It's true that the prices might not be the lowest - but they aren't crazy at all, and you can get some good values here. The store people I've encountered are nice, and pretty helpful. If you're headed to Stamna for dinner, be sure to stop by here beforehand (it's just a few doors down). This place is massive and has all your booze bases covered. While it's not going to be a regular stop for wine connoisseurs, it should be able to fill anyone else's needs. Apparently this place has gone by a few different names over the years. This is a great local store for beer and wine. The people who work here are very helpful and know their stuff! Whenever my boyfriend and I want to wet our whistle, we walk over and ask for recommendations. I went in for a bottle of wine. I had a valid Pennsylvania ID, but the ignorant man at the counter refused me unless I had 2 forms of photo ID. Not sure about you, but I don't go around carrying my passport with me. Looked up the NJ law and it says absolutely NOTHING about needing anymore than 1 form of valid ID. I went to Belleville Liquors instead, and they are amazing. I'm outstandingly disappointed. Will never go back here. read more

Stopped in to buy a 6 pack of Stella. The price was clearly marked as $8.99 on the door handle of the cooler. The price at the register came up as $9.99 and they wouldn't honor the displayed price. Bad business practice. read more

This place has a pretty good selection but beware! If you are buying multiple items, make sure you have the final price or a good estimate of the total before you pay at the counter. One of the guys will try to rip you off by charging you more than the actual total. Be careful! I used to come to this place a lot but after witnessing and almost falling victim to this unethical behavior, I'm pretty much done with this place. read more

This is my favorite liquor store around. I've been coming here for years and the staff is always super friendly and helpful. Their selection of craft beer is extensive, and the prices are good. They deliver to Montclair and are really quick- so if you're looking for something specific that one of the stores in Montclair don't have, I usually call here. User caution here the prices are higher than average. While others on yelp say it's slightly higher I find liquor to be 3 to 5 dollars higher and 3 to 10 higher on wine. I refuse to go back. read more
