When the company merger or exchange happened, I was told that my unused Malibu Tan credits would be honored at the new establishment, which is now Palm Beach Tan. Well due to life, I quit frequenting the tanning beds for a proximately six months. Fast forward to two months ago, I find myself in Palm Beach Tan being told that my credits were no longer valid. Mind you, this is about $200 worth of bought credits that they told me would be honored. I was never told there was going to be a time limit or any kind of stipulations attached to that. Had I known that I would've made other arrangements, to either use my credits or try and have them transferred to another member. I told them that was crazy and how could they get away with that? No response. I then said "it sure would've been nice if you would've let people know this was to occur" and I was told they did let people know some months back. However, I received no text or call or email letting me know that this was going to occur. So unless you were actively tanning , on a regular basis, I don't think that you were fairly warned that they would be dishonoring the credits of the previous establishment. To them this is an OK standard of business and I think in today's world, in this day and age, you're gonna have to do better than that. On top of that......the location I use (yes I had to tan somewhere and it's closest to my house but I vowed only for two moths for a base tan and I pay the absolute least amount of $ putting me on the lower level of patrons, which you can't help but notice you're on the lower class of the Tanners. Those who spend 100+ dollars a month to 10 unlimitedly and all beds are treated differently, another horrible idea in the tanning industry.) is consistently dirty and the staff isn't that happy, helpful or eager to assist the next customer. Unless you absolutely have to use this establishment, I would highly suggest using another facility. This is coming from someone that's been tanning for 20+.

Definitely one of the best Palm Beach Tan locations in terms of the super friendly and super stunning employees that work here, especially the brand new one who is such an easy going and totally cool sweetheart. We both loved her (Barbie and I), wish I knew her name. I'm a huge fan. The actual booth is in a room which is so cold that I felt like I was dying. Literally I've never had a cold room to this degree and the whole experience was torture. Ice bucket challenge x 15 mins anyone? The tan I got was okay but the employees and customer service are definitely the highlights. Palm Beach Tan in Katy does have a few issues. The air conditioning was turned so incredibly high in my room that I goosebumping my a** off and chattering my teeth (and not in a talkative way) until about halfway through. It was a 12-minute older tanning bed and actually bronzed me out pretty well and I appreciated it. And again, the girl working here. She's new but she's one of the most friendly and perfect people I've ever seen working at a salon. She should seriously be very famous.

I was a transport from Malibu Tans. My points/tans transferred over to Palm Beach when they bought Malibu Tans out. I enjoyed going to Palm Beach quite a few times and bought lots of merchandise from them as well. Went in tonight to be told my sessions expired in September. I had about 6 sessions left of the high level bed and 20 spray tans left. Malibu Tan never expired so I didn't think Palm Beach would. They should have told me and communicated that when they took over my account. Now I'm out all the money I spent on my tanning sessions and lotions that I bought there. Can I buy more, sure I can. But should I have to, No! Of course after telling me my sessions expired, she tried to selling me a package. I'm out $$ and now you want me to give you more money. No thanks.
