I have to say that not only is Willow Creek the best dentists I've had, but their periodontist/orthodontist is amazing too. I felt really bad because my kids were on Christmas break and I didn't have anyone to watch them for my periodontic consult, so they tagged along. Dr. Boyesen was so gracious, and she even gave them snacks (after okaying it with me), engaged them in conversation, and didn't make me feel bad for bringing them. Not only that, but she was so great, very cheerful, singing to my favorite beloved 80s music, explaining things in great detail so I understood with my limited knowledge what was going on. I left there so happy and with the knowledge that while she could've easily told me I needed a (what I now understand to be totally unnecessary at this point) gum graft and charged me thousands of dollars, she instead reassured me, educated me and filled me with the Knowledge and confidence that everything is ok as of now. i feel exactly the same about their dentists. I have been to many dentists that advise multiple procedures that turn out to be unnecessary (e.g. biannual mouth cancer screenings with a "special light" that costs $180 each in myself who is a low risk patient without smoking history, under age 40 at the time) which is also never covered by insurance. But with Willow Creek, I have never felt like they're trying to scam me. I was sad when they moved to the tech center because I was literally 7 min from their Lone Tree office. But, a good, trustworthy, competent, friendly dentist is hard to come by and as far as I'm concerned, they can move to Paris and I'd still remain their patient because there aren't many out there like them. read more

I had a terrible toothache last night and I don't have a dentist in Colorado, because we've only lived here 5 months. This morning I woke up and started calling around to several places to hear a lot of rude receptionist. UNTIL I called Willow Creek. They were the nicest most pleasant staff. They were able to squeeze me in there busy schedule today. Thank goodness, because I was in a lot of pain. From the moment I walked in the door they called me by my name without me ever being there. Everyone was so nice, smiles on there faces asking if I needed water and how my day was going. I saw Elizabeth and she could tell I was nervous. She explained everything she was going to do before she did it and then as she was looking in my mouth she told me what she was doing. She made me feel at ease. I would say she's one of the best dentists I've ever been too. I had the best experience from the moment I walked in the door until I left. WCD is the only dental place I've been to in Colorado and I have no reason to try elsewhere. The staff are always very friendly (and they seem happy which is important) and the place is clean. It's a relatively large office meaning they have several people employed meaning you can usually get an appointment timely (my experience is with cleanings and couple fillings so far, I'm unsure on appointment availability for other procedures). The two dentists I've met so far have both been thorough in their explanations, open to questions and willing to spend time needed with you to ensure all your questions are answered. The office sends you text reminders for appointments which is great and the text reminds you about cancelation rules, too! Their cancelation rules are very straightforward (again, may be different for different procedures so I'd recommend checking) and truly allows for flexibility which I appreciate as a customer. The one thing I'd recommend is checking with them before your cleaning what your insurance covers. I knew my insurance covered cleanings, but wasn't aware the fluoride and laser were additional costs. If they did tell me this before my appointment, I do not recall. After my first cleaning I had a small surprise bill (that I was given right after appointment so no big deal really) that wasn't too bad and I was happy to pay for it though wish I had a better understanding of it at that time. So now I request no additional procedures not covered by my dental insurance during cleanings and problem solved! Overall I'd highly recommend this location for your dental needs. There's plenty of parking around, the staff are friendly and make you feel comfortable, the place is clean, their chairs have a massage feature (I mean... Small details make a difference!), and their docs don't rush their time with you! What else do you need really? (aside from making sure they take your insurance!) read more

Terrible experience. My husband went in for a root canal. Not only did they not tell us that their taking of our insurance changed, but they weren't upfront about the costs. They charged us one thing at the office and now they keep sending us additional bills asking for more money. They apologized for the lack of communication but have done bugging about it. Now, we have paid almost $1,500.00 for something that our insurance says should have cost way less for out-of-network. I am going to file a complaint not only with the BBB, but with the courts if they don't stop trying to rip us off. read more

am very picky when it comes to choosing a dentist or doctor. I was looking for a good dentist and i decided to go to Willow Creek since I live across the street. The office in general is beautiful and very clean. I had Nicole as my hygienist and she was very professional and friendly. She walked me through everything she did step by step. She was so thorough that I did not have any questions or concerns. Doctor Liu was also great, as were the ladies at the front desk. I suggested to my husband that he should definitely go, as well. This is an amazing dental practice. After 5 years + being a patient, and, as someone with difficult teeth and lots of problems requiring ongoing care, they are careful to keep detailed and accurate records and make sure to give the best care currently available. I think dentistry is still a bit primitive and am hoping the technology evolves but that's a separate discussion. Having moved to Colorado from New York City and used some of the best professionals there, this practice is light years ahead of any of the big Madison Avenue dentists back east. They are dedicated to their work in a way that is unfortunately rare these days. Keep in mind though, they are not at all inexpensive! read more

I have complicated dental issues and they have been great. Dr. Zhu is really cool and he kids around a lot - and that helped me keep calm. More importantly, his attention to detail is excellent. I also really like Dr. Minavi who did a root canal and a surgical removal of potential septic bacteria in my deep roots in my upper gum. He did a fantastic job. While it was very invasive, the recovery was very quick and pain free. read more

