Dr. Kim was recommended to me by a nutritionist who worked with me in Alaska and I have no doubt that he is a great doctor. My rating is not for the doctor himself, but for the practice. I did not get to see Dr. Kim. I arrived about 45 minutes early for my appointment and knew I'd have some paperwork to complete so wanted to allow time for that and traffic. My husband was with me. We were greeted and welcomed and I took my clipboard to fill out the forms. Everything was great. Then the receptionist started talking to my husband and me. And she talked. And she talked. We responded to some of her comments but they were lost because she didn't stop. Friendliness is great. But this led to me walking out after about 50 minutes. Detailed stories about patients and how the receptionist had to "lecture" them about being accountable and following their diet. Very personal details about their conditions and history, treatment and response. I'm sure she thought she was advertising for the business. After just under 50 minutes and a little after the official start time of my appointment, I turned to my husband and said "There's apparently NO patient confidentiality here." I decided I didn't care to be the topic of the next conversation for the waiting room. At least not all my test results, recommendations and whether the receptionist thought I was a 'good patient' or not. I certainly don't want to be lectured about being accountable. First of all, I'm not five years old. I also don't care to be called "skinny" repeatedly. When you've been unwell and lost some weight, it's not exactly a compliment. On the basis that I have no confidence in the practice holding any kind of confidentiality, I decided to leave before I was called in. It's a shame. Dr. Kim is a recommended practitioner who does NRT, which is not easy to find. However, the lack of respect for privacy left us reeling in disbelief.

Normally with new doctors one can feel hesitant and a bit concerned however Dr. Sharman was wonderful. His entire staff was extremely professional and a pleasure to deal with. He was on time and made sure to not only answer all of my questions, but provide me answers to questions I was not even aware I should have asked.

Most of the staff here were absolutely amazing with the exception of one nurse, who was rude, obnoxious and honestly has no need to be in nursing (at least in my opinion). Anyone who works in Healthcare has an amazingly difficult job, but they need to remember that they are seeing many people at the worse times in their lives. Compassion needs to lead every conversation. Most of the staff here were incredible.

Everything changed in January when he changed his management structure. We had call to make an appointment and were quoted a price for self-pay. It was in line with what was paid the last time so we booked the appointment. The day of the appointment when at the the doctors office, we were told a different higher price. We explained that what we were told and that the person on the phone did mention she was new and had to ask peers questions to help us. Although this conversation did happen, the staff member lied and the manager office; John backed her misrepresentation and would not honor anything said. It is clear to see has truly taken the Hippocratic oath and who is now all about the mighty dollar. There are better doctors and staff to be found in the area. Do yourself a favor, think twice about going here.

I was scheduled for my appointment at the surgery center on June 11th. The Office orders the prep medicine and it is delivered to the house a few days before needed. Dr. Shamoun's staff were available for phone calls and very helpful. The surgery center was new and clean. My nurses Grace, Barbi, Shanell, and Desinee were all very kind and caring. Dr. Shamoun was great. My follow up appointment with Dr. Shamoun will be back at his office in the Gastroenterology of Greater Orlando. The nurses are so kind they called me today at home to check in to see how I was doing.
