Unlike the others, I have actually *had* Wilcoxson's icecream earlier this summer while road tripping through the US. To say that I was sorely disappointed by the taste of their ice cream would be an understatement. First, please understand that I paid nearly 8.50 for two cones, both completely "ordinary" flavors (vanilla and rocky road). I would at least award the business a 3-star or higher rating had their prices been at least reasonable, but at $4.25 per cone, the price just doesn't justify the taste. First, the vanilla. Bland, hard, and EXTREMELY sweet. The sweetness overwhelmed any semblance vanilla, as if I was eating iced sugar. The icecream was extremely hard to bite into, even after I licked the surface to "smooth' the texture. There was almost no texture to the icecream, and also no specks of vanilla bean. The vanilla must have not been fresh, because it had an odd bitter aftertaste to it. Next onto the Rocky Road. While I've only had a few taste of my friend's RR, we were both disappointed with the taste. I should also say that I have always been a fan of Rocky Road, and so my standards may be more peculiar than that of the average taster. In my opinion, the three part triumvirate that makes it great is 1) great chocolate flavor; 2) great almonds; and 3) real marshmallows (not marshmallow cream.) Sadly, Wilcoxson's had none of these. My friend who's had the Rocky Road thought it was so bad that he threw it out as soon as we left the store. For the price we paid, the icecream was an unfortunate letdown. read more

I grew up eating the ice cream and fudgesicles in Billings,MT . They are still going strong! We were in Montana vacationing from Littleton,CO and bought one almost every day of our 2 week trip. When we got to Cody, Wyoming we found that they had them at the grocery store so of course we bought a styrofoam cooler and some dry ice and brought 2 cartons of the fudgesicles home! Everything else aside, how can you call yourself premium ice cream and use pork gelatin in your product! Disgusting! Now that I know, never again! Gelatin, really? Went to one of the many places that serves Wilcoxson's in the area and asked if it was vegetarian, a worker told me yes....Never trust a teenager. Later we went for a trip to the store to buy some to take home, and bam. gelatin is indeed in EVERY flavor. I just don't get it. Ice cream does not NEED boiled skin, tendons, ligaments, and/or bones of animals. What the hell? Many many good ice creams are made without the need for dead animals in the ingredients. Bought some Wilcoxson's orange sherbet at the grocery store in West Yellowstone. It is the best orange sherbet I have ever tasted!! I love that it has little tiny bits of fruit in the sherbet. My sherbet loving husband adores this. We will be buying lots more! read more

This company has poor customer service. I called to ask a simple question and the person who answered the phone was rude and short tempered. I called because I bought two containers of the same exact ice cream yet one had way more cherries and the other had hardly any. All I asked was, "Can I give you the code off the container so that you can keep it for record on that batch in case there are any other callers?" I was sharply told, "I don't need anything you have. Advertising fresh cream and the butter fat is NOT what would be accurately described as the type of cream that they advertise. Also contains a chalky aftertaste that can only be a result of chemicals and additives that should NOT be there. Noted on the ingredients the additive of corn syrup solids and the corn syrup solids that are available for dairy purposes are from GMO corn production. Therefore I would avoid this ice cream if you are concerned about your health and long term health effects. read more

Was a bit disappointed because the ice cream looked like it could be good but it tasted like store-brand generic ice cream you get from the drugstore for $3.40 a huge carton.
