Just a bit of useless trivia for you ;) I don't know why someone would give this mall a bad rating (other than the blah food court). Here's my list of pros: -Never busy -Nice, clean movie theater ($6 Tuesdays!) -HUGE Forever 21 (IMO bigger & better than Roosevelt Fields) -Bright, clean & organized Target -All the mall staples; H&M, Express, NY&CO, Old Navy, etc. -Tons of parking The only con would be the food court but considering all the awesome restaurants right outside the mall (Boulder Creek, On the Border, Boston Market, Johnny Rockets & Panera Bread) who cares about the food court issue. read more

While it's on the small side it has what it needs to provide a one-stop shopping trip if you're looking for the basics or a last minute gift. Food court is not the greatest but it serve its purpose. also you have the movies never congested and service is pretty good. For such a small mall its not the Roosevelt field but it gets the job done and its convenient if your local. sure there is room for improvement but Rome wasn't built in a day. read more

The Broadway Mall! One of my old haunts back in middle/high school. I was dragged into all those lady stores with my mom as a small child, I snuck into my first rated R movie here, had my first date here and my first kiss here (right by the elevators, you know the place). This mall holds some of my dearest memories of my young life and for that it will always have a special place in my heart. Over the years sadly, the mall has greatly depreciated and a lot of the stores are run down and crummy. The addition of Target is a huge help and you still have the good old National Amusements Movie Theater but all in all, the Broadway Mall is not what it used to be. I give it four stars for nostalgia. read more

What happened? I was here maybe 2 months ago and I came here today with family and it looks like crap. They swapped the bathrooms and now you wait to use the men's room because there are 2 "stalls". Nothing like it used to be where your 7 yr olds can just go in and not have to wait. My kids said the bathroom is "disgusting". The play area shrunk. More food places closed. The ceiling tiles are missing. They'll eventually get this all fixed up only to not keep it clean then the stores will raise prices and the options to shop at will lessen. Probably why I prefer Roosevelt Field. Florida's malls are way better then we have. read more

Just a pretty okay mall. Never crowded, good movie theater, has Ikea, has target has a lot of standard mall stores like Journey's, Claire's, H&M, Macy's, American Eagle Outfitters, Hot Topic, Express and it has some little stores that you won't find anywhere but probably aren't looking to go to anyway. I never had a problem here, but it is out of the way and there are better malls out there like Roosevelt Field and Queens Center. I'll come here if I'm going to Ikea, other than that I probably won't make the effort. read more

I love to visit this mall as it has everything i need. From food to clothes and from movies to playing arcade games. I love to visit this mall atleast once in 2 days. Hope this place keeps me amaze for coming years and looking forward for new stores to come. read more

So this mall kind was kind of always below par - in terms of stores, but I have such good memories here! The movie theater is decent and the Ikea + Target MAKE the mall (I know they don't really count, but still). I really like that Panera is attached also. Oh, middle school memories. read more

Pretty decent mall. It's gotten a lot better over the past few years. The main stores are Target, Macys and Ikea. Macys has been renovating for quite sometime. This mall has a movie theater which is good to watch a movie during the week. Come during the weekend and there are way too many kids here. The food court is ok. They have a McDonald's, Arby's, Sbarro and Subway. The other fast food place keep closing and rotating in and out of there. They also have a Panera, Johnny Rockets and a Buffalo Wild Wings on the opposite side of the mall. The Ruby Tuesday's closed a couple of years ago. They have a couple of restaurants outside in the parking lot. I believe there is an On The Border and Boulder Creek. During the holiday season this place gets really busy. A lot of temporary places open up that sells gifts. The parking lot is pretty massive and you can always find a spot. read more

Ehh this mall is ok. They could have better stores, but its got the main staples Bath and Body Works, Victora secret ,Gap, Old Navy. The good thing is it doesn't get crazy busy, so you can shop in peace. Pros Starbucks, good movie cinema, clean, lots of parking huge Target and Ikea. Very friendly and helpful costumer service people! The Cons: The Macy's sucks, its small and they have nothing good. The lack of good places to eat. Rainy day with kids and no plans? Visit the broadway mall for $1 IKEA ice cream and 75cent hot dogs. Open play area for the kids in the food court and down the hall by Macy's. Comfortable reclining seats at the movie theater with a subway right outside if you wanna take a chance and sneak it in. read more

This mall has made so many improvements. They have more lounge areas, better stores, charging stations, and the food court isn't as anemic as it once was. I go here once a week with my daughter cuz she loves the play area. read more

This mall is ok, nothing special about it at all. It has Bath & Body Works which I like & Panera & I can get to both without having to go too deep into the small mall. I stay away on the weekends & holidays because they're never giving anything away, I mean seriously. Chose to go here for some pre-Black Friday shopping and noticed the outside of Macy's being renovated but the inside is exactly the same. Mall wasn't crowded - the main reason to come here. Target had lots of cashiers open so lines moved quick. Think I saw a homeless dude living in here today. If I was homeless I'd live here too. Let's see - nice ikea furniture to sleep on and live off free samples of pretzel bites & bourbon chicken.... read more

If you've lived in LI (Nassau county to be specific), you know this mall is the "secret" one that rarely gets crowded (unlike its close neighbor Roosevelt Field Mall). My usual suspects and I used to go here every now and then after school (we attended a Catholic HS just 15 minutes away) with our blouses untucked, skirts rolled up (God, such juvenile memories), and penny loafers substituted with flipflops. I don't recall it being the best mall in terms of the selection of stores (it's got your usuals... but nothing too special). Now, as an adult, I appreciate this mall b/c it's got IKEA next to it. Also, it's got Ruby Tuesday which is one of the few chain restaurants I do enjoy shamelessly. It's a good old Long Island mall. Nothing hip or extraordinary. Simple and rather accessible. I like this mall and it is significantly small than Roosevelt Field. On the plus side, it is harder to get lost. But, on the negative side, there are less stores. There is wifi that I have found basically works everywhere in the mall. The food court always seems the be changing. In the food court, there is a nice small area for children to play. read more

