I didn't find a large display or selection of gear, but they do have a great selection of more top-end bikes. The employee greeted me and offered his help, but I just looked around. A pretty upsetting first visit. I just got my husband a Ducati Panigale for his birthday (didn't purchase that from here), we dropped by at around 4:30pm on 9.21.24 to see if they had a specific helmet he was looking for. Upon entering there were 3 employees sitting in the office, no one greeted and no one came out to help. We thought well maybe they were doing paperwork with a customer... We saw some helmets in the back so we walked towards there, saw two more employees sitting at their desk, no one greeted us or came to help. As we were walking out, 3 young adults came in and everyone in the office greeted them. A man coming in from outside saw that we were leaving and asked if we needed help... we said it's okay we're leaving. He then asked what we were looking for and pointed us to the helmets by the office. We walked over to that helmet wall, again those 3 guys didn't even come to help, they looked at us like we were an inconvenience to them. As we were walking out, not one word from any of them. I've never been ignored like this before, felt like they were heavily judging us. We're business owners ourselves so we understand that representation of your brand matters, those people really don't give a rats ass about where they work. read more

I'm really struggling with not being one of those people who throws a huge fit about being discriminated against. Had a test ride for a Rebel 1100DCT scheduled by the sales manager at Broadway powersports. I was originally told that "the bike on the show room was not serviced yet, that they do this to keep people from turning them on while in the store and that he would need to get he bike ready for a test ride and it should be ready by the following weekend." Now as I talk to other people that ride and are more active in the bike scene of what I was told and I was looking forward to the test ride they all responded with perplexed looks some even saying that is weird practice that they never heard a place doing that. I've been calling all week to confirm the time of the ride, and being told the salesperson I delt with will call me back, it never happened. Then other day, I called doing errands to confirm the ride. I was given the same script, the person you were working with will call you back until I asked the person currently on the phone to just to see if they got a bike ready for the ride, it should not be that hard. He came back with what sounded like a hesitant tone stating the manager over the sales manager said that they don't feel comfortable letting me test ride the bike because of my limited experience. I was aggravated already as I never received a follow up call from the person that was helping me (the sales manager). The person who had nothing to do with the situation was being sent to give the message because the other people were too busy doing whatever and could not o tell me the main reason that I was being denied the ability to test ride the bike. I have been in that business a lot over the past few months getting information and trying to figure out things. Since the person that got stuck to relay the message seemed to be struggling with telling me the reason why I could not do a test ride, I assumed the real reason is that I have one arm. I tried hard to keep cool and brush it off, you know suck it up stuff happens its life, but this incident every time I think about it, I really get emotional. To keep from flying off the handle and assuming something that was not true I went to the store to ask someone in person and to shop for some accessories. I was greeted by a couple of the salespeople that I have had interactions with while coming in the dealership. Could not get anyone to acknowledge me other than the initial greeting from the two salespeople already with customers and the employees in the parts department. The sales manager who was at his desk and on his phone, could be work related he is a busy person, until I walked in front of his desk acting like I was looking at gear. Then when I turned around to ask him the question I wanted to, he was gone, and I never saw the guy again until I left. Now again this could be me just trying to feel some kind of way. So, I called the dealership talk to the head store manager (the person over the sales manager) that person took full ownership and stated that yes, he denied my test ride due to me having one arm as that would be too much of a risk for him to allow that to happen. He asked I see it from his point of view. As a person I can, but damn it I do not ask for anything special to get by since I lost my arm 26 years ago, nor do I want to be treated special now, but what about me and my point of view as a person. When I came in originally to schedule the test ride of the Rebel 1100dct (which is automatic) the person helping me that day (your sales manager) knew that I could ride. I know this as I was wearing my helmet still and my motorcycle I rode up there was outside and that the person helping me took pictures of as he never saw that bike before which is why I guess he at least appeared to try to schedule the test ride. The head manager offered a solution of purchasing the bike and then I could ride it and return it after few miles (I think it was 5 miles but cannot remember) if I did not like it. I could only get a test ride if I bought the vehicle and then returned it. I know that there are other people that to test ride purchasing the vehicle was not necessary. I was urged to post this to where others will see it besides my close friends to hopefully help the next person who might receive the same treatment. I can overlook people pushing me to trikes, can-am spiders and other similar options due to their fear/ concern for me, but I took and passed the MSF course, got my motorcycle endorsement, and have my own gear rode a two wheeled vehicle up there. What else do I have to do to show I can ride. So long story to say Broadway Motorsports in Tyler that was very messed up! Sorry for the long post and doubt it will go far but just wanted to post this to anyone that rides, to maybe add this to the reason why Broadway Motorsports has a reputation for sucking. read more

