I am not a bitter person or trying to put this place down. As a customer, you have to protect yourself from any dishonest merchants. I have been a customer for this shop for years but I decided not to return to do any business. I have purchased a number of tires for my cars. Before you purchase, I recommend you to check the DOT dates on the tires. They are usually old and old tires are not safe, and also check the tires visually with your own eyes if there are any plug-ins, repairs and/or patches. I have a couple of experiences that tires were fixed and I was not told about it before purchase was made. The shop employee would not tell you anything any way. Everything is on your shoulders. And if you already purchased tires, you may want to check when tires are manufactured. read more

The price is great 340 for all 4 tires 225/40rz18, but they tightened everything too tight I can't even take my own wheels off to do a brake job and I have an electric torch wrench now they want me to drive all the way back to sb just to loosen my fuckin bolts so I can do my front brakes. Do not use this place, they are a chop shop for tires, went in there got 4 tires, they put them on about an hour later and everything was okay, not pleased with their service ( speaking Spanish would be a plus if you go here ) So about a week later I start finding the tire weights right by the tire and the cheap residue on my wheel so I know it's from them. It's been about 2 weeks now and I have almost a pound of tire weights that should be on my tires. I could tell there was an issue because of the shaking at freeway speeds. Buyer beware!!!! read more

I just had a terrible experience at Bro Tires. I found this place at Yelp, it was close to where I was at the moment and it had decent reviews, so I decided to try it. I just needed one used tire because I'm hoping to get new wheels soon. In the beginning the service was good, but the person that was helping me couldn't do much because he said he was just a worker and that I needed to talk to the manager, who wasn't there. The manager arrived 5 minutes later, his name is Javier. He wasn't friendly at all and he gave the impression that he was working in a bad mood. Already being there I was considering on buying two tires, I showed him the second one I was thinking of replacing and asked him if he would suggest changing it. He basically didn't care, he just said that it was my choice, I asked again and he repeated the answer, so I told him "this is your job and you should know which option is better." In the end he didn't even make the effort to helpf. The price of the tire was good, and because of this I decided to go ahead and just do one. While I was waiting for them to start the service I inspected the tire I was buying and noticed that it had a nail, I told the manager about it and he said they would patch it if necessary. I already knew the nail didn't go through the tire but I just wanted to let them know in case I had a problem. The worker came by to start the job and he said that I couldn't be standing there, which is understandable, but I told him that before he told me to go he needed to know which tire I wanted replaced. It seems that he didn't like that because after this his attitude was the same as the manager's, terrible. After he finished mounting the tire on the wheel I asked to see the hole that the nail left, but he said that the job was already done and wasn't willing to show me the tire. So I asked him that I wanted to see the nail he took out, which he also refused doing saying that he already had disposed of it. His attitude was really bad so at this point I started complaining about their service, the worker was getting heated up and the manager went out to calm him down. I told the manager that I understood that I was buying a used tire but that it was my right to know everything about the product. He told me that "I was too picky" and he walked away. Everything was almost done at this point so it was basically too late to walk away. Tires are an extremely important thing, your safety depends on them. At Bro Tires they showed me they don't care about the customer (or any concerns they might have) and that they hate their job. Unless you are in the area and are in a desperate need for a tire, I would definitely recommend to go somewhere else. read more

The guy who "only sells" the tires. He either knew nothing about tires or thought he could play the dumb card. I brought my own tire thread depth gauge. Some tires were lower than advertised. His response: "we use our own measuring tools" & "I only sell tires, I don't know." Went to check another tire for the best thread. Ask him what's this extra piece. He didn't even look and said "I don't know." I proceeded to ask if there is someone who does know? He decides to pull the tire from its stack and tells me to inspect it... There is a patch. I understand you get what you pay for. However i don't want to buy patched up tires with misleading thread depth, or deal with someone who can't answer simple questions about the product they are selling. IF YOU GET YOUR USED TIRES ANYWHERE ELSE IN SAN BERNARDINO, THEN YOU'RE A BLOODY IDIOT! Now if that doesn't grab your attention, then I don't know what will!! But seriously folks, these guys were incredibly fast with their service, incredibly fair with their prices (the used tire I bought had 90% tread of a new tire, but I paid $75 instead of $115 for each one....I bought 2), and most importantly; THEY KEPT THEIR WORD! I called for an appointment, and he told me that if I was in there by 4:00, he'd have me out by 4:30. Sure enough, two dudes were on my car, lickety-split (when's the last time you read or heard that phrase)!! This included the time it took for them to answer some of my stupid questions! They even know what they're doing with TPMS tires. My light was on after they fixed it, and I brought it back in before I even pulled fully out of their driveway. The mechanic said, "Oh...That's nothing. Just wait for it to reset." Now I won't lie to you. I thought "Ahhh, here's where I get stung for saving money...That dang light is going to be on until 2024." Guess what? Dude was right! The light went off, and everything is fine. I rarely review businesses other than restaurants, but this place kicked major a** when it comes to buying quality used tires (I bought Goodyear Eagles 205/70/16...Go look up what those suckers cost out the door!). BroTires is definitely worth heading to; even if you're as far away as Colton, Rialto, or anywhere within 20 miles. I really mean this. Call and find out for yourself, before your tire blows out on you, and you get stuck at one of the big boys places as they ream you for triple digits per tire. read more

