I left a one star review on google, which I felt accurately reflected my experience and was contacted by the owner, Lindsey. During the phone call, I did not feel heard at all and felt gaslighted that my experience "wasn't terrible enough to be a one star and maybe consider raising it to a three". I was also told that my actions are hurting a small business and the consultant took my review very personal. TLDR; Can't recommend this business to others unless you want to be feel unwelcomed during the entire process and then be harassed for you feeling that way :)

I was able to try on a lot of dresses in a short amount of time thanks to how efficient and respectful they were. Each dress was placed in my fitting room already unzipped, so I could easily slip it on, and a stylist would come in just to zip it up. It was such a modest and comfortable process, and I really appreciated that. That said, I didn't experience much interaction or guidance from my stylist. Maybe it was because I had two people with me to talk through things, but I don't recall receiving any input, suggestions, or just general information from the staff. I also wasn't offered help picking dresses or narrowing things down by budget. I can't speak to prices overall, as I wasn't really focused on that during my visit. In hindsight, since it was my first stop, I may have unintentionally taken more of a "browse everything" approach. While I'm grateful for the chance to try on so many options here, the lack of personal connection ultimately made me glad I didn't find my dress at Lex's. I found much more warmth, support, and guidance at the shop where I said yes.

Fast forward almost 6 months later, after trying to track my dress down over the past two weeks (I received an email on 3/10 saying my order had arrived and they would be shipping them out to us the next day), the DC office said they had the dress and apologized for the mixup and told me to send them an I address so they could ship it to me, there was NO mention of an additional charge or that they would not ship the dress to another Bella location. Today, they informed me that it would be an additional $26.50 for them to ship the dress to my home address as they do NOT ship dresses between locations. It's absolutely ridiculous that this information was NEVER communicated to me at any point during this process and I will be highly discouraging my friends and family from using Bella in the future.

She got an absolutely gorgeous ring from them. I decided to look at their Instagram and fell in love with their gorgeous jewelry. Fast forward in time and I fell head over heels for their seafoam compass kite ring. My partner used to make maps and we've traveled/grown a lot together in the years we've been together and I loved the symbolism the ring had for me. We set up an engagement ring appointment earlier this year to try on different rings and get my ring size. We spent an hour learning all about engagement rings and drooling at all the stunning designs. I fell in love with so many rings that afternoon. Lexi, the specialist who helped us, was absolutely incredible. Her knowledge and kindness made the special experience 1000x even more special. I was so giddy and excited. And I felt like she shared and encouraged my excitement. I went back one other time to show my mom the rings and she loved them too. My now fiancé had a good experience with Emily Warden Designs. Do know that they won't melt down metals, but they can use stones from other rings. We were given his grandmother's engagement ring and the center diamond of my ring is now that stone. I love having a piece of her with me with the gorgeous design. My fiancé had to place a custom order to use the center stone, but told me it was an easy process. They say it takes 4-8 weeks to make it and he got it in 5 I believe. We went to school in Miami, so he proposed to me at the riverwalk where we had our first kiss. I love my ring so much. This was a smaller order for them but they were happy to help. I sent a couple of emails with pictures to give them an idea of what I was looking for and they nailed it. The wedding was held two hours away from them but luckily they coordinated with my photographer (who lived in their area) for her to deliver the flowers. I was originally going to put together my own bouquets but so glad I spent the money. They were very reasonable and the quality was amazing.
