We have been working for over 1 year to get a business license for another business and this handled by a company in California. After over 25 attempts, they cash the check but continue to come back for more information that was already provided. They tell you one thing and a month later tell you just the opposite. The past three City Managers, do not followup when the promise to do so. After multiple visits to a grand City Hall where there are few workers, it is clear the staff is completely incompetent. They have all been nice but do not communicate and are harrassing business owners. It this from the top down?

Especially the Chinatown Food Court which is full of gems like a Chongqing and Tsingtao. It was built as a "new Chinatown", where the area is constructed before the Asians move in, as opposed to the older, natural Chinatowns which sprung up in a more organic way (to quite hipsters). Though I am not a resident of Hapeville, I am always in the area so I had to show up and support The park itself is absolutely beautiful. The city has made great use of the space as well as the landscaping is beautiful. The grass is green, the flowers around the fence are colorful and the park presents as a great recreational space as a whole. The National Night Out event was an abundance of family fun. As it kicked off at 4:00pm, it wasn't too hot and there was a nice breeze flowing through. There was a train ride for the kids, a dunking station, and ample games and vendors throughout the park. For the adults, the vendor options were ideal for those looking for employment, as well as those who love to support local and small businesses. Yes! There was something for everyone. As I arrived hungry, (don't judge me), I was excited to see the assortment of food trucks that were in the parking lot. This was truly the perfect makings for a great family day in the park. As a whole, I will definitely be returning to Jess Lucas Y-Teen Park as the ambiance is perfect for a me day with lunch and a good book or even to do a few laps around the track as 6 Laps = 1 Mile according to the sign. Right in the heart of Marietta is this great venue, Cobb County Civic Center. It's not too large,…read moreit is wheelchair accessible, has an elevator inside, and parking is free. The entrance fee depends on the event that is going on. The parking lot is large so you can just park outside the venue and walk into the building. Through the years, I have attended, Gem Shows, International Festivals, Christmas Markets and Gun Shows. The venue is just right size for me, and not too large, so you do not have to wear yourself out by walking miles in a huge Exchibition Hall like the Omni in Atlanta. There are two levels inside. Sometimes the exhibitors are presenting their products in both stories. Other times, like the last Expo I attended had vendors only on the bottom floor. This is an older building but still well maintained and clean. There are restrooms upstairs and downstairs, you just have to look for them. Of course, how much you will enjoy the event you are attending depends on your interests and the organisors. I would highly recommend this place. There has always been Cobb County police present for security.

El Rey is a great taco shop, Sweet Hut has lovely bubble tea and pastries, and Bismillah is awesome for curry, and that is just the tip of the proverbial iceberg. You could spend a year driving up and down this road and never eat at the same place for dinner twice. Oh and don't get me started on the delicious Crawfish Shack, which sells the cheapest and most delicious Cajun style crawfish in the area, despite being Vietnamese rather than from the Bayous of the Deep South.
