We had sandwiches. Sour dough roast beef, dried cranberries and hummus avocado. My wife had grilled cheese provolone sandwich. They were both good. For $8.00 it comes with some chips. Price is not bad for gluten free eats. The handcrafted coffee was also pretty good. We also bought coffee cakes and a scone. They are moist and pretty tasty. Overall, it is a pretty decent place. I didn't give it a 5 stars because nothing really wow me to make me "must" go back again. read more

The food is extremely expensive and tends to be not that good - bland or flavorless at best, wrong tasting and downright bad at worst. Service is usually great but it's hard to see where all the money is going given the lack of comfortable appointments or atmosphere. Being that I have been GF for so long I always search for stops along our travels to see what we can find. On our way to Bozeman from Colorado I managed to find this gem! The best part? This place is amazing! All organic and 100% celiac friendly gluten free! The bread is so soft you can actually make a heavenly soft PB and J sandwich like the old days without toasting the bread. Remember pre-celiac days of soft bread? This is the ticket! REAL bread...not the spongy or cardboardy bread from the store. This is home made goodness! They also have hamburger buns and dinner rolls. These freeze great for later as well. The Angel food cake is amazing! Cinnamon rolls are pretty good. They also do pizza crust to take home, which is awesome! You can order at their little deli and get a fresh sandwich, salad, or pizza. Or take any of the products home. The salads are not amazing. About a week ago I called Rae Raes to see if I could have a personalized birthday cake made for my friend. Such kind employees and amazing staff. The customer service was very good. Highly appreciate it. This turned out better then what I have imagined. Very grateful for their service. This bakery is a gem!! It is not very often that you come across a dedicated gluten free bakery that has a wide variety of menu items, but this place nailed it! I haven't had a donut in well over 5 years and their vanilla maple did not disappoint. We bought some other baked goods to take along for the rest of our roadtrip and they have been the perfect snacks. The entire staff, including the owner, was incredibly welcoming and friendly. The owners are so genuine and polite! We were passing through on a very long move/road trip. I got the cinnamon roll, lemon poppy seed bread, banana bread, and cinnamon raisin bread. I did order a gingerbread cookie but they were out of molasses and so I was given 2 sugar cookies instead. I have been gluten free for almost 24 years now and have tried lots of gluten free items/places. To be completely honest the sugar cookies weren't all that great. The cinnamon roll was a bit doughy too. I did really like the lemon poppy seed loaf and do recommend getting that. I see myself potentially ordering that again since I saw it was available for shipping on their website. RaeRae's is my new favorite spot in Billings. I'm from out of town and come to Billings a couple times a year for work and I recently started a gluten free diet. I was excited to see RaeRae's when I searched for gluten free options on yelp. The whole staff is super friendly and excited about what they do. There are great baked good options in the glass case and my favorite was the pumpkin spice cookie. I also loved the jalapeño cheese bread that I had on my grilled cheese sandwich. I love that Billings has a gluten free bakery. All of their products (that I have had so far) has been delicious. I love picking up a loaf of their raisin bread and having it for breakfast all week. So, I messaged RaeRae's bakery telling them what the type of cake i needed and sent two different picture ideas of what I was thinking. I was nerves to see how the cake would come out since I could not go in person to try any of their baked goods or see in person how they look. BUT I was in awe when I saw my cake! I've never left a Yelp review before, but this place deserves my 5 star review. To find good gluten free options is hard enough, but to find dairy free and egg free gluten free is even harder! This place hit the spot and checked all the boxes. The staff were friendly and efficient. The sandwiches were delicious- soft, tasty bread that held together. Even my husband was impressed! Amazing dairy and egg free cupcake, and I have a cookie to snack on later which I'm positive will be just as amazing. Also excited to try the white buns I bought for hamburgers. As anyone who eats gluten free knows, usually GF buns just fall apart by the end of the burger, but if these are anything like the bread I just ate, I'm excited to finally have found a bun that will actually do it's job! I stopped in RaeRae's as an out-of-town visitor after my dad passed away a few days ago. On the day of his passing, I hadn't eaten a real meal in days at that point. As a person with Celiac and dairy/egg allergies, finding RaeRae's was a godsend. I was so appreciative of the welcoming environment and the kind staff. They made an unbearable day the slightest bit better by providing me with a meal that wouldn't make me physically ill on top of the other pain I was already feeling from the loss of my father. My daughter was recently diagnosed Celiac and I wanted to get her a gluten free cake. I am from out of town so I ordered in advance on Facebook messenger. The customer service was outstanding! They were friendly and got back to me right away confirming my order. We picked up the cake along with some soft and delicious jalapeño rolls.
