To be honest, I was scared of writing a review because it would probably affect my treatment/service here as this is/was the doctor I go to. The first thing that I would say is that there is no reason to book more than 4 patients in one time block. I understand you want to group double book to provide extra care to patients but the fact that there is four of us within the hour waiting is absurd. Doctor offices usually have a long wait time but an hour plus is too wild. Another reason I feel really scared going here is the front guy made me feel ashamed when he asked "what is the reason for your visit"? And I said general checkup, and he asked; what else? And I had to whisper it and he made me repeat it and he repeated it louder for the whole room to hear. HIPAA doesn't exist here. I'm in absolute anger and waiting 5:30pm til 8:30pm with appointment is wild to me. On the brighter side, the medical assistant that checked my vitals was very sweet and patient. Please change how you do things around here as you aren't really respecting people's time. I feel so sorry for the elders having to wait 2+ hours to get checked. Don't over book, please be considerate of people's times!! And please don't screw me over as your patient just because I spoke my mind. read more

I found Dr. Ares through the free magazine El Especialito, through her weekly column which I love. I have been coming here for over 23 years and I love it, consistent professionalism and care. On top of that I feel with my doctor that she listens. I am not rushed out of the room like other doctors I have visited. The service is so great that I brought my daughter who is now of age to have my doctor as her primary doctor too. I really recommend this doctor she adds that human touch some lack. read more

If I could give 0 stars I would, the front desk is always busy can't pick up calls and when they do they put on hold till they hang up that's besides the point. The reason for this 1 Star is the fact of the paperwork that needed to be filled out for Medicare. My father needs to check his glucose levels however Medicare requieres Doctor to fill out a certain form to get it covered it's been months since he was prescribed the machine and assets to it. We are in end of June and still no paperwork filled out. Front desk told me it was 4-5 business days.. the day he was waiting for the form is March.. how many days from March till June? I had been seeing Dr. Luz Ares since 2012; after wanting to try a female doctor. I`m glad i did! Dr. Ares spends a good amount of time to discussing my family history, tests and preventative health issues. She is a great caring doctor and compassionate. At first this place felt convenient to go too (close to home and open till late). Dr. Ares was attentive and open, however, when I began to present with symptoms that I wanted to have addressed she dismissed them. Began to say I was neurotic and "it was all in my head." The way she presented it was totally inappropriate and unprofessional. I had been going to her for years and never felt the way I did that day. Maybe because I never used to present with any issues? All I ever went for was the basic routine check-up and blood work. I then moved on to a new doctor and asked for my medical records that took 2 months to get. Hence I had to personally walk in and ask for them. This location needs better management. And Dr. Ares should be more considerate as to what and how she says something because that individual may be going through something in their life. Let me not even mention the waiting time. WARNING PLEASE BE AWARE OF THIS PLACE ! If you are thinking about applying here for a job PLEASE DO NOT ! Dr ares is rude, disrespectful and attempts to degrade her employees. She is constantly yelling at them, attempts to mentally abuse them and nothing is ever enough for her no matter how well you do your job. You are asked to do so many tasks at once that it is unrealistic. There is no office manager, no HR, no billing, no medical records person, no direct deposit, no organization this place is a disaster because of DR ARES. You have to keep track of your hours down to every single second because if not you will be robbed for your time, and if you attempt to claim your missing hours you will be attacked, questioned and disrespected as if you are an unloyal person. This lady is a complete nut job, this lady yells so loud at her employees that patients can hear it in the waiting room. Her wait time for each patient is over 3 hours, she never arrives to to office on time and blames her employees for this, when this is something that they have no control over. She talks to her employees with a sarcastic little attitude as if you are an idiot she will make comments such as "if I had a good staff", "if I had a people who cared", "if you did your job" everything is about her self she's a narcissist person. If she is unsatisfied or unhappy she will make statements such as "it seems like you didn't earn your check from last week I should take it away" . Dr Gonzalez isn't realistic either he is rude, yells at his employees as well and speaks in an unacceptable tone he wants you to just drop everything and complete the task that he asked you to do at the precise moment. They will call you on the phone yell at you and then boom hang up on you in a disrespectful and rude way. With in a year they have gone though over 30 staff members and interns which none stayed, it can't be possible that it is just the employees and not them which is something they have yet come to realize, they currently have gone from a full staff down to only 2 staff members due to their actions of degrading employees and their constant mood swings. I had an appointment on friday with doctor Carlos m González and my experience was the worst I ever had. When I went into his office I went to get my xrays result for what could possibly a fractured elbow. I told him I had a pain on my elbow for more than 3 months. He told me that the xrays found nothing so then I told him that I can't lean on my elbow cuz it hurts bad his response was a shrub of the shoulders basically telling me he don't know and he don't care I asked him what's the next step he shrubed his shoulders this whole time he never made eye contact with me not even when I walked into his office. At that moment I walked away from him to make another appointment with doctor Luz Ares shes great. So then I walked back to his office and asked him what kind of doctor shrubs their shoulders to a patient when they ask them questions that is their job to know he got angry and literally pushed me of his office I told him to never put his hands on me again apparently he took it as a threat and got inches from my face and started to scream at me. He said "who the he'll you think you are"? His fist were closed like he wanted to hit me. Worst experience ever. read more