This is the worst business I have ever dealt with. I paid 45K for my side car. Returned it for warranty it took them 3 months to repair it. They didn't do all the repairs. Beware they buy good reviews with shirts and hats. Update 5/27/22: Found pre-delivery damage to the bike and brought it to my sales guy's attention for resolution. The passenger side lower metal body panel is dented and scratched up from obviously uncrating as well as a scratched/gouged rear rim. The solution for the rim was touch up paint, which I'm ok with. The panel I wanted a replacement, which thr dealer told me to send mine and they will go from there for further action and hopefully order a replacement. I then get a call a few hours away tell me I have to now bring the bike in.... wtf. I am not driving all the way back and leaving a bike I have paid for; for a part that takes 10 minutes to replace blindfolded. I would not recommend this dealership at all after this.... I received a phone call from them this morning letting me know that Polaris isn't making 21's anymore and that I would be getting a 22 when it came in and would now have to pay the new MSRP and possibly even another increase by the time it got here! I did get a good in-person service when I got there to pick up my new unit (I put down payment over the phone). But on the phone the internet sales guy takes forever to answer and check his emails. The title transfer lady I would give her a 6+ star. She rushed my paperwork same day in order for me to be able to registered it in my county asap. (I wanted to get the OHV license plate for a coming trip) What I didn't like (and it seems everyone is doing now) is that I was charged a % for paying with my amex when pucked it up, would be nice to know in advance so one can bring a check better. Overall my experience was good, the internet salesman gave me 2 free shirts (promotion for dealer) after I asked him, and a free set of side rear view mirrors for my new side by side. I drove 2-1/2 hours from Azle because they where the only dealer that had the 2020 yamaha viking ranch edition on stock and answered my messages. 2 other dealers took too long to answered (days). So as for warranty service (Idid buy extended warranty) I'll just go to my closest local dealer. read more

Customer service is the worst! Wanted to trade a slingshot in the first time , weeks went by no return call, email, etc so I decided to keep it. A few weeks later I decided I'll give another chance and have them service my slingshot and add some upgrades , I sent messages and texts through the website and no response again..... oh wait , I did have a salesperson respond and ask what vehicle I was interested in....wow... I asked are you referring to a few weeks ago or now? I let him know I just wanted to service and upgrades at this time and again no further communication. I decided to take my service to Dallas. I don't know how these people will stay in business with all the bad reviews I see. Maybe people should complain directly to Polaris, Can Am, etc. and see if that works. read more

Just bought a bike and stopped in looking for riding boots and other gear. First thing I noticed is that zero employees are masked (at least 7-8 there at the time). There looked to be 4-5 other customers at the time; it was not busy. There was a woman at a desk as I walked in, and she at least pointed me towards the boots; this was the last interaction I had with anyone there. I walked in and looked at boots for at least 10 minutes, trying a couple pair on. Very small selection, but they had one I'd have considered if I found it elsewhere. I spent another 10 minutes or so checking out throttle locks and a couple other accessories I'm considering. I made eye contact with a couple employees I hoped to ask questions, and each of them broke that quickly and found something else to be engrossed in. The entire 20 minutes in the store, no one approached me to ask if they could help with anything. I could have gone and gotten someone to come back to the section I was in, but it honestly felt like they were annoyed for me to be there, and I was truly annoyed at the shitty customer service. I've had a couple similar experiences in my life, and just figure they've got enough business and don't want mine, so I never went back. That's what I'll do in this case, too. To sum up - non-existent customer service from non-mask-wearing employees. I'll take my motorcycle gear and repair business elsewhere. read more

After having issues getting service for a recall, i gave them a second go. Nothing has changed, even at their new location. I took my new ski in for first service. Without approval they ordered a new ECU because my ski had a recall. Problem is, its ride season right now. I dont want my 2 skis sitting in the back lot waiting for a part that might not even be available. So i called after 10 days to check on the ski, they told me about the recall, and i said i want to pick up the ski. I pick it up the next day and upon inspecting when i hook up i find that my trailer has been damaged. They move trailers around with a forklift. At some point i think the forks rubbed against the trailer and pushed one of the running lights inside the trailer frame. I pointed the damage out, they said they would take care of it, when i brought it back in for the recall. Well, i don't feel confident in broadway power sports touching my machine again. Ill eat the cost of a new running light and spend my time running the wire. Not going back to broadway power sports again...and neither should you! read more

