Today was the last tan of my package, so I have a good base tan to begin with, not to mention that I am Cajun and have olive skin. As I was walking towards bed number 15, I was told, " I'm not sure if anyone told you yet but you will only get eight minutes instead of the 10 minutes, which is what I paid for, because we got new bulbs in that bed" WHAT!! These are 10 minute beds!! Regardless of the age of the bulbs, I paid for a package of level four beds, and should not be limited on the time because of the age of the bulbs. You can only use the beds once a month (which is crazy and I've never seen that at a tanning place before). I started my membership towards the end of this month and was told it would renew July 1st instead of an actual full month. You have to cancel before the 25th, but they make you drive all the way over there and do it in person for some reason even though all the woman at the counter did was look at my ID for two seconds. The staff makes it super awkward, and when I left the tanning bed they were just sitting on the floor staring at me. Trying to understand how you guys operated was tough too as the girls at the front desk seemed shy or unsure of what to do. I literally drove back less than a week after starting the membership to immediately cancel it. I don't want to hate on the staff too hard bc most of them looked pretty young, but I'm also pretty young (in my teens) and I understand that to make customers feel comfortable and not so alienated you have to at least pretend like you want to be talking to customers. Everyone in the salon seems to not want to be there and they definitely seem like they mind customers using the beds they pay a ton of money for.
