.

    Flight and dog friendly!

I love beer so I had to come check Brix Factory Brewing out on their opening weekend. I met a friend, and we ended up staying for about two hours, because it has such a great vibe. Brix is in an old industrial building and has plenty of seating inside at a long bar or tables. There was also an outside area, but it was raining on Saturday when we were there. The whole space is open, and I love the fact that you can see the whole brewery operation in the back corner. Brix had eight beers on tap, and I was able to try all of them by getting two flights (four pours in each flight). Brix had the beers split up by "light," "hoppy," and "malty" characteristics. I'm usually a hoppy fan, but I really enjoyed "The Eye of Tazman," which is a light Pilsner and the "Lemon Theory," which is a light summer ale at only 3.8% ABV. You can drink it all day! All of the beertenders were friendly and Brix is even dog friendly! What's not to love about a place where your furry friend can come? I'm excited to see what new brews come out in the coming months.

WELCOME TO WEST OAKLAND BRIX! This new brewery on the west side opened up less than a month ago and has all the essentials for a spring/summer fun day in the sun. - Plenty of Outdoor seated on a patio - Really spacious indoor seating - Plenty of hours in direct and indirect sunlight - Great variety of beers on tap I tried the Siklon Stout which was very good. Served at a great temp and not too foamy. The servers are experienced, some coming over from the very popular Almanac brewing company so they are used to handling big groups and educating on what they have on tap. Prices were very reasonable. Come show the new business some love, I for sure will be venturing back this summer many times.

Got lucky and parked two blocks away. 10 of their beers on tap; the rest are guest taps. So of course, I had to try their $3 signature Lager - Too light for me, basically you get what you pay for. Next... Pale Ale - $7, now that's more like it! No IPA today, so I had to settle. My daughter got the Yard Bird, Strawberry Lemonade Beer. Suits her. Ready for my 3rd beer, when my daughter said she wanted to go home and party some more?!?! So I abided. Lovely's restaurant is also here on the premises. See pictures and other 5 star Yelp review. Ambiance - Cool space. Lots of semi private spaces that you can rent. See pictures or their website. Very kid and dog friendly! Unisex restrooms with outside sinks, thank you! NO parking! So bad on a Saturday evening that we almost did not come. Open 6 days a week - see picture or their website. Closed on Mondays. Service - Counters service. For both the bar and Lovely's. The outdoor bar has WAY faster service than the inside bar, just an FYI. Price - Affordable, especially for the Bay Area. When I went to close out my tab at the bar, the staff member who came over to help me gave me the dirtiest, impatient, pissed-off look that I've ever received in my life. It was as if I had kicked his dog and personally insulted him, his family and his entire generational line. When he gave me the payment device, he must have accidentally navigated away from correct screen because I didn't have any options to close out my tab (i.e. there was no tip screen, or place to request a receipt). I handed the device back to him and before I could point out the issue, he snatched the device away and rushed off. Knowing something was wrong, I waited at the counter for a few minutes for him to return. I raised the billing issue and his curt response was "you must have waited too long and the screen disappeared -- you're fine". I returned to my table knowing that something was off, but left with my friends since they needed to head out to a dinner reservation. After we had said our goodbyes to our friends outside the brewery, I shared the strange interaction I had closing out my tab with my wife, and as a precaution, she recommended that we head back to the brewery to try to close out the tab again, just in case something was overlooked. I thought this was a good idea, but this time, asked my wife to try to close out my tab, as I didn't want to experience the wrath of the impatient staff member again. To absolutely nobody's surprise, the tab was not closed out! This staff member is by far, the rudest individual that I've encountered in the service industry and should reconsider their employment if they hate customer interactions this much. Truly appalled by my experience and won't be coming back anytime soon. If management wants to investigate the issue further, the tab was opened at the outside bar at 8/14/26 4:23 PM, check #35, and was transacted on by three separate staff members: 1) first person who opened the tab was friendly 2) second person who added on the second round of drinks was the same rude individual who didn't correctly close out my tab later in the evening, and 3) the third staff member was the one who finally properly closed out the tab with my wife at 7:11 PM.