Only go there if you don't mind losing a tooth. August 2015, I opted to splurge and have Dr. Kylee Brightside replace my old molar's crown with a nice, pretty new one using her One-Hour magic box. This was a true leap of faith that cost me $1246+ and well--now my entire tooth. The #30 crown Willow Creek Dental made was functional, but not detailed like a traditional, lab-produced crown. I was disappointed, because at the time there was no rush. I was very specific to ask Dr. Brightside beforehand if it would look like A REAL TOOTH w/details and match all the other Hollywood crown & veneers I have. Oh Yeah. Uh huh. No. So as I enjoyed all the nitrous oxide, Dr. Brightside ground off THE ENTIRE TOP of my molar and carved out so much more of my tooth that Peter Dinklage could stand straight up in my mouth. That #30 molar had a root canal done, so I can't feel it. Then, she used an "unstable, improper foundation" to mount the crown. Yeah, that nice new oral upgrade of mine didn't last stay on long. By May 2016, the crown came off. Fortunately, I was back home in Dallas; back to my trustworthy old John Wayne-stud dentist. He shows me all of Dr. Brightside's handiwork. Not only was my tooth decayed under the misfit crown, but now the X-rays show the tooth is also cracked. He tells me to get ready to money-up, because this is bad and my tooth is non-restorable. He did his skeptical best to re-attached the crown just to hopefully buy me some time to get funds together. June 30th: Off that wonky little crown wobbles. Wiggle, wobble, off. Game over. Game Of Thrones over. Shame. Shame. Tomorrow I have to go have the my molar pulled out. Yep, I'm just in my 40's and I have no choice but to have a fake tooth eventually screwed into my jaw. Revolting. This dental implant surgery will cost over $5k and take 8-12 months. Oh, but their hygienists are nice. Shame. Shame. Shame... read more

I started going to willow creek dental about three years ago when they purchased the practice I was previously going too I've had issues with my teeth my entire life and extensive work Some of that earlier work started to fail and I was pretty much left with moving to some implants Although there are practices that do nothing but implants etc, I decided to stay with willow creek for the process. DO NOT GO TO THIS DENTIST. I was a patient here for three years and had no issues until last week. I had an appointment scheduled, received a confirmation text and everything. I showed up for my appointment and they had GIVEN IT AWAY. Siting that I did not call to confirm. Why should I call to confirm when I received a confirmation text message? And their "apology" was a $5 Starbucks gift card. If I had no-showed on them, I'd be charged $100. I deserve more than a fake apology. The LEAST they could have done was inform me in advance that my appointment was given away so that I wouldn't have had to leave work and miss three hours of productive time. This was my first time here & to say I wasn't at least a little bit anxious would be a total lie; I was anxious, like a lot. It was my first dentist visit since moving and I had been putting it off for sometime. Upon my arrival, I was met with friendly smiles & empathetic conversations. So far, so good. When seated in that daunting dentist chair, I was offered a blanket as it was chilly in the office. What a kind gesture! Gladly, I accepted it and we began to discuss my dental history, exchanged jokes, and I could feel my nerves being eased. Seriously, a kind conversation goes a long way! Having filled out their new patient forms, they were aware of my disdain for needles. They accommodated me SO WELL. Instead of the normal numbing shot, they used topical numbing cream & it worked like a charm. I went to this dentist on recommendation from my husband. The receptionist was very friendly, and I didn't have to wait very long. The dental assistant was nice enough and I had shared with her that I have terrible teeth and apologized for whatever she may find. I saw her write down on the exam form "patient states she has terrible teeth." I can just imagine they were thinking !CH CHING! She started the examination and then I met the dentist. She stated that they needed to break up the cleaning in THREE visits and it MAY not be covered completely by my insurance. Seeing that I was already there, I went ahead with the cleaning. Upon completion, another appointment was scheduled for the next cleaning. Then I got my estimate...for $11,000, after my insurance! The more I thought about it, the more I started to question them. So the afternoon before I was to go in, I decided to cancel my appt, and get a second opinion. The receptionist was not as friendly this time. I was informed very icily that I might be charged a cancellation fee since I had not cancelled within 24hours. Sure enough, I received a bill in the mail for over $300!! First of all the teeth cleaning that might not be completely covered was NOT covered at all, I was charged a $95 cancellation fee, and I was charged for X-rays. I was 7 months pregnant at the time, and you can't get X-rays when you are pregnant. Worst experience I have ever had at a dentists office in my life. Unprofessional, rude, and they think they can take advantage of people. read more

Every dentist office I called was either closed because it was Friday or the Drs were at the dental convention. This office was amazing and squeezed me in that afternoon. Sure enough I needed a root canal. They then called around and found a endodontist that could see me in 30 minutes so I didn't have to go through the weekend in agony. I was recommended to WCD by a co-worker and have been very pleased with my experiences there thus far. Staff is very friendly and make you feel at ease. Facility clean, welcoming - and has massaging chairs!! Other offices also make you wait part your scheduled appointment time, WCD cares about their patients and their time! Only negative is the booking/billing department is pushy. Feel like I have been pushed into procedures that were not urgent. We know you have to make money, but sometimes it feels like a car dealership trying to make the sale by the end of the day. I will keep recommending to friends and family. read more
