We got so lucky with this vet! We live right around the corner, but I didn't expect to find such a great vet in my backyard. The first time I called to set up the appointment, the tech had such a warmth and care for a pet they'd never seen or met. Such a green flag. The vet visit was timely, efficient, and you can tell the doctor loves what he does and loves these animals. My kitty needed dental work and they were super upfront about the costs and very clear about what did and didn't need to be done. I think less honorable vets would have tried to push me to do more for their financial gain. They also have such an adorable clinic cat, Gatsby, that gives great vibes. read more

I've been going to Dr. Sam for over 6 years and highly recommend him and his team for any pet care needs. My dog, Rambo, comes here for his yearly check-ups and also had a biopsy done here. The team always goes above and beyond to make sure he's comfortable. For example, they know he doesn't like being in a kennel, so they keep him in the x-ray room instead. That level of thoughtfulness really means a lot. Dr. Sam is thorough and takes the time to explain all options, including the "what ifs" and risk factors, especially important for my senior dog. I started taking my dog here when we moved to Belmont Shore last August. After a year, I can confidently say that Broadway Pet Clinic is a professional and pleasing establishment. My Shih-tzu is going to be 8 years old this year and he's developed allergies at the age of 4. Since they are moderate and cause him to itch excessively, he has to use prescription medication to help him. Broadway animal clinic has great prices, a yearly exam is quite affordable, and the medicine for his allergies is also priced well. The staff are very thorough and caring with my pup and I appreciate it. My Shih-tzu goes every 3-4 months. I would recommend taking your animal here. read more

Great experience! Took my fur baby to Broadway Pet Hospital and had a great experience. Unfortunately she injured a nail on her nub, so I called in during the morning and they were able to squeeze her in within a few hours after our call. The staff were so helpful and welcoming, she hates the vet and she looked so happy even while dealing with her injury. Vet also called the next morning to ensure she was recovering well. 10/10 experience highly recommend. She was showered with love and pets. Absolutely unacceptable experience at Broadway Pet Clinic in Long Beach. My cat was scheduled to be spayed on December 18, 2025, but the surgery was canceled because the receptionist failed to tell me my cat needed to be fasting. No pre-op instructions were given at all. Because of their incompetence, my time was wasted and my cat did not receive the care she was scheduled for. The staff was rude, dismissive, and completely unprofessional when I addressed the issue. I do not recommend this clinic to anyone. This is not a place you should trust with your pet. read more

They are super transparent with pricing, and their prices are usually reasonable compared to other clinics. While they're not an emergency clinic, and it isn't always doable, I've frequently been able to schedule visits for the day of or next day when it's something I want to get looked at quickly. After being quoted an insane price at an Irvine clinic I decided to take her to Broadway Pet Hospital because that's where we went when I still lived in Long Beach. Dr. Sam was gentle with Olive and very kind. You can tell he seriously cares about animals. I moved him in with me again recently, he's been living in San Jose. Since coming here, it's the first time in a few years that his skin has looked this healed. He might actually be back to normal in a month or two! Beyond happy about that. Great direction from the vet here. Had only one time where I waited a long while that I got frustrated. If your biggest concern when Vet shopping is finding someone who will love your dog as much as you do, this is the place. I was hopelessly looking for somewhere to take my girl to find out if she was pregnant. This clinic is within walking distance from my home so I decided to try it out. I called and made an appointment, we went in and it's a cute little shop, nothing glamorous but I thought it was cozy. The receptionist/assistant? Named Chelsea was awesome. The doctor himself was a surprise. He walked up at started petting my baby and telling her how cute she was and that he loved her. Right away I'm liking this guys vibe, clearly he loves animals. There were some younger girls there as well, possibly family members that were helping him. They handled my baby very carefully as she was very nervous and shaking. 100/100 love the care and attention they all gave her. Previous all of her services were at Banfield and I'm positive all of those people are miserable. Only feedback I have, the "Fast Scan" was $150, but I was also charged an exam fee, which was mostly just doctor looking in her ears and listening to her heart..$62 for that which I wanted to mention but they were so nice I let it go.
