Good bagels here. I normally get two eggs and cheese on mine but I've also tried their scallion cream cheese. Honestly the biggest perk for me is that they open at 5:30am regularly. I work early in the area and I can get breakfast without having to stop at Wawa or 7-11. The food quality is an added bonus! Go here if you're in the area. Consistency is key and they're consistently a good spot for bagels! read more

Good bagels, soft inside and crisper outside- slightly less than I like but still good. Pretty good size for most flavors. Upside- good variety, but no chocolate chip for the kids. They do have blueberry and cinnamon. Downside- Cream cheese is not homemade, it's a container of whipped Philly and no chives flavor, which seems odd. I tried to get bagels, but the employees ignored me as if I was not even standing there. Will not return.

This used to be my favorite bagel place to go to as a kid. I would always go for an egg bagel with pork roll egg and cheese and it tasted like a total dream. I'm not sure if they've switched owners since then or what but today I found that the quality has really gone downhill. I tried to order my usual but they were out of egg bagels -- no worries, I went for their onion bagel. Pork roll egg cheese salt and pepper, no ketchup. When I received it, it looked like the bagel had either entirely combusted in their oven or had been manually hollowed out. I saw red stains all over the inside of the bagel, which I've never seen from pork roll before, so I actually think they mistakenly put ketchup on my bagel and then dug out the insides of the bagel instead of just remaking the sandwich. I did taste hints of ketchup too while I was eating it. If that was the case, it's wildly unprofessional (and just plain old gross). The bagel in general also tasted weirdly stale around the edges but was mushy and not crisp in the center. I will say the pork roll inside was at least a good quality. I don't think I'll be returning again. Bummer. Used to be a great place. read more

Always fresh! Love it here.. the only negative thing I do have to say is that the last year or so the size of the bagels have been tremendously smaller.. some of them. Sometimes they will offer 2 bagels for the price of one because of its size but if you're getting a breakfast sandwich and they put it on a small bagel, they won't accommodate which is fine, but all staff should be recognizing it and looking for a larger size bagel rather than just sticking their hand in the bucket and pulling out whatever they grab. To pay the same price for a breakfast sandwich and one person gets a bagel half the size as the next person isn't right. Other than that, I love this place and go twice a week, sometimes more. Pretty run of the mill bagel shop with a nice selection of breakfast and lunch sandwiches to go along with the bagels. The two bagels and the bacon, egg, cheese, & potato on a kaiser roll we ordered were all good, but not outstanding. Bagels had crunchy exterior and a soft interior, they were neither too dense nor too airy. The sandwich could've used a bit more potato to maintain a nice ratio, but honestly it's ingredient I want them to skimp on if I'm going to be short on something on my B-E-C. What is NOT run of the mill here are the owners, who are extremely engaging, friendly and outgoing. Customer service is a definite plus here. Despite an obviously high percentage of regulars here, my sons and I were made to feel very welcome and at home as we ate lunch after a visit to Insectropolis just down the road. My youngest was even provided with some uncooked bagel dough to play with while we waited for our order to be completed, a very nice touch. So while the product isn't anything spectacular, it is solid and tasty, and the owners are running the kind of place customers should support. The shop has several tables and a regular crowd that occupies some of them while they chat or read the newspaper. All ordering is done at the counter, and your food is either brought to your table, or you are alerted when it is ready for pick up back at the counter. Lively takeout traffic. The kaiser rolls were a little softer than i would have liked, it could do with some toasting but maybe their bagels are better. Came in a looked and the case and didn't see any everting bagels so I asked if they had any. They were in the wrong bin and the clerk acted like I was an idiot for not seeing them.
