Thanks for the help ladies! #posted

I love Brookhaven Laundry. Anytime I've had an issue with any of the machines, they've given me a free wash. When I hurt my foot, and was on crutches, they help me load the washer and dryer. Pro tip: it's really busy on the weekend. Best to come during the week. :)

Great location. The attendant was very friendly and she helped me get the right amount of change for the clothes I was washing. It's not the biggest laundromat. Also, like most of them, there is no air conditioning only fans so it's very warm inside.

One of two tables to sit at while you wait. Other benches & folding tables, but nothing to wait at.

Minimal parking, no AC, "Kid's Corner" filled with folded & bagged laundry (I assume for pickup). Washers & dryers old, several out of service. No ATM inside, so better bring your own cash. Table to wait at is completely broken. Came here because of the good reviews, but will not be coming back.2

This is my go to location for wash and fold. It's a dollar a lb. Which for Buckhead standards is awesome. They always have plenty of large washers and dryers when I come in to do my bedding. Limited parking but I would recommend.

Got my wash and fold done in a few hours, at a reasonable price, on a Sunday. Works for me.

My 4-Star Review for WaveMax Laundry I have been coming to…read morethis WaveMax Laundry location off Cobb Parkway near the Big Chicken almost every week on Tuesdays or Wednesdays at midday for months now. While the facility is clean and the staff is wonderful, I am giving this a 4-star review instead of a 5-star because of a frustrating issue with the dryer timers. Whenever you open a dryer door to pull a few items out early, the timer keeps ticking down. You end up losing precious minutes that you paid for while the machine is paused. I have mentioned this before, and I really hope the owner can find a way to remedy this so the timer pauses when the door is opened. Aside from that issue, the facility itself is great. It is about two years old, filled with excellent new machines, and kept incredibly clean. I also appreciate that when the owner adjusted the dryers to 10 cents a quarter, he lowered the washing machine prices from $5.75 down to $5.00. Another big plus is the late hours, with the last wash at 8:00 PM and closing at 10:00PM The absolute best part of this laundromat is the staff. There are three ladies who work here, including Elena, who opens in the morning. They are the heartbeat of this business and work incredibly hard. Recently, the owner seems to have secured a new hotel contract because flatbeds and trucks have been arriving loaded down with massive trailers of dirty laundry. Even though their workload has easily tripled, these three women don't skip a beat. They keep the place spotless--constantly wiping down the machines inside and out, cleaning the dryers, and keeping the floors immaculate--all while being warm and friendly to everyday customers. Because the laundromat is open from 7:00 AM to 9:00 PM, these ladies are putting in long, demanding days, with Elena often working past her shift to handle the commercial laundry. I truly hope the owner recognizes their dedication under this heavy new workload and rewards them with a well-deserved raise. They treat this business like it is their own and deserve to be financially appreciated!

I don't think I have ever been to a laundromat as nice as this one. I decided to go out of my…read moreneighborhood for a change to get a different experience and I'm glad I did. I got there at 8am. This place has automatic doors so that you don't struggle getting in the door with your laundry. I was greeted by a couple of employees working there. That's so unusual these days. Usually laundromats almost always run themselves with no one in them. Not here. There are huge rolling carts at the door and there is a ramp so that you don't have to walk down the steps. The washers take either coin or debit card/credit card. This is a win win win for me as I do not carry cash almost never. They have every size machine you can think of and at first it seems a little pricey but he dryers are free. So I guess that's how they offset it but its all good. I had a lot of clothes and only paid $14. I usually pay $20. There is a play area for children, computer, and they even rent UHauls in this location which is another plus. There were plenty of trucks in the lot. That is unusual as well because in Atlanta people move constantly. The place is super clean and even the bathroom is clean. Amazed!!!

The clothes dryer died, so, after consulting Yelp, found Patio Laundry has high ratings, so I took…read morethe drive there with wet clothes that needed to be dried before they started smelling funky, along with the rest of the clothes that hadn't even been washed. Came here on a Sunday evening and it was packed! The parking lot should give customers an indication whether they should stay and do their own laundry here or go elsewhere. If you can find parking, you'll most likely find laundry machines readily available. However, if you can't find parking, it'll be a while until you find open machines. The first thing that I noticed was that this laundry facility was CLEAN! It's so clean looking and smelling that I would seriously consider the five-second rule if I dropped food on the floor. When I was there, there was what looked like an attentive, courteous, helpful and knowledgeable husband and wife team of employees who were working throughout this business. Since it has been years since I stepped foot into a laundromat, I actually dreaded coming here before I experienced this business, but this is probably the nicest and best maintained laundry business I've ever been in. There are so many stainless steel, industrial grade washers and dryers, in various sizes, which means that the pricing, which is reasonable, depends on the size of the machine and any customization of the washing and drying cycles. This place could use more tables to allow customers to sort, fold and organize their clean clothes. There are many large, clean, functional and industrial grade rolling clothes baskets available to customers. I know, I know - I get thrilled seeing these baskets that can keep rolling with a heavy load of clothes (or people) in them because they have those extra strength wheels on them. Whenever the two employees saw an issue, like a wet floor, spilled laundry soap or fabric softener (wet or dry), soap residue in the machine thingies where customers add soap and other things, trash, rolling laundry baskets blocking people's paths, or anything else that needed cleaning, they immediately took care of it after seeing it. And they did it while being courteous and nice, without complaints or rolls of their eyes. These two are saints! The industrial grade washers and dryers are fast and efficient, and they don't ruin clothes or start walking off - have you ever witnessed unbalanced washers shimmying their way across the floor? Lots of light, a clean restroom (at least the men's restroom is), and vending machines (for soap, fabric softener, and bottled drinks and packaged snacks) are available here. Oh, and customers also have the option of dropping their dirty laundry off at the window and paying the employees the price per pound of clothes so that the employees wash, dry and fold their clothes. Just know that the employees also use the same washers and dryers as all the customers, so if the place is busy, the employees may be delayed in getting your drop off clothes processed. I highly recommend Patio Laundry!
