This is a very vice establishment inside the Ellensburg Pasta Company. When we arrived the place was busy in both the restaurant and bar area with live music playing We received a friendly welcome and were served warm bread with a heaping of shredded garlic along with oil and vinegar. We all ordered the small Caesar salads which were very good, they were good size and the dressing had a nice zing. We also ordered the steak with vegetables (lots of veggies)and my wife said it was delicious, my daughter had the fettuccine alfredo which she said had a great creamy sauce and I had the spicy chipotle linguine which was also fantastic. My only complaint was I would like it if the chicken pieces were half the size But overall we decided it's worth the hour drive to go eat. read more

This place is a hidden gem; the outdoor seating was awesome especially on a beautiful sunny day. Our server Rachel was amazing; I have Celiac so having gluten free options is a must. This place didn't disappoint; I felt so accommodated. I was even brought my own little basket of table bread separate from the regular bread my husband got. I got the Eburg burger which was a July special, so delicious. There were no gluten free buns available so I was fine with no bun, but the staff were amazing and gave me some extra gluten free bread to add. Above what I expected. Same menu as the place next door. Really fun old building with wooden rafters and a very cozy looking bar maybe a TV or two. I have the chicken parm and the chicken was hand-breaded and crunchy with a delightful red sauce. The spaghetti was a little dry but the star of the show was the chicken. We also ordered fettuccine alfredo with chicken and the alfredo was fantastic I would definitely explore that the next time. They have a full bar so we started off with cocktails and they bring out some delicious warm bread which comes with a little plate of garlic and then you add as much olive oil and balsamic vinegar as you like and dip it in there. read more

After a wonderful Christmas performance at the Windrow my husband and I went to Bruce for a late night dinner. Because it was late we decided to split an entree. We split a large dinner salad and the chimichurri porterhouse. I was very disappointed in the salad and the steak both. The salad had lots of discolored and brown lettuce and the steak was over priced, fatty with lots of gristle. I make chimichurri at home often and their's was not as good as I make at home. It was very spicy. Because we live near by I can't say we would not go back. I can say I would not order the porterhouse again. read more

What a neat find. Ate at the pasta place next door yesterday and was contemplating returning there but remember saw this place on Yelp right next to it. You walk into a dark dive bar. They have ample seating with high tops including outside seating. They serve the same menu as the pasta company next door but do have certain items listed as "bar menu". Two small TVs around the bar seating but didn't really feel their "absence" because I was enjoying my environment as is. Had the burger off the menu and it didn't disappoint. Did have to salt it (I never salt anything) which was sad but overall a good burger. Lots of drinks flowing through the bar. Troy, the bartender was amazing and efficient. Service was top notch. Really friendly place to come hang out with friends and enjoy cocktails, draft beer, wine and bar food or delicious pasta. Bruce's place is the pub side of Ellensburgh Pasta Co. This place has amazing food and Bruce's has a more relaxed bar feel with lots of sports and automobile themed decor. The waitress was attentive and had good recommendations for a local wine as well as for specific dishes. I was pleased that they have an entire GLUTEN FREE-DAIRY FREE menu in addition to the regular menu with many choices. They even have 3 types of GF pasta! This place is wonderful. We are from out of town and our friends from Ellensburg brought us here. First - they made a scratch margarita (I don't like extra sugar) and it was the bomb. Seriously. The food was great. Their tomato soup is so good - rich and savory. The best I've had. The steak salad was fresh and tasty. The atmosphere was similar to bar/ restaurants you would see in bigger cities. I've been to McSorley's in NYC, for example and this was similar. Loved it. read more

We have ate here a few times and it has always been a great experience. Well last night my husband and I went out for our wedding anniversary and the food was AMAZING as usual... however... the customer service was horrible compared to usual. We wanted to enjoy our time there and we felt very rushed the whole time. I even told the waitress that we are in no rush at all. After our appetizer she came back and I wasn't ready to order but she stood there anyways so I thought well I better figure it out then. I don't understand cause it wasn't even busy and usually when we are there it is packed. When I was finished with my drink I wasn't able to order one for quite a while. She ignored us most of the time and then right after our food was done brought us boxes and the bill... then not even a minute later tried to grab the bill like I had any time to put my card in there. The people beside us ordered the same thing after us and when their food came she offered to grate cheese onto their meals, but never did for us. Also noticed that she preferred helping the other two tables in our section A LOT more. So I am not really sure what this waitress's deal was with us but we were not impressed at all because it seemed like she was doing it on purpose. We always get good service here. We should have just gone to the actual Pasta Company next door because then we probably would have got the service we deserved. I'm a bit disappointed. Sorry but customer service is the key!! 4 stars for the food but had to take one because of this rude waitress. Hope no one else has to deal with an experience like that at such a great establishment. Such a shame. read more

This is my favorite restaurant & bar in town. The food is delicious and they always have a really good selection of beer. I also used them to cater our wedding. They did an excellent job. All of our guests raved about the food. We even had a couple of guests with pretty extreme food allergies and they were able to accommodate them. I just can't say enough good things about this place.
