Lew and Jen are great people i cant see how anyone at all can say they bought something that was fake or junk, when they have the chance to go check out EVERY ITEM prior to the auction. if you dont bother to ask or go check it out, then that is your fault not someone selling it. get off your ass and go check it out. simple. anyhow Lew and Jen are great people and i have compleatly furnished my house from the auction and have not had one issue with anything i bought there. they are fair priced and no issues in over 10 years. read more

Nothing ever works. If it has a small engine, electronics, or mechanical parts, it hasn't worked. Literally everything Ive bought like that hasn't worked. Anytime anytime asks if an item is tested they seem to respond "untested". Maybe take some time to turn things on. There's no way I'm the only one that has had this happen multiple times. At these commission rates you'd think you're getting working items. And enough with the pervy comments all the time, gucci isnt pronounced coochie read more

You just won't find better deals anywhere else. Enjoy auction from your own home by bidding online. I bought one item for $35, which was worth$12k, another for $95 worth $5k. Crew very helpful at pickup. They move massive amounts of stuff each week. They also have program to help grade school kids. School supplies and food, etc. Owners, Lew is entertaining and Jen keeps everything together. read more

Very difficult people to work with, regardless if buying from them, or having them sell something for you. Antiquated bidder registration system involves "uploading" forms. They're rude and unprofessional, especially Jennifer. read more

Liars and Thieves! Broke items then lied about it. Jen held a clipboard asking me to sign a "receipt" for the items the took. Turns out it was a contract with a 60% commission rate! She to,d me 20% on the phone! Items they took were missing from the sold inventory list. Valuable items, including a set of silver with the certificate were sold for under $10! I could have gotten more if I had a yard sale! Jen also lied about having mailed a check When none had been sent! Stay away!!! read more

Company refused to pay me for the items that were sold. I was calling them for months and texting the owner but she wouldn't return my calls even after I left voice mails regarding the missing payments. Nor were the items returned to me. I still haven't received any call back or payment to this day. Horrible experience. read more

I called this company looking for more information on possibly auctioning a piece of furniture. The woman I spoke with was extremely rude and was giving me attitude when I asked her questions. Instead of educating me on the process she thought it would be better to answer with rude replies and making me feel stupid like I should have already known the answers. Thank you for the great customer service and I would never recommend this place to anyone because of the first impression I had over the phone. read more

History

Established in 2003.

Lew grew up in Buffalo NY in an auction family and has brought many years of experience of all types of auction to Florida in 1990. Since then Lew has conducted auctions for Manhiem and other auto auction facilities since 1994. Lew has also conducted auctions for private individuals, companies, churches and other fundraising events as well. In 2015 we saw a great need for a well run auction house here in Central Florida so we expediently set up our Longwood facility to service the Central Florida auction market. I haven't worked here in years but I still remember this being one of the worst places iv ever worked in my entire life. To this day I cant believe the abuse we endured through this company to where even the customers knew. The company owner and his gf were the worst people on planet earth. Paying me $13 an hour while the owner bragged to me about selling a car he had for $400,000. His gf ran the store and was the worst human being you could ever meet. Yelling and treating us like trash. They treated you like human scum unless you are a top paying customer. Avoid this company at all cost. They do not care about anything other than money. Not only that, but they would also. give you no breaks or lunch break, they would run you through the ground. I witness multiple people quit their first day. read more

I have Purchased and sold with Lew & Jen for almost 8 years and would not go anywhere else. Bidding online makes it a better fit for my working hours. I have purchased lots of great items ... A 1950s Coke Clock for $50 and sold it for $750 a Civil War badge for $40. sold it for $400 A radio for $15. and sold it for $300. ... Now having two days to pick up is great as I work my day job close by. We started going to Bronstein auctions after our other normal auction house closed down. We've enjoyed Bronstein's professionalism and fun atmosphere that they provide all of their auctions. They hold their auctions every Thursday night and the first and third Saturday of every month and it's become a night out for me and my other half, that we quite enjoy our evenings at this auction house. Everyone that works here is very helpful! If the phone isn't answered right away, I always receive a call back asap and it is pretty quick that I get called back. Best auction you will ever attend or watch online. Since COVID it has gone to all online with Zoom and it is perfect. Lew and Jen do an amazing job. Make sure to sign up so you are able to watch the auction and tell em Jimmie Brown sent ya. P.S.
