So for those who pronounce Navesink in two syllables with a long "a", and say 7 Bridge Road and remember when Stobles Bar was still there it's Gus's or the hot dog man on Shrewsbury Ave near the tracks! This iconic truck is a time warp of comfort food seemingly lashed to the power pole next to it since we'll... forever! I remember walking from Blaisdells to get hot dogs from Gus and that was 40 years ago plus . Sabrettes hot dogs in the iconic paper boat tray. Ice cold soda and you're set. Or splash out for the sausage sangwich for a real treat. This is as good as a dog gets. Super soft rolls, sauerkraut or cooked spicy onions... fantastic. And when you bite the classic snappy hot dog, well you have to be there.. Even today you walk away with lunch for about $6! Best buy in town. Gus's son in law is keeping up the tradition and doing great. A lot has changed in Red Bank but Gus's hasn't and that's fine. So throw "Gus" some biz and keep him in business for another 40 years. Gus's,....Go!

What can I say about Burger Kraze? Hands down the best addition to the local area in a while…read more Absolutely desimates ShakeShack which has lost its quality/value and has never been run well from a staff/management standpoint. Meanwhile, owner (Isaac) delivers a personal touch and pride of ownership that is unparalleled. Place is spotless and staff offers phenomenal customer service with a smile. Isaac gives his patrons numerous options. There's the classics done well with high quality ingredients and the phenomenal cultural twists to burgers, chicken sandwiches and even corn dogs. I haven't had a corn dog in forever. This was some kind of tempura-ish fried coating (with a little sweetness to the batter) that I've never seen coupled with a hot dog. I can't wait to go back for the Doritos version. Burger Kraze has already done one promotion for my son's elementary that was a huge hit. The change away from using peanut oil helps broaden the options for those that couldn't enjoy before. Just shows that Isaac has a pulse on the community and that's the touch that you can only find from a local small business owner. Cheers to the success as it's well-deserved for the Rutgers alumni!

The Kraze Cheeseburger is an excellent choice, featuring a flavorful burger sauce that makes it especially memorable. The Bulgogi Burger is another standout, with its spicy mayo bulgogi sauce adding a bold and satisfying kick. The mini Korean corn dog was delicious, and the cheese-filled Potato Corn Dog was outstanding: mozzarella wrapped in a flavorful dough, rolled in diced potatoes, and fried to crisp perfection. The side options are also well worth trying, especially the fries, truffle Parmesan fries, and onion rings. Overall, this is a restaurant I would gladly return to, and I am looking forward to trying the chicken sandwiches next time.
