Her reasoning made no sense and it was painfully clear that her priority was making money, not patient care. To make matters worse, the assistant and front office staff were unresponsive and disorganized--it took days just to get a basic appointment scheduled. The experience felt unprofessional and dismissive from start to finish. Afterward, I consulted two other dentists who had no issue assisting me and treated me with professionalism and genuine care--something that was completely lacking at Dr. Kelly's office. Oh, and the waiting room? The furniture is far too low to the ground--completely inconsiderate for many patients. It's just another sign that money is being pocketed rather than reinvested in patient experience. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else.

When I confronted DFD about this - they told me that Aetna was apart of our insurance. When I called my Insurance company , they said " wehave no affiliation with Aetna". In the meantime , my husband had been seen for extensive dental work and only a portion was being covered ( because we were already out of network without our knowledge). The front desk girl, McKenna continued to bill our insurance per usual and told us she was doing that. If we had payments due at the time , we paid them, Not even realizing it was because they already dropped our insurance at DFD. I think they could've handled this better and TOLD us when we were there multiple times over a 6 month period that we were no longer in network. Once we did find out , we switched dentists immediately! Guess what ? No out of pocket costs either !

I visited for a lost filling (lower right second molar). A crown was recommended by her. I developed excruciating pains throughout my entire upper/lower jaw, gums, teeth, and upper neck after her temporary crown procedure. This lasted nearly 2 months, right up until another dentist addressed the pain by removing her temp crown and putting on his own. At my follow-up (originally for the permanent crown), Dr. Murphy spent barely a minute looking in my mouth before confidently declaring how a root canal was a must, based on "90% of her cases," not any imaging or patient-centered examination. When I emphasized that I had absolutely no pain whatsoever before her temporary crown procedure, she only gave me pitying looks, said teeth just wear away over time, insisted on no other alternative other than root canal, and suggested a "second opinion" -- from her referred endodontist she would have perform it, and Murphy to place the permanent afterwards. With my concerns of rushing invasive procedure, she sarcastically said we'll wait it out a week to see if it is a "magical tooth" that doesn't need a root canal to rid of the pain. Alarmingly, she even warned that without a root canal, an abscess would inevitably lead to tooth extraction. My insurance denied coverage for her crown procedure, stating no serious signs of decay or damage observed on their end. When I brought that up to her, she countered that insurance coverage denials are common at her practice, that they are accustomed to challenging and even threatening insurance companies. Other dental offices I contacted thereafter while seeking a new permanent dentist all disputed Dr. Murphy's certainty of a root canal based on my symptoms, one dentist office explaining that even slight misalignment of temp crowns can cause the pain I was experiencing. Her abscess/tooth extraction comments were sharply rejected by these other dental offices I called up. Even Dr. Murphy's own assistant seemed confused about her abscess/extraction warning. I opted not to move forward with any further treatment past her temp crown, got my refund and set up shop with another dentist who removed her temp crown and placed his own. Within only a week of his procedure, my pain is largely nonexistent, and I can now eat pain-free on that side again-no root canal needed. Near 2 months of torture and agonizing pain because of Dr. Murphy's rushed pressuring towards a costly invasive procedure. I am now seeing an incredibly reliable dentist. Guess I have a magic tooth after all, Dr. Murphy. Patients beware!!!

I'm not sure why the two have such similar names. I have called the wrong place at least once by mistake. "Falls Dental Group" Is great!

Our daughter had a routine cleaning in mid-May, and she is quite proud of herself for quitting her thumb-sucking on the very day that you and Mary gave her your pep talks and pinky promises. She's a very decisive young person, but I know that your straightforward, caring approach to the conversation helped seal the deal on putting that habit in the past. Our son had two cavities filled on June 1st. I was impressed with the way you calmly and positively talked him through the process prior to starting the procedure. My husband and I appreciate you being realistic with him about how he is accountable for preventing future cavities. Kaitlyn's kind disposition made him feel more comfortable, and I can see that she takes pride in doing her job well, too. We do not plan to have any more cavities in our family - it's a new rule around here. :) I do anticipate, however, that we'll need plenty of dental care in the future. I remember my own parents trying out a few dentists on me and my younger siblings when we were kids. It took a while to find a good one. We feel very fortunate that our family has a dentist we can trust to not only take good care of all of our teeth right now, but also someone who will help our children develop good dental habits that will lead to healthy teeth for years to come.

Now everyone in my family comes here (pediatric and general). I have had great service. Davies family has been in the Waukesha area for a long time and now the children are taking over dentistry in Waukesha and built this beautiful facility at their current location. They do community service too which is nice. One stop shop for pediatric, adult and orthodontist. In fact my daughter had developed under bite and with their recommendation through the orthodontist here her teeth moved as planned and we may not have to have braces for her (she is now 10). I would have to say exceptional service all around and I am so happy to have moved here for myself and highly recommend trying hem if you are looking. While there they have a nice waiting room especially for the pediatric waiting room filled with toys and activities. While in the chair they have monitor with relaxing scenery and sun glasses to help block the bright spot light. Nice touch! For me, we don't specify which dentist we want. Whichever is available at the time of the visit comes in to do the final check so you are in quickly and out quickly. I really like that aspect. I will post more pictures the next visit. Even though the quote says that they are going to call for an approval, they don't. Over $3000 for two crowns I did not want. That is a lot of money.
