I appreciate being able to make an appointment. Management: A customer waiting in line in the lobby is MORE IMPORTANT than someone calling in. It sends the WRONG MESSAGE to customers when staff take a call in front of the person that has been patiently waiting. This is a MANAGEMENT ISSUE that needs to be addressed. read more

I came in with two run-flat tires and two regular tires. One of my run-flats had a cut in the sidewall, so I asked to replace only that tire. Instead, they insisted another tire had no tread left. I checked myself and agreed it needed replacement. Then they pushed me to replace a third tire, again claiming it had no tread. At that point, I ended up replacing three tires total, even though I originally came in for just one. They also repeatedly tried to convince me to replace my remaining run-flat tires, which I declined. Two weeks later, while driving to school, one of my tires suddenly dropped to 0 PSI. I managed to get to a gas station, but the tire wouldn't hold air, so I had it towed to another America's Tire nearby. That's when I found out NONE of my tires were run-flats anymore. This location either misled me or outright swapped out my run-flat tire without my consent. I paid for multiple replacements I likely didn't need and lost a more expensive tire in the process. I strongly recommend avoiding this location and getting a second opinion before agreeing to any work. read more

Shoutout to the staff here! I had a tire blowout on the freeway (talk about a day ) and came in to get both my front tires replaced and have them rotate my tires. The staff was so friendly and informative -- it never felt like they were trying to upsell me. You can tell they genuinely just want to help while giving you options. So... I didn't plan on a new set of tires when I got out of my car to go to the gym this morning and saw a metal head of screw stuck in my front tire. Their reader showed two of my tires in the red zone on the tread and I trust them, I knew that I was due for new ones soon. About 3 hours later waiting in the lobby, a little poorer and hungry, but you know what made it all worth it? The young kid head banging through the glass window put a smile on my face, as well as everyone else working their asses off in that bay. I couldn't be mad over wait on a Saturday with no appointment, especially after going through this just last weekend with my fiancees car with an appointment. America's tire is pretty consistent with nice employees. Came to this location for a routine tire rotation. Value is also always consistent at the ones I go to. I want to say it took about 15 mins to wait in line to check in for an appt, maybe like 45 for my car to be pulled back, for the tire rotation to be about like 7 mins itself. This Americas tire is smaller than other locations I've been to, so I believe this makes it a little slower and busier than I'm used to with an appointment. read more

Small parking available in front. I made an appointment but you still need to wait because of walk ins. Denrick was very friendly and showed me options of what I could purchase. I've bought here before but it was four years ago. My tires lasted that long. I had to purchase all four tires because they were worn out. It took over an hour to wait while they replaced all four set of tires. You can either wait in their lobby because there's chairs there or go shopping for nearby at the grocery store. The price for the tires were a good value. Since I work remotely, I just needed tires for street driving and occasional highway driving. read more

Purchased four new tires, had them align my SUV. Had a tire that kept getting flats. I kept returning to them to get it repaired. Fourth time in they started to badmouth the tires they sold me. After they told the tire was not repairable, and I needed a new one. Less than 3,000 miles, they were prorating me. I did not purchase the "extended warranty" so I have to pay. I had them put on a BFG. The right front tire was near bald on the inside, new tread on the outside, 4.700 miles. They were prorating me, almost the cost of a new tire, c'mon, less than 5k and no warranty? Said I could pay for another alignment. I toldf them I'll be back next week when the tire comes in. They offered a discount on the new tire as it was their alignment was not so good. I purchased the same tire at another tire shop. No discount. $120.00 less in price. I consider them thieves, that refuse to accept responsibility for the work they do improperly, that cost costs me, a retired and disabled man, a lot of money. read more

I really don't know what I'm doing with cars. I have been using a car for about one year, and regularly learn things like "you're supposed to use headlights at night", "you're supposed to get your car looked at every once in a while," and "hey, what does this button do?" The fact that I am legally allowed to drive is an indictment of the entire vehicular licensing system in this state. As such, I write this from the perspective of the really bottom of the barrel car-knowledge. I got a notice on my car that my car is having tire pressure issues - namely that the top-right tire of mine is low on pressure. Apparently this might mean I have a flat tire or something, so I rolled into this place on a family recommendation and tried to figure out what was going on. A very helpful employee immediately flagged me down, figured out what was wrong, and had me move my car around to confirm what was wrong. They hooked it up to a machine and then gave me an easy-to-understand explanation of what was wrong (apparently modern cars don't actually measure how much air in your tires - they use the relative rotation of your tires to determine one is relatively low on air before hitting the panic button. Apparently, my top-left was slightly above average and top-right slightly below average.) Anyways, they fixed everything and sent me on my way. It was extremely fast and easy, and I left having a slightly less bad understanding of how cars work. Overall a great experience and uh, I hope I don't have to go back here very often (because I hope I don't get problems), but I don't dread it at least, because of how helpful they were! read more

