They leave stuff off that you order, and they give little care to their ingredients. They literally cut their onions like an inch thick. I would give this place zero stars if I could. This used to be my favorite goto bagel place any time I'm in town visiting family. Today, not so much. Went for a couple of bagels and cream cheese this morning. The guy at the counter was wearing a bandana on his face, leaving the bottom of the face covering open so he was breathing on the food. After putting on the cream cheese, he then turns around and the bandana is now around his neck!!! Sadly I paid for the bagels and immediately threw them out. This place used to be my favorite bagel store but lately the service has been off. Ordered a pork roll and egg sandwich. No cheese. They gave me the sandwich with cheese. When I told them I didn't ask for cheese they got annoyed and threw the sandwich on the counter because they had to redo the order. Went back this week and ordered the same. No cheese. I swear the girl can cut a bagel spread the cream cheese and package it before you can get your money out... it's actually kinda crazy! Bagels are WARM.... which many places (brielle, squan, international in Bradley) seem to have a huge issue with.... WHO WANTS TO EAT A COLD BAGEL? Not me! This place is older... it's seen it's days... but it's clean and homey. I never feel uncomfortable showing up with my hair a mess in the morning, and they take any kind of money i want to give them.... if you want massive bagels like at brielle bagel or international and don't mind Nazi like rules (kinda funny)... go to Round dough with a hole. I went in today and ordered a pumpernickel with cream cheese and a cinnamon raisin with muenster and cream cheese. They had no pumpernickel, I opted for a plain and grabbed a 1/4 gallon of milk.
