Disappointing experience. From the start, there was a lack of attention during ordering -- we ended up with the wrong size pizza. When the food came out and we pointed out the mistake, instead of making it right, we were basically given two options: send it back and wait even longer, or just keep the oversized pizza. We were hungry and didn't want to wait, so we kept it. Not once did anyone follow up to check in after that. To top it off, we were charged full price for the large pizza we never asked for -- and still tipped, since we weren't given the chance to reconsider. What bothered me most wasn't the mistake itself, but the total lack of ownership. Rather than trying to fix the situation or make the customer feel taken care of, we were left to deal with the fallout. A little accountability would've gone a long way. read more

My wife and I have driven past this place for years--16 to be exact--and finally decided to stop in after some of her coworkers recommended it. I'd always been curious about the name (turns out it's actually named after a Led Zeppelin song, which is awesome). Right away, the vibe was super chill and welcoming. They've got cocktails here too, not just beer, and I've got to say--the "Bad Santa" was incredible. Basically an adult hot cocoa, and easily one of the best things I've had in a while. Their blonde was a little hoppier than expected (in a good way), and the blueberry beer was really smooth and flavorful. But the real showstopper here is the pizza. These aren't your average bar pizzas--they're handmade, beautifully done, and full of flavor. You really have to see or taste them to understand how much love goes into making them. And the prices? Totally reasonable for how good they are. After all these years of driving by, I can't believe we waited this long to check it out. The BBQ Pulled Pork pizza is absolutely amazing!! I have had to recreate it at home because I miss it so much! We found Bron Yr Aur while looking for a Harvest Host location to camp with our van for the night in the Yakima area. I ordered a pound of wings, and Hubs ordered pizza and beer. The wings were cooked perfectly, hubs also really liked his pizza and beer. The staff members who took our order and served our food could not have been nicer. The girlfriend and I came here for a pizza when I came back to town. I'd been here before, but it's been over 8 years. It used to be that when you finished eating you could crumple up your pizza pan foil paper and shoot and try to make it into a hoop behind the counter, but the server today told us that people ruined the fun by stuffing gravel into their wad of foil and broke the glass backboard, or they'd throw it at the servers, so we can't do that anymore. I ordered the Ranchero which comes with bbq sauce base, chicken, bacon, red and green onion, cheddar cheese, and I asked to add pineapple, ranch drizzle on the side instead. Bron Yr Aur is just the type of brewery we love! Lot's of space, family friendly fun, plenty to do and great beer and pizza!! Service is fine, we didn't really experience any other than the taking of the order since we wanted to sit outside. It was basically a fend for yourself experience for us! We ordered our pizza and beer then they called over a loud speaker when it was ready. We got our beers and headed outside on the lawn since it was a beautiful day. There were pool noodles for the kiddos to play with, sort of an easy fun thing to have, just not enough of them! Tons of lawn to play on but not much seating so we had a sort of picnic with a couple chairs! A local gentleman said we could move tables anywhere we wanted to so we took a small one off the patio when our pizza was called. The beer was great, some unique tastes and fun things to try. I'm not a hoppy fan so I got the Beaver Deceiver and really enjoyed the smoothness of it. The others in our party also enjoyed what they had and went back for more, mostly the double red! The pizza and meatballs were good but those cheddar tot things were weird! Not sure about the texture, the breading on the outside made them super dry. All in all, it was a great experience and the entire family enjoyed the opportunity to sit outside on a gorgeous lawn and relax! read more

I could have sworn there was a brewery here previously as I remember being to this location before but the name of the predecessor escapes me. So many breweries it all just blends to together I suppose when out on brewery adventures. I first had beer from Bron Yr Aur as a guest tap? (it was an IPA) at one of the breweries over in Packwood, Washington and was so very excited when I found out there was one in the Yakima area that I haven't tried yet. So on our next trip over to the area we made sure to come here. On my visit to the brewery proper I got their beer that was called the Beaver Deceiver. This was a Cream Ale that had a pleasant yeasty, subtle and creamy flavors to it. It was very light which was just right given it was a warm, summery day that we were out, trying new breweries in the area. I love the space here and I liked it the first time I was here and that is why I remembered it. A very relaxing place to go if you want a break from mountain and forest driving or the aridness of Yakima in which sometimes a nice cold beverage is in order. read more

