As a teacher, I bring in pink bagels on Valentine's Day and green bagels on St Patty's Day for my class(I call a day ahead and they are pre-cut, bagged and ready to go. Nice place to get a bagel and coffee. They closed around noon today and I got there around 11:30. They still had plenty of bagel options. The woman taking my order was very nice and fast getting everything ready. There's tables and chairs inside to eat. We took our food to a nearby park to eat by the water. I got a Garlic bagel with lox, tomato and cream cheese. The amount of smoked salmon I had on this sandwich was unreal. Stacked high and delicious. Holy moley. More like "Oh What a SALTY Bagel". We ordered some loose egg bagels that ended up being so salty that they were borderline inedible. My wife ordered a bagel with cream cheese a few weeks ago and remarked the same about it being unpleasant to eat but thought the saltiness was coming from the cream cheese that they use. This confirms that it's the bagels themselves. There is potential here with what would otherwise be big chewy bagels, but my mouth is still burning a half hour later from all the salt. read more

Always heard good things about this place confused. Went in there for the first time today could hardly get through the Bagel so overly chewy had cream cheese with it literally couldn't even see the cream cheese. My wife and I make it a habit to get our bagels here. We are snowbirds from Maine who now winter in the area, but we both grew up in Morris County and enjoyed good bagels in our youth. In our experience, the staff has always been friendly, the bagels ate always huge and tasty and the cream cheese varieties are outstanding. We have never ordered sandwiches there, but often see a line of people waiting for their meals. We have nothing but good to say about this place. read more

Not a bad bagel place. The bagels were softer than I prefer, but most Jersey bagels are. I like the crisp kettle cooked ones. The place itself is not bad. Counter when you walk in, drinks to the left, seating to the right. I got my standard pork roll, egg & cheese, on an everything bagel. It was good. They use the thick cut pork roll. "NO BAGEL FOR YOU! NEXXXT!" Bad service but decent bagels. On my first trip, the lady at the counter was obnoxiously shouting, "NEXT!" every time she completed an order. No smiles were seen anywhere in the building. The second time, at the counter, I was asked if I wanted a copy of my receipt. I said "sure" as I was signing their copy and crossed out the tip line (leaving tips for counter service is not expected AFAIK). The cashier was staring right at my receipt as I did so, and he immediately threw out my copy. As I leave I say thank you with no response back. They also have Fox News playing 24/7, which I can respect on its own, though it can be perceived as an imposing political statement. One of the tables I sat at while waiting for my order felt greasy and was either not wiped down or properly dried. The bagels are definitely good, but they are also oversized and impossible reheat in a toaster. If you don't get there in the crack of dawn, don't expect to get any of their speciality bagels as they run out very early. read more

The bagels are very, very good. That's why I keep coming back. The staff has always been very welcoming in my years of coming here. Really happy they have more seating now that they expanded next door. Just wish they wouldn't be out of pretty much every kind of bagel except for plain and salt if you don't come before 9AM. Very frustrating. Bagel sandwiches (what I always get) are good, but very sloppy. Sometimes cut into 2/3 & 1/3 instead of 1/2 & 1/2. Frequently the knife is not wiped between cutting different sandwiches, leading to bits of stuff from other sandwiches in your sandwich. Doesn't sound like a big deal but, I have a dairy allergy. When will Yelp allow no stars? I've lived in the area for over 15 years. Given this place numerous chances. Every time I receive terrible service. People behind the counter are always rude. They really seem to hate their job, and customers. They have two TVs that play Fox News very loud. To each their own, I personally don't watch the garbage. One reason why I won't come here again. There's plenty of local news channels or at least neutral news stations that don't spew lies. I know most won't agree with me on that and that's okay. I overheard the woman behind the counter say "who the fuck eats a pork roll egg and cheese at 12 in the afternoon?" Excuse me? I do. It's delicious at any time of the day. Why do you care? Their bagels are way better than Jt's bagel hut. Oh what a bagel makes nice sized bagels and are easy to bite into, like fluffy. Jt's was spongy. My only disappointment towards Oh what a bagel is half the time they get the order wrong and I only get two bagels one for me and one for my hubby. I always ask for it toasted with cream cheese and half the time they don't toast it or its butter. Or they will say it just came out of the oven do I still want it toasted, I say yes because toasted is crunchy just baked is not. Still my only favorite bagel place, I can withstand a non toasted bagel here and there just because the bagels are so good. Beggers can't be choosy. read more