I looked up this place after getting frustrated calling for TWO WEEKS waiting by another tire shop for the same size tires which never seemed to be in. Just like a reviewer wrote earlier, the big advantage this shop has over the others is its REAL TIME INVENTORY (I saw what I wanted on their website; I called to confirm. I went over & by the time I paid/walked out the door, they were promptly taken off the inventory list). In earnest, I didn't receive any further discount like another female reviewer wrote, nor was I expecting any. Everything was so simple & not a moment of wasted time. We went back to the car after eating and "although i have a favorite tire shop nearby she wanted to go here since" we found her tire flat. The parking lot was empty so it did not really seemed like this place was not open. Apparently the side street is the entrance to the service area those where open. A gentleman who was really polite help us. we asked for the a quick tire swap and he showed us some selections but nothing lower than $40 or so we asked if he had anything cheaper and he said not at the moment in out size. that tire was in great condition but i'm use to paying 25-35 for a 15 tire even if it is semi new it is still a used tire. getting to the point. For a used tire its too expensive the location is a bit odd and out of place since it looks closed. other than the fact that there is a Mexican food place right in front of it i don't see the benefit of coming here. read more

I went in yesterday on my lunch because I could feel one of my tires were low and I could feel tugging. I mentioned to the man that my husband put air in one of the tires the night before and the light went on again and that I probably had a nail in one of the tires. The business was empty and the 2 employees were watching a soccer game. The tech went out and a couple minutes later returned and said that the tires were all low and needed air and they just charged me a tip. They didn't lift my car and I didn't hear any drill bits being take off or anything . This morning I came out to a flat tire, I changed it and lone and behold there was a very obvious screw in the tire!This made me so made being that I have 2 small children and God forbid I got into a accident because a tech didn't want to miss the game. I always go to El caballo on 5th and L and they are ALWAYS helpful and diligent, not to mention their prices are lower(they charged my $5 for a tire plug and last time this place charged me $15). Took my Expedition in to have front and rear brakes put on. I was told I needed rear rotors, no problem. I was going on a trip so I wanted to put my stick rims on. I had 24in black rims that I've had on for about 2 months. I figured it wouldn't be a charge to put my stock rims since they had remove all 4 anyway and there wasn't a charge. I get home to unload my 24 in rim( rims were already loaded in my truck by the tech when the said my vehicle was finished) on each time there are chips and scratches where the lug holes are, apparently they didn't use the correct adapter. These rims did not have a scratch on them and I and careful and I made sure to inspect them all when I had them put on 2 months ago, they have not been touched except for washing them since them. I immediately called the owner and told him, of course he played the I don't understand card. He then said I didn't work on it, uh yeah but your employee did. I told him I'd be back in a week as I was leaving to go out of town that day. He said he will talk to the guy. I'm going back on Sat 1/4/20 we'll see what he says. I'm letting him know he can purchase new wheels and keep the damages ones and sell them to recoup some monies. read more

Recently I needed 2 tires for my Nissan 200sx (175/65/14) and I found these online. Their website is great because it gives real time inventory and when they had my size I just went in at lunch to get the replacement tire. Each tire for me was $25 out the door, service was quick and fast. The person helping me is named Frank, he was very nice and helped a lot. I bought the tires a week of each other due to them only having one in stock the initial time.