HORRIBLE IS THE ONLY WORD I CAN SAY ABOUT THIS PLACE, and a few other choose words I cannot put online. I brought two Sea Doo jet skis in June of 2019, one needing a service, and the other one had sank tide up to our boat dock and needing to have the motor cleaned out and some other issues fixed, I was well aware this was a major repair job. When speaking with the service department before bringing them in I asked how far they were out on getting them in the shop because I didn't want them to just sit outside waiting until they could get to them. The never nice man on the phone stated it would be 1 week to get them in, and to bring them over. FAST FORWARD to August..... after calling about once a month to check the status, I finally got answer.. the parts were "delayed" and they would get the ski back in the shop and put back together. Well.... it is now October, and after a few words with the ARROGANT manager, which has now been fired, and threatening of getting an attorney, they assured me it would be ready in 2 weeks.... as now it is January 2020... I have called about twice a month, asking the updates, many different story, and a HUGE bill.... this is a $8,000 jet ski I have now spent $4,800 on.... I was told multiple lies, parts that never came in, never got ordered, parts that did come in but were not tagged to my service order, and were placed on shelf and labeled as inventory.... after calling and speaking to someone with common sense they found the MAIN part they had been waiting on since AUGUST, that was "supposedly" never came in, but had and put in the wrong place.... WE now have a new service manager... which has been decent... I have FINALLY picked up the skis in March 2020.... Both with dead batteries, and filthy from sitting outside.. they wouldn't even start. You would think that after spending over $5,000 on 2 jet skis, they would at least have them cleaned, or start... Fast forward to lake season...MAY 2020 finally get to put them in the water and take them out on the lake... well guess what?? The Ski doesn't run correctly. Over heats, and can't go over 30mph without the check engine light coming on, and then dies... had to wait 30 minutes in the middle of the lake before it would start. It could be a sensor, which stated they replaced when in the shop. After calling the manager, I still haven't heard back about having the issues resolved, or what we will do.. I'm hesitate to bring it back to the shop, and let it sit for months. We will see how this turns out.... read more

It is no surprise that Broadway Yamaha Suzuki has been named Tyler's best place to buy a bike, for as long as that has been a category. They get why people are drawn to bike/scooters as a great mode of transportation, and are able to accommodate riders new and old with finding a bike/scooter that will suite their needs. I have a 07 Suzuki M-50 for service and scene I have had it here it has performed like a champ, and I've had nary a problem with it in all that time. Most days of the week you will find other riders there hanging out and talking shop, frankly the only thing that could make power sports better would be an espresso machine or a beer cooler LOL!!!! The worst service of any business I have ever had. You can wait on the phone for an hour or drive up there and wait in line for 20-30 mins. The service department has tried to rip me off more than once. You can't get a hold of the parts Dept. They blame everything on COVID-19 the only problem with that excuse is, that is how the service from them has always been. Now the have all the bike manufacturers so you have no choices unless you drive to another town. Best thing I can tell you is SHOP SOMEWHERE ELSE! read more

It's often difficult to truly buy into ratings because we all have different expectations but the 2 star overall rating here seems substantiated by my recent experience. Recently moved to area and had a wear ring problem on my sea doo. The place gets 1 star because the service staff is polite and they were able to accommodate my need for an urgent repair. But otherwise please be cautious. They told me my 2 month old sea doo needed an initial oil change ($200) because it had more than 10 hours. Read manual after the fact - recommendation is 50 hours or 6 months. Was initially told it was a $120 (bait and switch anyone). They charged almost $500 for wear ring (3 hours labor) repair and quoted me just over $300 for Spyder rear tire and install. After speaking with my prior dealer (from whom I've bought 7 units) that they charge $180 for a Spyder tire - installed and a wear ring should be an hour labor which with them is $35 more an hour but would have cost me $240 total (not $500). I don't get it. I understand variations in regional pricing but these guys look like rip off artists. I've seen a comment they have been voted best cycle dealership in town a number of years in a row. Not difficult when you are the only one ( save a Harley dealer which is a different animal). I will drive my bikes and watercraft 3 hours to my old dealer for service from now on. Even with the travel it's cheaper. read more

