    Bleeding from neutering.
    Lorraine G.

I brought my dog Ollie here for a routine neuter, and it ended in the worst experience of my life. When I called to check on him after surgery, the staff couldn't give me a clear answer about his condition. They also didn't know he had a retained testicle when I had previously spoken to them on October 29 about him having a routine testicle anyways When I picked him up, he was bleeding and I was told this was "normal." When It wasn't. Later that night, the bleeding continued to the point it was gushing and an emergency vet informed me it was not normal and that he needed immediate care. Despite everything we did, Ollie ultimately passed away due to the complications and lack of proper postoperative guidance. I trusted this clinic with my pet's life, and their negligence cost him everything. No owner should ever have to go through this. I hope they take accountability and improve their standards so this never happens to another family. Also I'd like to add you can file a complaint online to the board of vets for animal negligence @breeze.ca.gov

Took my bunny to get her eye checked out as she had an eye infection. The doctor was great, she told me exactly what was wrong, what we can do to help and offered other solutions to prevent it from happening again. She also gave me a lot of tips regarding care, and you can tell she was very knowledgeable and caring. Price was great, the front service was super polite and kind, and I'm happy i found a vet that cares for rabbits.

How do I even start... I came here last week with my 9 month old shih tzu who was coming in to get spayed. 15 minutes after the surgery we get home and I notice that she's bleeding excessively from her wound. So I bring her right back, the dr had lifted her up aggressively that her stitches had come out and she had to go under anesthesia once again. They prescribed a 12 pound dog half a pill of 15 mg of meloxicam which is an INSANE amount once I went to a different vet they sounded so concerned about her and immediately had to give her a blood test because she was throwing up every single day after surgery. I would never recommend anyone to bring any type of fur babies here if you love them.

    5 days after spay

All good after spay sugergy. Good price: $180 price in total Check in early, fill in information, pick her up at 4:30pm. 2 days pain medicine and now she's back to her Orange energy.

Great place to take your rabbit! Great Vet, great prices and friendly staff. This isn't one of those places that are just out for money and they seem to actually care about your pet. I took my rabbit here to get spayed and they did a great job. I was so worried but they took good care of my rabbit and she recovered well.

I've been going to them for years.. same people same place still reasonable on their prices.. also sat and now also on Sunday's first come first serve.. check for hours those days..

I arrived at this pet hospital at 6:30 AM to make sure I was first in line, since their listed opening time is 7:00 AM. It's now 7:20, and not a single staff member has shown up or opened the doors. No updates, no communication. If you're going to advertise that you open at 7, then please be there and ready by that time--especially when people are here early with pets who may need care. This is incredibly frustrating and unprofessional.

We were able to get an appointment for my rabbit's spay after they had a cancellation. Called a little bit before 9 am and they had an opening available! The process was simple. You fill out paperwork, drop her off and come pick her back up later in the day. Super easy. Typically hospitals require a checkup prior to the surgery, but they check if they're all good for surgery prior to the actual procedure. This hospital is known to be affordable with reliable pricing. I called over 20+ hospitals for pricing for a spay and the minimum i got was around 300-1200. As a college student, those were prices were out of my price range and i was happy to be able to have my bunnies surgery here/The cost of the procedure was discounted and was around $120 which is what they quoted me over the phone. When receiving quotes from other hospitals, the estimates remained inconsistent from the ones they gave me the phone. But brookhaven offers a firm price for their services. We were given pain meds after the surgery with post care instructions. I had no complications with my pets recovery and she was back to normal self by the 2nd-3rd day! she is happy and playing once again :) definitely would recommend for anyone who is looking for affordable vet services!

We were incredibly worried and scared about him, and it was such an emotional and overwhelming time for us. From the moment we met Dr. Eskander, she was not only incredibly knowledgeable, but also so compassionate, patient, and genuinely caring. She treated Appa with so much kindness and love, and she made us feel like we were not alone through such a difficult experience. What really touched our hearts was how much she cared about us too. She took the time to answer our questions, listen to our concerns, and reassure us when we were scared. She helped calm both me and my husband when we needed it most. And then, even after Appa's visit, Dr. Eskander followed up with us to make sure he was okay. That meant more to us than she probably realizes. It showed us that Appa wasn't just another patient to her. She truly cared about how he was doing. As pet parents, all we want is someone who will care for our babies as much as we do, and Dr. Eskander gave us exactly that. We will forever be grateful for the compassion, kindness, and care she showed our boy. Thank you, Dr. Eskander, for taking such wonderful care of Appa and for giving two very worried pet parents some much-needed comfort during a very difficult time. We will never forget your kindness. If you are looking for a veterinarian who genuinely cares about both your pet and your family, we cannot recommend Dr. Eskander enough.

Around our house, he's simply known as The Cat Whisperer. Somehow he has this magical "Dr. Ash method" that can calm even my most nervous, difficult cats. Cats that normally hide, hiss, or make everyone work for it seem to trust him. I still haven't figured out his secret! What really sets Dr. Ash apart is the time he gives every patient and every pet parent. He never makes you feel rushed. He explains blood work and treatment options in incredible detail, answers every question, and has even called me in the evening to personally discuss test results. That level of care and dedication is almost unheard of. I also want to recognize his amazing staff. Raquel, Andrea, and everyone at the clinic are always so kind, patient, and genuinely caring. Whether they're drawing blood, collecting urine samples, trimming nails, or giving one of my cats a sanitary trim, they handle each cat with such compassion and professionalism. You can tell they truly love what they do. I've trusted Dr. Ash and his team with my cats for many years, and I wouldn't trust anyone more. They treat every one of my cats as if they were their own, and that means the world to me. And here's the highest compliment I can give him: if Dr. Ash ever moved to Timbuktu... I'd be pricing moving trucks the same day. That's how much I trust him. Thank you, Dr. Ash, Raquel, Andrea, and the entire team for the exceptional care you've given my furry family over the years. You are all simply the best.

In June 2026, I was frantically calling vet offices after receiving an unforeseen and distressing diagnosis for my (then-senior) Shiba at the emergency VCA in Fountain Valley. The receptionist was very attentive and nice, and was able to get us seen straight away in the morning when they opened. Aside from the really great customer/patient service, the lobby was small, but very clean. The atmosphere isn't dreary, which I really appreciated at the time. We were seen by Dr. Acevedo, who was very professional and warm. I explained what was happening to my 11.5 year old boy--he was diagnosed with pericardial effusion, cardiac tamponade with ascites--and she explained very thoroughly what they were going to do that day. I did have to drop him off for most of the day and pick him up at the end of it, which I didn't love, but I understand it's because I was basically a very last-minute appointment, and the procedure they were going to do was a drain plus radiographs along with other tests. Unfortunately, as his symptoms progressed aggressively and Dr. Acevedo had results to talk about with me, she let me know over the phone that the prognosis was not good. I then went in, where she showed me the radiographs and gave me a detailed explanation of what she was seeing, and even compared my dog's x-ray to a healthy dog's x-ray to help me understand better what was happening. Dr. Acevedo was very sincere, she told me she's seen this several times before, and the outlook based on what she saw would mean my boy would be in a constant state of recovery. Eventually, I made the very painful decision to lay him to rest with an at-home service with a different practice the next week. Overall, Dr. Acevedo was incredible. Because his decline was so rapid, I was constantly blowing up the phone at her office asking about everything ranging from treatments, to what I should look out for so that I don't wait too long to lay him to rest. Every time, she was very informative and tried to help me with what I was going through with my best friend. Thank you to everyone at Lincoln Animal Hospital.
