Dr. Brockman is awesome. We were referred to him by some friends of ours who moved into Denver a few years ago. They had received referrals from folks at work--a downtown law firm. I have had a LOT of procedures performed by Dr. Brockman, and he always makes you feel comfortable. His staff are incredibly professional, and are a total pleasure to work with (especially Terri when scheduling appointments). His office is off of Lincoln and Park Meadows Drive--a bit of a drive for us from Denver, but totally worth it. His office is clean, new, and Dr. Brockman utilizes a lot of cool gadgets and technology in his practice. I love the fact that he calls me later in the day (or evening) after having a procedure done to make sure I am doing alright. They are also great about getting you in if you are in pain and need to be seen sooner than later. I would highly recommend Dr. Brockman if you need a great dentist. I don't have kids yet, but I will definitely be bringing them to this office for their dental care. read more

Ok - so I HATE dentists! No, I have absolutely loathed going to the dentist my whole adult life. This demented reviewer had some baaad people poking around in his mouth as a child! To top that off, I had braces, so I would see those sick bastards way too many times. Rewind to last year. I had a filling fall out from some shotty work years before. GULP! I had to find someone to fix this crap. Our neighbors recommended Brockman Family Dentistry. I went in to see him and the first thing I tell him is "You are a dentist - I already do not like you!" He shook that comment off and went on. He had x-rays of my mouth done and also took pictures of my teeth with his nifty gadgetry. He is a pretty high-tech dentist. He showed me all of the pictures and x-rays of my decaying chompers. He told me that they would not do anything today since I was not in pain and I was clenching the dentist chair like I was hanging on for life. He went out of his way to make me feel comfortable. He addressed that issue with a root canal and a crown. He made sure that the crown fit perfectly. FFWD to today. I have had cleanings and a couple of fillings done. It looks like I never had any work done at all! The man is a perfectionist, let me tell you. I never experienced any pain or issues. I even let him pull my wisdom teeth, although he recommended an oral surgeon! He did a great job. After every procedure (except cleanings of course) he calls you in the evening to make sure everything is ok. Who else does that? Doc Brock rocks! read more

I've been to Dr. Brockman's office three times and after my experiences I have decided to switch dentist offices even though his office is conveniently close to work and my husband likes the practice and continues to go there. The biggest ongoing problem for me was that it would take 1-2 months to get into the office for a cleaning! I find that crazy! Full disclosure, I did request early mornings or late afternoons, but my last appointment I tried to schedule back in December and it wasn't going to be until February! I had no problem getting in the same week at my new dentist- Lone Tree Family Dentistry. I was also very surprised when I arrived for my first appointment they did not even clean my teeth. It was a consult. The problem was I didn't need a consult because I don't have any ongoing dental issues, I just wanted a cleaning. Nobody explained this would be a consult, which I found to be a waste of time and I would have to wait another number of weeks for the cleaning. This seemed like a way to get more money out of insurance and felt inefficient. I was also quite surprised to find out that Dr. Brockman offers Botox. But that's all I will say about that. I have always had a wonderful experience from dental cleanings, to fillings, and today a wisdom tooth extraction. Going into it I was nervous despite my good experiences at his office & the trust I had in Dr. Brockman. I went in with expectations of pain and a lengthy procedure, but that was anything but the case. Dr. Brockman and his advanced techniques, gave a couple brief numbing shots and in less than 30min my wisdom tooth was out! It was the fastest and smoothest experience I've had at the dentist after some horrifying experiences elsewhere in Colorado. Dr. Brockman and his staff are incredible & exceeded my expectations! Very professional, friendly, and knowledgeable. My terrible insurance wasn't covered, but Dr. Brockman is so good and the only one I trusted to remove my wisdom tooth, so I consider paying out of pocket well worth it!! Btw I am a major dentist snob since I grew up with my uncle as my dentist, so if I am raving about him you should definitely consider him for any of your dental needs! Having suffered from purging anorexia for over ten years, I came to Dr. Brockman with many dental problems. I had since all but ceased seeing my previous dentist due to the shame I felt whenever I had an appointment. However, after relocating to Denver and getting engaged, I summoned up enough courage to seek out a new practitioner. From that time, about 2 years ago, to now, I have continuously been grateful that Dr. Brockman is the dentist I chose to contact! While I continue to struggle with my own self-consciousness and the effects my illness have incurred on my dental health, I am continuously greeted with an entire team that treats me with respect and care. Beyond that, I have also been grateful that Dr. Brockman's practice follows state-of-the-art practices rather than the dated methods I received from my previous dentist. They show you everything on the screen in front of you so you know exactly what they are talking about. They let me know about things that could help my sensitivity but didn't push it on me. My husband, my kids and I all go to Dr. Brockman's practice. We are so impressed with our experience that we referred my parents, as well. My mom is disabled and the office is super accommodating and able to work around her needs. My dad had heart surgery recently and the office called me to see how he was doing and inquire about how things were going with my mom's care during his rehab. The office staff, the doctor, and the techs are all wonderful. We went in very skeptical after a horrible experience with another office, but we would recommend Dr. Brockman and his staff without hesitation. They are fantastic. read more