I really liked this spot. They have a large outdoor space as well as a restaurant and taproom. I had the cream ale it was light and refreshing. We shared the jalapeño tater tots, they were tasty! They were definitely homemade and came with a yummy sauce. They also have pizza on the menu. I'd definitely stop here again sometime. read more

I brought kids, so main area we sat. The area has about 7 small tables and 2 large tables. The pizza is amazing! I opted for regular pepperoni which has 5 cheeses. It came well done which I love especially since I didn't ask. I also ordered a blueberry cider which had excellent flavor. It's local as well which I love. The customer service was excellent. Great place to take kids! Delicious pizza, solid beer selection and cool ambiance! Biggest perks include the nice, open field space for the kiddos to run around and keep themselves entertained and funny enough, the killer swag! I buy something from the gift shop almost every time we visit (once of twice a year since we live over on the west side of the state) because their designs are so clever. Bron Yr Aur was a stop for us coming back through Naches from a day in the forest. A group of super hungry and thirsty individuals can easily get satisfied with what's available here. We ate at the dinner portion only, there were enough tables evenly spaced out to handle a full room of patrons enjoying conversation and food. All soda drinks are in a bottle, the plastic type found in vending machines. Plates at this time were the silver wrappers you get on a Costco hotdog. This was unexpected, but works VERY well. This fun brewery on the side of the road was a recommendation from one of the gals that works in the Mexican place in Packwood. They have about 10 or 12 beers on top and we got a flight and tried all of them. I wish I would have taken notes but if I remember correctly the cream ale and the red and the porter and the stout were excellent. The blonde was so so and the other ones were slightly above average. We also ordered a pizza and it's got great crust and toppings and comes out piping hot. We got the Italian which is kind of a sausage salami onion pepperoni affair. It was pretty good pizza. They have a seasonal asparagus pizza which we should have tried if I'm driving down that road again will definitely get a pizza of that. There are several different sets of restrooms but the one I walked into was like a residential restroom with the sink and then a half wall and then a urinal and then a half wall and then a commode behind another half wall it had been like 300 ft². There's plenty of parking in the gravel lot adjacent to the brewery. read more

On the way out of Naches, on the way to White pass and just before you get out of town you'll pass this lovely little unassuming spot that is bringing the magic! The combo brewery and pizza shop is nothing new, but set against a backdrop of the climbing cascade, in a spot where you're close to town but feel far away - it's like the book is writing itself! The pizza here is seriously some of the best we've had in a long time. The crust is simply amazing and they do a really nice job mixing flavor and keeping the combos exciting. Our favorites thus far have been the Suraci barbecue and the gourmet bacon cheeseburger. With also tried some of the standard offerings including the Timberwolf, which is basically a meat lovers with a few veggies - that one is excellent as well. In the winter time, they have cheese zombie and tomato bisque night on Thursdays and it's always a good time. We would often get one she zombie and a couple pizzas between two families and they always seem to fill us up well. The pizza was more impressive than that she zombies, but they get major points for creativity! I've only sampled a couple of the beers, but I've been very impressed with what I've had so far. The cream ale is lovely, the stout amazing and the Scottish ale spot on. What I appreciate most about this place is that despite being in the middle of pop country, they embrace it but don't go overboard. Plenty of the places around here have tons of IPAs, but nothing for those of us who want a little bit of meat with that beer. Here they've got a number of IPAs and pale ales as well as a nice spectrum from light to dark of things that don't all taste like a hop explosion. I celebrate the fact that 80% of the countries hops are grown in the valley, but I also appreciate when somebody brings a nice barrel aged stout to smooth out that bite. In case you couldn't tell we are huge fans of this place. The pizza is awesome, the beer is awesome, the appetizers are awesome and the people that own the place are awesome as well! We always drive by this place when we head into Naches & Yakima - we decided we would stop on our way thru. It was super busy - Saturday afternoon. We weren't sure about how we order but we grabbed the only open table in the "restaurant" area (we had our 2 daughters with us) and a waitress came over after the large party left. We ordered sodas, jalapeño cheddar tots with ranch & their fry sauce, small cheese, small taco pizza & small spicy Hawaiian. It took a bit of time to get our food but when it arrived, it was hot and great tasting. Coke products were readily available- paper straws upon request. The bathroom in the restaurant area had only "1" room...The place was clean and very well situated (brewery in the back but joined with outdoor seating area).
