Our Captain (Michael) was awesome and SO SO SO good with our kids. Some kids were daredevils and others were super nervous and he had the best way with all the kids. He very easily got them comfortable and ensured everyone was having fun. But at the same time, he was really careful and safe - ensuring everyone was following proper rules and safety guidelines. Of our whole week at Lake Lure, kids said that hour of tubing was their favorite activity of the vacation. PLUS Marshall Steam Station is close by to warm up the water the whole year 'round so you can catch all of the fish most of the time and some of the fish all the time and most people can eat most of them mostly. ...so how about it?

We had an issue with the boat while we were out with the family, however a quick text message and 5 minutes later they came out and helped diagnose the issue. Because it wasn't a quick fix, they transferred us to another boat immediately and let us get on our way. A+++ service and I would def. use them again the next time we stay on Lake Lure.

We are new to the area and actually in the market to buy a boat. I thought what a perfect way to check out the waterway and give my dad a great day. Unfortunately upon checking in at the marina for my online booking, I was told our boat had no gas (fuel is included with rental fyi), something this marina does not have available for its patrons. I would think there are daily protocols to ensure all boats are ready for the next day of rentals. But alas, we were left without a pontoon. I was told by the lady that someone would be reaching out to correct and make it right, but it's been a week and nothing. I think they also could've brought another boat down from their other marina or gas to at least get us to a marina to fill up properly. (Literally a gas station a mile away) They told me maybe two hours to get some gas, but our day was already scheduled out due to flights and such. I don't appreciate poor service, especially when this could've been avoided entirely. I did receive a full refund, but that doesn't cover my dad's disappointment. And while I prefer to support locally, I think I need to explore other marinas.

The service here is unbeatable. They really go above and beyond from the moment you show up, till the moment you leave. All the boys down at the dock were very friendly and helpful. The most shining part is when we left our phone in the vessel upon returning. Phone nowhere to be found and the business was closed. I was able to contact their office and their staff helped locate the boat, send someone out to pickup the device (miles away from the dock) and drive it all the way back for us. Huge shoutout to everyone who helped. 100% going to be a returning customer on future visits and 100% recommend them to anyone considering.