BEWARE of BROCKMAN FAMILY DENTISTRY!!!! I was not advised that I was Out-of-Network until after services were rendered. Then the office manager very unprofessionally accused me of lying about that. Although Brockman Family Dentistry has been paid almost $300 from the insurance company, they have inundated me with bill after bill in an attempt to collect the out-of-network balance due of $116.00. All this for a Cleaning and four X-Rays. I have reported them to the Better Business Bureau. They are a very unprofessional office. Do yourself a favor and find another Dentist. read more

Dr. Brockman and his staff are great. I went to him based on all the great Yelp reviews and I wasn't disappointed. I had a bad experience with another local dentist and Dr. Brockman reviewed my x-rays and assured me I did not need the dental work the other dentist recommended. He did a great job replacing two failing fillings with minimal anesthetic. It was good that he did because there were cavities under the fillings that would have simply gotten worse over time. The injections didn't hurt a bit as they use a topical numbing gel before performing the injections. His staff is pleasant, everyone is positive and kind, and they work with you if you have any insurance issues. They even have an in house dental plan you can choose if you don't have insurance! I'll make this brief but thorough! In Oct. 2014, I went to see Dr. Brockman for a crown. Dr. Brockman's office had called Cigna to verify the amount that would be my responsibility which was $631.00. In Jan. 2015, I again went to see Dr. Brockman for a crown. Supposedly, the office called Cigna again to verify the amount that would be my responsibility which was $597.50. In March, I received a bill asking me to pay $892.00. I immediately called Dr. Brockman's office to ask for an explanation. They did not seem to have a good explanation! I would think if the office staff is trained properly, they would know their insurance inside and out! Then I called Cigna. They informed me that they had never received a call from anyone in Dr. Brockman's office to get verification of the amount I would be responsible for, AND they informed me that they were not IN NETWORK. If they would have called Cigna and provided me with the correct information, do you honestly think I would have proceeded with the procedure that was going to cost me $1,489.50. I came to Dr. Brockman originally because he took Cigna insurance, and my previous dentist, whom I had been with for 20 years, did not take Cigna. POOR BUSINESS PRACTICE! read more

My whole family goes to Dr. Brockman and we could not be happier with the treatment we have received. I love the staff there as they are so nice and actually know my name when I come into the office. I actually feel like they really value us as patients. My son has braces now and they have taken the time to show him how he needs to brush, waterpick, and floss. They also take the time to actually show him where he needs to improve his brushing. read more

Dr. Brockman and his staff are just awesome! Going to the dentist is not fun and generally stressful, but I always feel quite comfortable and end up having fun while I am there. At one point I did fall asleep during a cleaning, just goes to show how comfortable I to feel when I am there. I've been to this office once and will not be going back. It's unfortunate that I had such a horrible experience because the doctor was thorough and seemed nice and caring. However, I soon paid the price $$$. When I called to make an appointment, I was told that my insurance was in-network. My mistake for not double-checking this as I trusted them (again, my bad). After the initial exam I was told I needed a deep cleaning which would cost $422. I was very upset by the cost but they convinced me I needed to have it and it would solve a lot of problems for me. It was a really short cleaning and took no more time than a typical cleaning would. I was then charged $15 for a "prescription" strength mouthwash and sent out the door. I have noticed no change to my gums and have been receiving additional bills!! So far I'm on the hook for $509 AFTER insurance for a "deep cleaining"!! In addition, they sent me home with a toothbrush that was so cheap the bristles came out while I was brushing and got stuck in my gums (ouch!). I've read some great reviews on this place so I'm hoping this was a one-time bad situation. read more