Our first foray into the powersports world was eight years ago when a friend gave us an old Kawasaki 125. We knew it needed some work so took it to two shops, who did not fix the main problems it was having. I finally took it into BP and they diagnosed the problems in short order and had the quad fixed up and ready to go shortly afterward. It ran great and we got a lot of mileage out of that little machine. We bought a 1991 Honda CBR1000 a few years ago, low miles, good condition, etc. I had some routine maintenance done at other shops but was still uncomfortable with a vibration in the rear brake they were not able to fix. I eventually got a flat, took the bike into BP and not only did they change the flat while I waited but they made the adjustments needed to the rear brake, and advised me on how to keep an eye on it so I could safely drive it and avoid replacing the caliper. I was impressed they had easily fixed this rear brake adjustment so quickly when the other shop did not give it notice. Last year the Honda was running rough so we took it back to BP for an assessment (plus oil change and another review of the rear brake). T-connections for fuel between the carbs were found to be the problem, as they had aged and cracked. Unfortunately the part was obsolete, so I picked up the job for a time and hunted on Ebay and other sources until we found the part. The obsolete O-rings then became the problem and I appreciate the persistence with which the tech crew pursued solutions. The bike is my daily driver, so it was a great moment to ride it again today when we picked it up. Bike is running great and I'm ready for, and looking forward to, the spring riding season. read more

I was looking forward to being able to service my Indian in Tyler, but will now return to Garland because "service" at Broadway Powersports is TERRIBLE! I had emailed this complaint to management and did not intend to post it, but months later, (now 11/1/20) I've discovered ANOTHER totally loose locknut that could cause a dangerous situation...a muffler to header clamp was never tightened after muffler removal for a tire change. Back in mid-June, I booked a service appointment for the earliest possible date (July 24) and was disappointed with the six week delay, but business must be brisk. Good for them. I requested new tires, replacement Indian handlebar, fix rear seat "captured" nut that I cross-threaded, and an oil change. I was referred to a parts guy and he was confused by tire choices and couldn't figure out the handlebar replacement so I asked that he call me back with details, which he never did. I called service about three weeks later and asked if I was scheduled for the 7/24 service and they said yes. I asked that they cancel the handlebar replacement from the list because I was not confident that they knew what they were doing. (I do understand that there's a learning curve for a new product line. I'm just not willing for my bike to be a test rig. However, not getting called back was a poor business practice.) When the bike was finished, I was informed that they'd have to order the part for the seat bolt so that wasn't repaired. This really bothered me because this simple, one-bolt problem must be fixed with the back wheel off, so I've been waiting to have it repaired until I needed new tires installed. Now I have to wait for the NEXT new rear tire, remembering to remind whatever shop I choose to be sure they have these small and simple parts. Since, in mid-June, I requested that the rear seat bolt be fixed, I incorrectly assumed that a quality service organization would ascertain that they had those minor parts in stock. As I stood at the service desk looking through the window at my finished bike, I was surprised to see how dirty it was after bringing it in spotless. I told the service writer that I've never picked up a bike from service dirtier than when I brought it in...and it was filthy! The tech grabbed a rag and spray polish and wiped it down a little, but it was still a mess, which turned out to be a good thing because one can discover things when you clean a vehicle. I asked the tech if he had reset the oil change reminder and he had not. I got home and wet-washed the bike and discovered several things. Because the tour pack had to be removed to replace the rear tire, the large, tour pack electrical connector had to be unplugged. I discovered that it was not reconnected after service and was laying on the rear fender near the taillight. It's a good thing that I only had a 35 mile ride home or I'd be asking for rear fender paint repair. In addition, the saddlebags had to be removed for tire replacement and the right one was not correctly reinstalled. The bottom of the bag must rest on an exhaust bracket to stabilize the bag. This was not done, so the bag was loose. Lastly, the old stick-on wheel-balancing weights look like they were pried off with a knife or screwdriver, scratching the wheels. Plus the old, double-face 3M tape residue was left on the wheel after the new weights were installed in a different position. It would've been SO much easier for the tech to clean up that tape residue while the wheel was off rather than me doing it on hands and knees. Since so many tasks were accomplished in a shoddy manner, I thought I better check the oil level since the shop changed my oil and I found that THE OIL LEVEL WAS 28 OUNCES LOW!!! Worst experience I've ever had! Don't know how they stay in business. On July 19, 2017 I took my Yamaha golf cart in to have the braking mechanism serviced due to excessive noise. Didn't hear from them for 3 weeks--Finally on August 8, (3 weeks later) I called to inquire about the status of my golf cart. They hadn't even looked at it. I was told to give them until tomorrow. So on August 9th at 4:30 p.m. I got a call. They finally looked at it but couldn't tell me what needed servicing without entering the transaxle. August 10th I picked up my golf cart. I was charged $150.00 for what I already knew! (noisy brakes) I will never ever bring or have anything serviced at Broadway Powersports. Will never ever recommend them to any of my friends! Judge D. Was called on Wednesday morning and told they couldn't find it the 2015 so was told they would sweeten the deal and get me a 2016 the beginning of August I had already put a down payment on the 2015 but I was fine waiting couple weeks for a 2016! It's now September have not been called or anything by the dealer! So called them put on hold 3 times was told he was with a customer finally asked to speak to a manager when he got on the phone said he can't find the bike and I could come pick up my down payment or keep waiting! I am suppose to be in Arizona to start mmi next week so I can't wait but now I have don't have the motorcycle because I waiting on this dealership! I received a call the next day saying that my bill was now exceeding $250 and it appears to need a carburetor cleaning. I called Broadway power sports in Tyler, Tx. I spoke with a salesman named Johnathon about an olive green 2020 Honda Fourtrax foreman advertised at $7099.00. I asked him if it was still available, and at that price to which he assured me it was at that same price + tax. I told him this would be a farm use vehicle, and he told me I would need my Texas Agricultural card for there to be no tax. No problem, I have that. Told him we were about 125 miles away, and that we were on our way. We get there, meet Jonathan. He immediately sends us into finance, and we weren't financing any part of this. He was aware of that. They added right at $800 in fees! None of it was "taxes" just fees that he failed to mention before I drove 250 miles round trip. Freight charge, title fee, assembly fee, and document fee. I asked him "what happened to the $7,099.00?" Then told him "remember I'm not financing any part of this." He told me I should've known better than to think it would've only been $7,099.00 plus the title fee. Said "you've bought a new car before haven't you? There's a whole list of extras." Purchased a 2018 G4 1000. Less than 6 hours on the buggie, the front drive snapped in half and the turf mode went out and caused the transmission case to crack open. Took it back to Broadway and they comeback and said it was all damage to an overload, but will supply parts only as a goodwill gesture. Broadway wants $1300 in labor to put back together. Told them that was ridiculous and then they come down to $866 for labor. The turf mode has been an ongoing issue and Polaris deleted it in the 2019 models. Will never use them again. read more