Broadway mall is like a place for mall rats. I admit, I loved Bway Mall when I was 15 and had nothing better to do than go to the mall and hang out with friends. It is a great mall for Friday night hang outs and meeting random strangers outside the front entrance. You might find the same recurring people outside if you come here enough. The mall is fun, so I gave it 3 stars. HOWEVER.... If you plan on shopping, finding nice deals, or the perfect outfit for your birthday, Broadway mall might not be the spot to hit. I love roosevelt field but this mall is nice once in awhile. it's not crazy busy so it's nice to go to. they need more handicap parking though. I had my grandma with me and there were 2 spots! come on. roosevelt field has 4 and that's just one area. besides that though nice calm mall. plus they have fredericks and old navy. they also have the cheap movies on Tuesdays. read more

Came to this mall on a Saturday night. It was a nice experience. Had all the stores that you would find in every other mall, all the food courts and stands you would find. But this mall was different. There was not that many people there. This made my experience very pleasant. I got to shop not having to push past people. read more

This year I have a teenager and when we've been to Long Island to visit my mom it's a good place to take her to pick up a few things and give her that American Mall fix she so desperately craves. Old Navy, Gap, Body Shop, Macy's, Target... it's got all the names people know and love (well, most people... not this person) along with kiosks in the middle selling everything from jewelry (although I miss the guy that was there during my high school years) to As Seen On TV products to purses to Angry Birds hats with long knitted addenda that have pockets for your hands. In case you have a need to wear a woolen knitted hat but forgot your coat and gloves? I dunno... I love that this mall runs the spectrum from completely trashy (Rainbow, Frederick's) to middle-class mom havens like NY&Co. Personally, for me it's more about the people watching but it does come in handy if I'm home and need something that I either forgot or wasn't anticipating a need for. I still call it Mid-Island and miss the cookie place that was shaped like a boat where you could eat your cookie up top. read more

This mall is "meh" at best. Food court is lacking IMO, and not many stores that I shop at (when I specifically go to a mall rather than shopping online). The only thing good is that Ikea is attached to this mall... that's about it. Can't really say much more... just a mall where lots of mischievous teenagers hang out. read more

This mall, in my opinion, is better than Roosevelt Field. This mall has one of the most fun stores ever, Ikea. They also have Round One, an Otaku's paradise with Japanese arcade games. The crowds are a decent size and the amount of stores in this place is perfect. It also has a decent size. This mall even has a target a great store that has everything. read more

Love this beautiful place I have taken my child to this mall since she was an infinite she just loves visiting the Easter Bunny and Santa my child asked to have her 13th Birthday big girl outing at your mall on January 28 she wanted to take her 11 friends and their moms and one dad to see Hidden Figures have lunch at Blaze Pizza and SHOPPING all the Kids and their parents had a wounderful day we were there from 9:30 until 4pm. I was really STARVING and was in Target. I remembered there was a Taco Bell in the Mall food court. I hate food courts. The workers always behave like the manager went out on a long vacations and they want to have "a little fun" while working. Food courts also add .50 cents to $1.00 to a lot of the foods as well--so you're getting poorer quality for more money. So anyway..I take the escalator UP and UP and UP and when I arrived I got the shock of my life....... TACO BELL NO MORE. Nope! And a sketchy selection of crap...no name rip-off pizza, no name rip-off Chinese food, Subway and Arbys. F this mall. read more

The mall has everything, but on a less grand scale than larger malls on the island. I enjoy going to the movies here as the theaters have been renovated with reclining seats. Other favorites include Macy's, IKEA and Target. Parking is a lot less complicated than at Walt Whitman or Roosevelt Field. The food court could use some improvement and some of the shops could be upgraded, but generally, it is a pleasant place to shop. read more

As a native of the Philippines I was born a natural mall rat. For those not in the know, the favorite past time of the fine residents of Manila is to meander around the air conditioned shopping centers with no real intention of purchasing a product. Our national sport involves grazing through the many food stands, munching on cheap tasty morsels from fine food places, and socializing in the food court. We take pride in housing the world's third largest mall, the 407,000 square-meter SM Mall of Asia. While the Broadway Mall pales in comparison to the size and grandness of the Mall of Asia and it's closer neighbor, Roosevelt Fields, it's an understated nice little shopping center. The ground floor contains all the stores essential for any woman's wardrobe such as H&M, Express, Old Navy, American Eagle's, Charlotte Russe, and a huge Forever 21 that does not have as much traffic as the one in Roosevelt Fields. The Broadway Mall also has a huge bright and clean Target , a huge Macy's, and the best Ikea store on Long Island. There are two soft play areas for your little imps; one located in the modest food court on the 2nd floor and one in the Macy's Wing by Champs and Famous Footwear. There is a movie theatre on the 2nd floor which is apparently pretty decent and offers $7 Tuesdays. Stepping in this mall on the weekend is like stepping into Roosevelt Fields on a Monday morning. There are no huge masses of people blocking your way as you try to move around, making shopping/browsing a more peaceful experience. This is a very welcomed change of pace for someone who hates being in big crowds and who is still healing from the scars from fighting to get the last small blouse on the rack. It's not eye catching or particularly impressive in scale or feature. But it gives you what you need: a fun mall experience without the hassle or the suffocating crowds. read more
