I messaged Chris about a refund on 5/18/23; his reply on 5/18/23 was a company policy response. So, I asked him on 5/22/23 to wash my wife's car with the gift card and Chris agreed, and confirmed my appointment. However, Chris no-showed again, without calling or texting. We will no longer be requesting his services. He does a good job when he does show up, but he can no longer be trusted. We are out the money we paid to him on 3/10/23.

Chris came on time to my place and I showed him the suv inside and out to show him the condition of the vehicle. (Christmas tree remnants and tons of dog hair) After viewing the condition he confirmed that it would be $130 as quoted through messages on Yelp. Chris started working on the suv, about 30 minutes into it he contacts me and states he has to charge more, an additional $50 so now a total of $180 for the services. I told him that what changed? His response was that the condition of the car was worse than he visually saw. Ok, so that can happen, I obliged and agreed $180. Then he stated that he had to finish the job the next day due to the weather. (It started raining consistently.) A deposit was required so I paid him $100 cash. (My mistake, I know that electronic payment formats will take a percentage and so I wanted to make sure he gets all the money.) We agreed on the next date and time. The next day and time he contacted me to state that he had a medical emergency with a family member and had to reschedule, also with the weather being consistently rain, I was ok with that. We then set a hard date and time for him to come. No contact, multiple calls, texts, messages on Yelp and not a single word. Chris has left me hanging. It's been a week since the initial work started. Sunday January 8 was when he was supposed to complete it. I haven't head from him since Saturday January 7. I am extremely disappointed in Chris and his work. No good deed goes unpunished. I should've paid with a credit card so that I could dispute the charges. I want my money back, at this point I don't even want him to complete the work. This is my first negative review ever on Yelp. I'm sad to do it. Even more so for a small business owner but Chris, you can't do this to your customers. Please make this right, contact me back and give me my deposit. Thank you.

We keep our trailer stored in a covered area but because the late afternoon sun hits the front in the afternoon and caused the front cone to oxidize. I originally gave this man a 1 star review. He then responded to my review claiming that he would like another chance to earn my business. I then followed up with him, and he said that he no longer wished to earn my business (because I gave him a bad review). I then reminded him that on Yelp he wanted my business still. So I deleted my negative review of him and replaced it with a 5 star. He never acknowledged that and still wouldn't service my vehicle. I always will give businesses a second chance, especially if they ask for it. I know that a negative review for a small business can be hurtful. The original reason for the bad review was he changed my time for my appointment, then he had to cancel the first appointment, and the next appointment he had to postpone because his wife got in an accident. Totally understandable, but he was back to work the next day, and couldn't fit me in for another 6 days. It was just a negative review for his dependability.

After 2.5 hours and a full brake and rotor job on all 4, I was on my way home to Oakland! Plus, Juan gave me a list of a few things for my local bay area mechanic to check out.