Yet again I had problems on the road and it seems like a have a love hate relationship with my tires, I also feel like that about America tires, but they have stepped up to their promise when it comes to purchasing the road hazzard warranty. I had a semi truck in front of me on the highway, and the tire flew and hit the side of my tire gashing my tire so I took it to America tire & it was replaced at no charge only having to pay the new road hazard on my new replaced tire, although I had recently bought 4 new tires this is where my love hate relationship comes from. I always do my tire rotations with America's tire. Been a customer since 2020 first at West Covina (bought tires here), Moreno Valley and now here in Colton. I do Tire rotations service with america's tire and its always free but somehow this shop at colton charged me $80. The guy even tried up-selling me lifetime tire rotations for $100, didnt get it as I'm doubtful for a service that'ts used to be free. I paid coz I thought they changed policy coz when I asked the guy told me that it'll be free if I bought a tire and its just a one time free. I have no time to check if the guy is saying it right before coming in for the service so decided to just asked here in Yelp if its still free while waiting for the service to be done. Came in to check air in my tires, service guy recommended a Rotation & Balance.... However, after the service was done, I noticed my brake peddle not stopping and a fresh puddle underneath my car. I informed the staff and one of the workers said my brake line has a pin hole where it's leaking. I informed the Manager that my car wasn't leaking when I came in and now all of a sudden my line is damaged. He apologized, said it wasn't their fault and gave me a coupon to brake masters. My husband told me to get the car's tire pressure checked here since we switched cars and I have my 1 year old son with me. I have never been here before, but my husband has purchased several tires from here as well as having his air pressure checked as well. My husband told me to just to pull into it. Again, I've never been here before so I parked forward facing to the area. I accidentally hit some of their cones in the process of trying to get into position. A male worker with highlights (didn't see his name tag) approached me as I rolled down my window to ask about the pressure check. He was clearly upset and responded very unprofessional and rude because I entered in the wrong way and I hit their cones. He told me to get out and go to the back of the line. Nick came by who was 100 times more professional and explained everything to me. However, I was told my air pressure was off cause of the spare and that I needed ti get to the back of the line. Honestly, I didn't want to even come here as it was nearing my son's nap but my husband said I had to as it's the safest thing to do. To top it off, I had to deal with a worker so unkind. So my girlfriend was driving my car and she ran over a nail and she came to this store because her mom told her they were great. After taking the wheel off for the patch, the sales rep told her that the previous place did not patch it correctly since they didn't fill it. They would not put the tire back on and let her go unless she bought a new set of tires, or they said they can loan her a set of tires since they said it wasn't "safe." Instead she had them put the spare on. She drove to the tire shop that fixed the tire previously, and when they took out the tire we saw that it WAS patched correctly. They also saw that the spare tire was flat and checked it and showed that it was 15/60 PSI. Since safety is number 1 priority for America's Tires, they won't patch a tire from another place in favor of coercing another sale. Separately, last time I came here personally to check out a humming noise from my car, this place wanted me to replace my suspension. Turned out, my tires weren't rotated correctly. Anyways, if you don't know anything about cars, they would try anything to rip you off. And letting my girlfriend drive home with under inflated flat vs. fixing the puncture, you guys deserve to get sued for your you greed. read more

I then spoke to Gilbert who says he is one of the managers. He says there are no cameras inside the bay where work is done. I definitely recommend tire shopping. I compared Costco Tires, Goodyear, PepBoys, Walmart and two local competitors. America's Tire was significantly cheaper for a higher quality tire for a 12' BMW. The price is stupid good including all the perks. Let's say $900-$1,300 was the competition and I paid way under. . I highly encourage you make an appointment. Ask for Robert. He was phenomenal with scheduling an appointment and extended a military discount for me when it wasn't going through online on my end. If you don't schedule an appointment. You're waiting anywhere from one hour and beyond. I arrived 10 minutes prior to my appointment. From start to finish I was out in 45 minutes. They follow every COVID-19 measure. They have outdoor seating for clients under a canopy. I would suggest appointments in the morning as it does get incredibly hot in Colton. It was a nice day and not warm at all.