My fiancé and I bought a 2017 Kawasaki Ninja and we called around to quite a few places in Dallas to find the best price, and Broadway Powersports beat every dealership in Dallas by over $1,000! The walk out price on the bike was under the MSRP and they even held it for us for over a week while we were waiting for my fiancé to get his motorcycle license. We NEVER felt pressured to buy anything, but we felt extremely informed on all of our choices. We even added a helmet to our financing after spending over an hour learning about our options. The financing process was extremely painless and they only ran our credit to one financing company to see if we'd be approved, instead of running it through a lot of different companies. Horrible service. What a joke!! They had my jet ski for 4 weeks waiting on the service manual. I downloaded the manual myself and took it to them. It took me all of 5 minutes to find it. They charged way too much and I ended up being so frustrated I took it before it was fixed. They were rude and absolutely no customer service. Beware!!! read more

HORRIBLE, HORRIBLE, HORRIBLE!!! Broadway Power Sports is the absolute worst service hidden behind a smiles and "nice guys". I turned my jet ski's in on July 2nd and was told I'd have them back on the 4th. I didn't get them until mid September and that was after I literally just showed up and took them. I would call concerning them and be on hold for 15 minutes at a time and have to hang up and call back. When they picked up they said they would keep me informed...well they didn't. They are concerned with volume not quality service. Also when I picked up my skis they looked like they had been in a tornado. They don't deserve anyone's business and hard earned money. Brought in my rear differential for bearing replacement a month later and dozens of phone calls just to be put on hold and frustrated! I will be reporting them to the BBB.
