We wanted to buy candy apples. I called ahead to make sure store was open--recording said 4:30 pm close time. Drove downtown, paid $2 for parking, showed up at 4:15--and store was CLOSED. Nobody at all in store; looked like it had been closed for a while. If your hours are posted online that closing time is 4:30--and your phone message also states 4:30, you should respect your customers enough that you close AT 4:30 and not at least 15 minutes before (as confirmed by my vehicle clock, 2 iPhones, and my daughter's digital watch). read more

This chocolate store is very small but has 3 glass cases of items. I got the chocolate covered oreo and some caramel popcorn. They had excellent customer service. All 3 employees came to assist us and in general talk about the Billings area with us. They do take credit card. read more

I have never been to this candy shop myself, but I've called from Texas numerous times to buy gift cards for my parents who say they love the candy. For me, I give 5 stars for customer service. They haven't always accepted credit cards, but they actually were willing to bill me and let my mom purchase her candy in-store without having received payment yet on the very first time I called them after looking them up online. I would never blame a business for not doing that, but to me, that was above and beyond and I really appreciated it. I love supporting local businesses and this lovely little candy shop is on my list of favorite local shops. The store is TINY and packed to the brim with goodies. I went in today searching for one of their famous caramel apples but was so disappointed when I was told they do not make them this time of year.... I then opted for the chocolate dipped strawberries only to be told that they were out... In the end I got a big peanut butter cup called 'Death by Peanut Butter'. I was shocked at the $6 price tag but I thought that since it was a treat I would splurge. Hmm...half of the peanut butter cup was peanuts with peanut butter on top. Huh?? I probably won't go back until they have their famous caramel apples. Those are worth the price. read more

Was homesick for Sees Candy and was told to try this. Am so glad I did! Store is small and unassuming but the candy is out of this world!

I called in from Boston asking if I could order a box of assorted chocolates for my mother for Mother's Day, who was staying at a nearby hotel. Jackie talked me through all my flavor options and wrapped up the box beautifully (my mom sent a picture!). Brockel's doesn't do delivery, but the hotel was able to pick up the box for me. Haven't been in the store so I can not comment on service or ambiance, but I received a box of chocolate cherries and a box of raspberry creams from my husband for our anniversary.
